Chapter 10: Chapter 9: The Half Awakening of Princess Vickie
Elena opened her eyes in a place without any sky, trees, or buildings. It was like a room with nothing around. Suddenly, footsteps could be heard approaching her. "I see, you're back," said a black girl around her age with white hair flowing down her shoulders, her pink eyeballs staring at Elena mockingly. "Ready to accept me now?" she added, looking at Elena with a sly smile.

In a mansion, David was engrossed in his laptop, the room adorned with intricate designs on the walls and floor, giving it a fancy and elegant look. Sitting on the bed, he was hacking and uncovering secrets about the lab. "This looks interesting. Maybe I can find out more about Elena, magic, and much more," he whispered to himself.
He then stumbled upon a revelation about a magical land named Mystical. He discovered that the experiments gone wrong were linked to the magical creatures' blood and other parts of their bodies that possessed magic.
"I see how they were able to perform magic, creating fire out of nothing. That's something new," Daniel concluded. "If we want to stop these things, we need information from Elena and knowledge of where this magical land is. I need to speak with her," he added, talking to himself with his eyes fixed on the laptop screen.

Elena frowned at Vickie. "You know that both of us are going to die, right?" Vickie said with a cold expression, but quickly reverted to her usual happy demeanor, making jokes.
"That's why I let go. I can't keep fighting you. After we're done with rebirth, I'll return to Mystical. It's been six years now, your body must have been ready." she said, clasping her hands together.
Vickie walked around Elena, her finger on her pink lips. "It was a fair trade. My magic, spirit, and memories were transplanted into you because I was dying, and my family wasn't ready to let me go. We agreed because we had no choice. I needed to leave and rule Mystical as the next queen, so we gave you mortals some magical beasts in exchange for a body. Now look around you, an uncontrollable creature, a monster."
"Anyways, we've fulfilled our part. It's time for you to fulfill yours. After this, we'll return to Mystical. For now, you have access to my ears to hear and my eyes to see. I won't be able to use my full powers because it might put you at risk," Vickie said, smiling at Elena.
"Sorry, did you just say 'your body'?"
"Yes, my body. Do you have a problem with that?"
"Let's just forget about it."
"It's settled. After all these years in your body, having to protect you every time you're in trouble because if you die, I die too," Vickie said, fading away bit by bit with a smile.
Elena, looking tired of Vickie's chatter, remarked, "You talk too much for a princess, Vickie."
"What do you mean?"
"Never mind. Just go save the day. But before you go, I have a question for you."
"Which is?"
"Why didn't you help me three weeks ago when I was attacked?"
"Not everything I assist with," replied Vickie as her eyes turned fully pink. "Time to go," she said as she disappeared.
"Come at me already, so we can—" Before Rebirth could finish it's sentence, Vickie was already close to it, a pink spike made of cristar piercing it stomach.
The fire creature roared as it swung its flaming fists at the girl with white hair, Vickie, who was using Elena's body as a host. Vickie fought back with her own pink flames, the heat of the battle intensifying with each clash.
The creature's fiery attacks were relentless, but Vickie managed to dodge and counter with her own powerful flames. The air crackled with energy as they clashed, their powers colliding in a dazzling display of light and heat.
Elena, trapped within her own body as Vickie controlled it, could feel the strain of the battle taking its toll. She screamed for Vickie to stop, to release her from this endless fight, but Vickie's determination was unwavering.
As the creature landed a devastating blow, Elena felt the sharp pain shoot through her body. Blood trickled from her lips, her strength beginning to falter. Vickie could feel the strain on Elena's body, but she refused to back down.
Elena managed to gasp out a plea for Vickie to stop, to let her go before it was too late. But Vickie, consumed by the battle, could only respond with a fierce determination to defeat the creature at any cost.
The fight continued, both sides locked in a deadly struggle. Elena's body began to shake, unable to withstand the strain any longer. With a final burst of pink flame, Vickie unleashed her full power, pushing the creature back.
As the creature staggered back, defeated, Vickie collapsed to the ground, breathing heavily. Elena's body lay motionless, the toll of the battle too much for it to bear. Vickie looked down at her, a mix of guilt and determination in her eyes.
She whispered a promise to Elena, vowing to protect her no matter what. But as the fire creature began to stir once more, Vickie knew that the battle was far from over. And she would need to harness every ounce of her power to survive.
"Hi, Eva," David's voice came from a mini mechanical drone.
Eva turned as she hid behind a tree. "Daniel, where the hell are you?"
"There is not much I can do from here, but I can't see you die. Take this." Daniel dropped a mini ball and told her that once it touched the ground, a shield would come out to protect them. He instructed her to take Elena and hide inside the shield. Eva gave the drone a look and asked what he was planning. He explained that he had tracked a missile that could rain down on them at any moment.
Without hesitation, Eva ran to Elena and dropped the ball on the ground. The shield activated, protecting them as the missiles rained down and destroyed the woods. As the smoke cleared, the fire creature known as Rebirth stood on its feet, smiling. Daniel muttered, "You've got to be kidding me," as he watched the monster on his laptop screen.
