Villainess In The Apocalypse: All The Male Leads Are Obsessed With Me

Chapter 7: 6: disbelief

As Raven blinked up at Micah who was unfairly hot in such a Dracula-vampire way, she felt irritation coursed through her veins.

Initially, she planned to completely ignore the innocent female lead. But now that she has discovered the female lead is her sister, she wasn't sure she'd be able to do that. However, it's seeming like she might have to do just that for now at least.

"Keep staring at me till you're filled up, I know you're enjoying the view." Micah drawled, arrogance dripping from his voice and Raven felt herself slowly bristle, then she glared up at him, noticing the way his lips were slightly twitching.

"Don't delude yourself, the view is the most basic I've seen in years." She hurled at him, enjoying the way a surprised look cross his face.

"Now, you're literally lying through your teeth, cause weren't you just throwing yourself at me two days ago?" He crooned and even though that was the doing of the original Villianess, Raven still felt embarrassed as hell, her face growing hot.

"That's— in the past. Something that ridiculous won't ever happen again. And for the record, I have no intention of hurting Ivy anymore, so you can get lost now." She gritted out before attempting to walk past him, but he stepped in front of her again.

"Why don't I believe you?" He drawled in a husky lilt, his lips twitching again.

Raven let out an irritated scoff. "Well, that's none of my concern. Believe whatever you want."

She marched around him and resumed walking forward, tugging Carla along with her.

Instead of the arrogant male lead to leave her alone, he fell into step beside her, to Raven's utter bewilderment.

She threw him a withering glare and walked faster, but he easily matched up her pace with those long, muscular legs of his, further annoying Raven.

"What's your problem?!" She demanded after suddenly halting her movements.

He shrugged lazily, a lazy grin across his face, like he had all the time in the world. The sheer arrogance dripping off him was almost choking, and Raven couldn't for the life of her see what the original villianess saw in this person, aside from him being conventionally attractive, that is.

"My problem is that I just know you have an ulterior motive. Let me make a quick guess. You're probably trying to intrigue me this way? By suddenly acting uninterested. Is that it?"

Raven let out a scoff of disbelief. This man is really delusional.

"This isn't an act. I'm really uninterested in you, so please leave me alone." She snapped, then resumed walking, but he fell into steps beside her again.

Fucking hell.

"You're clearly lying, but just give up this new tactic cause it definitely won't work on me. The only person I'm interested in is Ivy, don't delude yourself into thinking that would randomly change one day." He drawled and Raven stopped walking to face him, a faux smile on her face.

"I'd never delude myself into thinking that. That's the last thing I'd ever want. In fact, I'd rather chew rocks than to ever want to become the object of your desire."

He arched a brow just as she whirled around and resumed walking.

"Really? You say this now, but at last week's party, I clearly remember you offering to give your virginity to me cause you're so in love with me. Tell me, have you quickly found someone else to give it to?"

Those words made Raven stumble on thin air.

Did the original villainess really tell him that? Oh god… talk about humiliating.

Raven cleared her throat and schooled her facial expression before facing Micah again.

"Whatever I chose to do with my virginity is none of your concern." She told him flatly and he snorted, making her grow more infuriated.

He suddenly stepped close to her, but she refused to step away even though she could feel his body heat against hers, and she refused to avert her gaze even though his gaze felt almost too intense for her.

"You'll come crawling back to me anyway, but I'll remind you that I only like Ivy." He informed her.

She rolled her eyes. "I'd rather chew grass before I ever do that. Your arrogance is annoying, so trust me, that's such a turn off to me. And please, go fuck yourself."

Micah gave her one last, dismissing but warning look before turning and walking till he got out of sight, and Raven hasn't felt this annoyed in a really long while. It took all her self control to not slap him during the entire conversation.

Carla was gaping at her when she glanced at her. "You had the perfect opportunity to flirt with him, yet you chose to argue with him…"

Raven scoffed. "I was being serious when I told you I wasn't interested in things like that anymore. In fact, I don't know what I was thinking in the past when I did stupid stuff like chase after him and other boys for example."

Carla was still regarding her in shock, but Raven was still fuming in anger from that encounter with Micah.

She decided that she officially hated Micah.

After that sour exchange, Raven and Carla finally got to check out a bunch of warehouses. They weren't as big as she expected, so she asked one of the guys showing them around the seventh warehouse they're checking out today if he knows any unoccupied, abandoned or uncompleted buildings that's spacious as hell, cause she'd like to check those out.

She needed somewhere very spacious where she'd stock up outside the space, and these small warehouses she'd been seeing weren't big enough for her.

The man eagerly placed a few phone calls around, then he gave them a phone number which she called. The number she called, ended up being a bubbly woman who's an agent willing to show her around a few uncompleted buildings some of her clients have abandoned buildings and are interested in selling them.

Raven instantly agreed for them to meet up, feeling like luck just smiled down on her.

As they took a cab to the address the agent sent them, Carla looked perplexed as she asked Raven what she needed large warehouses for, but Raven assured her she'll explain it all to her in no time.

Raven is a little unsure if she can trust Carla, but she had a feeling Carla would never betray her. However, she once said this same thing about her sister and husband, yet they backstabbed her, so she doesn't want to make the same mistake twice.

When they arrived at the location, the agent, a beautiful, young woman eagerly showed them a few uncompleted buildings, all big enough according to what Raven had in mind, and Raven felt like she just hit the jackpot.

"Can all the foundations in the buildings be brought down in a few days?" She asked the agent who nodded eagerly.

"Yes, miss."

"And the roofing? How fast can it be completed to a very standard state?" She asked next.

"After full payment… latest, five days, all of that would be completely carried out." The agent revealed, then Raven asked for the prices the owners of these buildings were willing to sell them.

After haggling for a while, they agreed on a price, then Raven promised to make payment tonight.

When she left with Carla, a pleased smile was on her face.

As she headed home that evening, she made sure to stop at a store and shop for presents for the entire family.

Tonight, she'll tell them about the upcoming apocalypse.
