Villain Rehabilitator

Chapter 9: Goro.

The newbies, who had been summoned to the training grounds, trudged along with dejected expressions.

As they followed the samurai who had picked them up, they couldn't help but complain:

"Can you believe we're doing this so early in the morning?"

"Do these guys hate us or something?"

"Is this all Lucy's fault for doing the unforgivable?"

"You're right, but why didn't the Tama Artist finish him off when he did it, instead of punishing all of us?"

The samurai ignored their murmurs and instructed them to line up in a single file like school children when they reached the training grounds.

He waited for his superiors to arrive, but hours passed without anyone showing up.

Just as the sun began to rise, Katsura appeared, accompanied by a fat teenager with a jiggling potbelly, and a cold, condescending gaze.

Lucy's face twisted in rage for a brief moment as he recognized this ginger haired pig.

'That cousin of mine, whom I punched in the face a few years ago, is now in charge of looking over this whole place? Considering his family background it is easy.'

'This will complicate things, but he'll be the first person I kill to avenge my mother. His death must be more painful than when he asked his parents to assault my mother in front of me!'

Just as Lucy cleared his thoughts, a punch suddenly came flying towards his face.

Before he could react, Goro was already in front of him, unleashing a barrage of punches to his gut.

Despite the vicious attacks, Lucy endured the pain without making a sound, making everyone look at him in awe as the one-sided assault continued.

Anyone could tell that they were related thanks to their similar facial features, if you remove the fact that one had pig-like features with long ginger hair, while the other had giraffe-like features with shoulder-length scarlet hair.

Soon enough Goro tired himself out, and he took a break to catch its breath for few seconds, before he smirked at his cousin.

"Do you think that just because you've grown some muscles, you can do whatever you want in front of a renowned samurai like me?"

Goro sneered. "This isn't three years ago, when I didn't have full control over the Tama that my grandfather gave me. You took advantage of that and punched me in the face when I insulted your mother!"

A smirk appeared on Goro's lips, and his arm stretched behind his body before suddenly increasing in size.

With a fierce cry, he propelled his massive fist towards his cousin.

Lucy felt helpless as the giant fist hurtled towards him; it was too fast and too big to dodge. In the end, he could only let it clash against his body, sending him flying like a ragdoll towards the hard concrete floor.

Seeing the man who punched him the face wiggle in pain, Goro released a series of evil laughs that echoed through the air as he celebrated his revenge.

However, his laughter was short-lived, as his gaze fell upon the person standing next to the position his cousin was at.

Thud... thud... thud...

His heart began to beat violently against his chest.

'I want her...'

It had been a while since Goro had last seen a woman, but the girl before him was a rare beauty - just his type.

She was petite, with a slender figure and smooth, pale skin. Her big blue eyes perfected her round face, giving her a doll-like appearance.

Not missing the chance, Goro walked towards her, sizing her up and down. When he reached her side, he caressed her long silver hair and began speaking in a seductive tone.

"Listen, Baby Girl, I need you, and I want you... We can do this the hard way, or the easy way? The choice is yours."

Sora's face cringed in fright as Goro finished speaking. She wanted to scream that she was a boy, but fear left her speechless.

Luckily for her, Goro realized something that had gone amiss in his body; 'I used all my Ren in attacking Lucien! Damn it! I must look cool in front of this girl, but I'll save that for next time.'

He walked away from Sora, leaving her gasping for air, but his lustrous gaze paused for a while as he looked at the other girl in the group.

"Hmm... you're not too bad yourself. Maybe next time I'll play around with you."

Tsukino felt her whole body shudder, like she had been electrified, but Goro had no time ponder about her, as he turned his back on them and looked over at the samurai.

He sneered, "Don't give that cousin of mine pretending to be dead the map; he's illiterate! Choose someone else from the bunch. Maybe one of the two beauties would do."

Goro turned back and blew air kisses at the two girls, before walking away from the training grounds with a smirk on his face.

A few minutes later, the group finally left the camp and ventured onto a the surrounding forest.

They walked on a narrow pathway, with Tsukino leading the way, which made Shinji and his crew not pleased with the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, as they preferred to march into battle while singing motivational songs.

Tsukino, on the other hand, favored stealth and silence, she did not want to alert their enemies to their approach.

"Can't we at least sing a poem to honor our possible last day alive?" Shinji asked, but Tsukino shook her head.

Shinji grumbled, muttering under his breath, "You're just acting cocky because you're fooling around with that pig Tama Artist."

Tsukino's eyes narrowed, and she warned, "What did you just say?"

Shinji sneered, "I said you're ugly!"

The group's movement came to a halt as the two exchanged vicious insults. However, their argument was cut short when one of their groupmates suddenly collapsed beside them, headless.

Before they could process what was happening, two more headless bodies flew towards the group.

Tsukino quickly consulted her map, her expression darkening. "Everyone, prepare for battle! We're surrounded by a pack of stage 2 wind jaguars!"
