"Get back here, you pesky snakes!" a large beast roared, its voice rumbling through the forest as it charged after its prey.

If any of the Dao Wind Continent's cultivators were to witness this scene, they would have been both shocked and terrified. The beast chasing through the underbrush was a figure of legend, well-known across the Empire.

It was none other than the Blue Drake, the serpentine overlord of the forest north of the Capital Region.

The Blue Drake's lithe, sinuous body undulated like flowing water, its shimmering cerulean scales refracting light into a dazzling spectrum of blues. Each scale seemed alive, pulsing faintly with an inner glow, as though harboring the essence of a tranquil lake.

Crowning its tapered head were two elegant, frost-like horns, and long whisker-like tendrils trailed from its snout, radiating a soft luminescence. These tendrils, sensitive to Qi, were prized for crafting sensor-type Immortal Tools. Along its back ran a fin-like crest, reminiscent of frozen waves, which worked in harmony with its webbed claws, enabling it to master both air and water.

The creature exuded an aura of regal majesty and elemental power. Yet today, its grace was eclipsed by fury as it rampaged through the forest in pursuit of two serpents: one black and one white.

"Hahaha, you can't catch us!" Xiao Yin's voice rang out with playful defiance as she twisted effortlessly through the air.

"You're too slow! Big brother Shrubby would've caught us by now!" Xiao Yang teased, darting between branches with serpentine precision.

"You little—!" the Blue Drake roared, its temper flaring. It lashed out with a sweep of its claws, unleashing a devastating barrage of water elemental Qi.

The attacks tore through the forest, obliterating trees, rocks, and anything in their path. Yet the serpents danced between the gaps, their flexible bodies weaving through the destruction with ease.

For all its might, the Blue Drake found itself frustrated. Despite its overwhelming power, the two smaller beasts evaded every strike.

Having fought alongside Lin Mu, the twin snakes had faced foes far mightier than this Seventh Tribulation Stage Immortal Realm beast. To them, the Drake was no more than a warm-up.

"Why are you so bad at this?" Xiao Yin called out mockingly, her voice dripping with laughter.

"Yes, so clumsy for an overlord of the forest!" Xiao Yang added, his tone playful.

The Blue Drake's confusion grew as frustration boiled over. Who were these serpents, and why were they so fast? Their bloodline aura was strong—stronger than any ordinary beasts.

Before the Drake could process its thoughts, the twins closed in, circling him at blinding speed.

The Drake staggered as the twins struck its back with their tails.

"You dare?!" the Blue Drake bellowed, its anger erupting like a tidal wave.

Drawing in a deep breath, the Drake tilted its head skyward and released a powerful roar.

"What are you aiming at?" Xiao Yin teased.

"We're right here, you know!" Xiao Yang chimed in.

But the Drake ignored them, its cerulean eyes glowing with focused determination. The air began to shift as dark clouds gathered overhead.

Rain started to fall, but it was no ordinary rain. The droplets shimmered with blue energy, each imbued with potent Water Elemental Dao Traces.

Suddenly, the rain seemed to freeze midair, forming a crystalline web that snared the twins' movements.

"What's happening?" Xiao Yin exclaimed, her agility hampered as she collided with an immobile droplet.

"It's not ice... but it's solid?" Xiao Yang added, perplexed.

The Blue Drake wasted no time, surging forward with renewed ferocity. Its claws slashed through the air, its jaws snapping shut with lethal precision, while its muscular tail smashed down like a falling mountain.

Now the twins were actually fighting the Blue Drake. Their previous attack on the Blue Drake was a mere tail slap, doing damage to its ego but not the body.

The twins breathed out clouds of black and white mist that transformed into arrows of their own before shooting at the Blue Drake.

"Yin and Yang Immortal Qi?!" The Blue Drake was alarmed.

The twins own arrows clashed with the Aqua Shred Arrows Dao Skill, not only matching its might but also overpowering it. This was after all arrows made from Yin and Yang element, both of which were superior to the basic Water Element.

Faced with such an attack, the Blue Drake retaliated with an even greater force, choosing to increase the scale of the attack.
