Chapter 1283: Preparations
-----
I quickly infused three new Skills into Emilia, Patrick, and Hermes' cores, which would allow our entire army to grow much stronger as a result.
Ding!
[The unindentified {Bonded Neutonium Core: Emilia} has been upgraded and infused with a new Neutonium Ability!]
[The unindentified {Bonded Neutonium Core: Emilia} has gained the Neutonium Ability: [Familiar Soul Feasting]!]
First of all, Emilia would hold the Familiar Soul Feasting Skill.
This would allow me to devour the souls of dead Familiars and regain their Mana and also gain some temporary bonus stats.
-----
[Familiar Soul Feasting: Lv3]
Skill Proficiency: 0/75.000
A Powerful Divine Skill that only belongs to the Divine Summoner that has merged the powers of the Necromancer Talent together.
Whenever a Familiar Dies, you can freely choose between using Necromancy and raise them as Undead Familiars or take their Familiar Souls to Extract their Souls.
When the Familiar Soul is consumed, you will gain 10% (+5% with each Level) of that Familiar's Total Stats and one Phantasmal Trait (Current Bonus +25%), alongside one of their Skills of your choice, alongside restoring 50% of the MP spent summoning the Familiar and also some Soul Energy, enhancing your own Soul. The effect can be stacked for up to 14 Times.
Additionally, by condensing 6 Familiar Souls together, you can crystalize them into a {Familiar Soul Pearl}, which can be consumed later for similar effects, or used as a material.
-----
Even more, Familiar Soul Pearls can be created to store effects for later, with this everyone could become much stronger, and I won't waste my energies as much either.
Due to the connection I have with this Skill and Emilia, I can also use it, naturally, at full power thanks to her, so not only she will be able to benefit, but me and everyone else.
However, this "full power" effect doesn't seem to affect the skills they received before, so only what they got now, unfortunately.
Ding!
[The unindentified {Bonded Neutonium Core: Patrick} has been upgraded and infused with a new Neutonium Ability!]
[The unindentified {Bonded Neutonium Core: Patrick} has gained the Neutonium Ability: [Familiar Multiplication]!]
As for Patrick, a simple yet vital Skill, Familiar Multiplication! For half the price, familiars can be summoned again as clones, multiplying rapidly. The more are multiplied at once, the more the Mana cost is cut, alongside Spirit Core cost.
It is the best Skill to reduce the cost of creating large armies, and it is what will make the entire strategy I've thought a reality.
Patrick will be multiplying familiars as he fights, and I will also do the same, we'll need to be doing this constantly to be able to hold against the Xenoids that will come.
-----
[Familiar Multiplication: Lv8]
Skill Proficiency: 0/80000
A Special Skill that only Summoners can learn, which allows the ability for the easy multiplication of already summoned Familiars.
By utilizing an already summoned Familiar as the base, you can multiply it based on the Skill Level, with the MP Cost being only 50% of the normal amount.
Additionally, this number of multiplied summons is independent from the total limit of summoned Familiars you can have at the same time.
Multiplied Summons Stats increase by +10%, with an additional +5% with each Skill Level (Current Bonus: +50%). The base Summon receives double these effects and is catalogued as the "Pack Leader" being capable of ordering any multiplied unit.
Fusion Familiars are not included until the Skill Level reaches 5.
Availability:
Level 1: Maximum Amount of Multiplied Summons per Familiar Type: 100.
Level 2: Maximum Amount of Multiplied Summons per Familiar Type: 200.
Level 3: Maximum Amount of Multiplied Summons per Familiar Type: 400.
Level 4: Maximum Amount of Multiplied Summons per Familiar Type: 800.
Level 5: Maximum Amount of Multiplied Summons per Familiar Type: 1600.
Level 6: Maximum Amount of Multiplied Summons per Familiar Type: 3200.
Level 7: Maximum Amount of Multiplied Summons per Familiar Type: 6400.
Level 8: Maximum Amount of Multiplied Summons per Familiar Type: 12800.
-----
Not only that, but as the Grimoire indicates with the Skill description at full detail, multiplied summons will receive bonus stats and also the original becomes a pack leader that can order other units, making things easier for me.
Ding!
[The unindentified {Bonded Neutonium Core: Hermes} has been upgraded and infused with a new Neutonium Ability!]
[The unindentified {Bonded Neutonium Core: Hermes} has gained the Neutonium Ability: [Summon Holy Spirit Of Blood]!]
And lastly, I decided to choose this Skill, as this will be the perfect opportunity for the Holy Spirit of Blood to grow, he'll be able to feast on millions of foes, the blood of Xenoids is also rich in special energies, which will make him grow to a tremendous size.
He will become an additional, impenetrable force in the battlefield that will also drag many foes towards him due to his massive size, making things easier on our side.
And if he dies, it doesn't matter, he can be resummoned as long as blood and mana is paid, which will be plentiful.
Another thing, with my power recovered and my vampiric abilities being back, I can also drink the blood of Xenoids to recover stamina and mana!
It'll make things much faster too.
"These Abilities sure are unique…" Emilia said. "So I can eat souls… that's creepy somewhat."
"I suppose so…" Patrick nodded. "Though I guess multiplying the familiars for you will be my job right? Not that hard."
"Yeah," I nodded. "It should be just that."
"W-What about me?" Hermes asked. "Blake what is this skill?"
"It'll let you summon a powerful being that will fight alongside us. It will drink the Xenoid's blood and become stronger like that," I explained. "This powerful being is… well, a supernatural being born from the power of our cores combined."
"That sounds fascinating, the abilities you possess are always surprising me…" Hermes said. "Just how can you do it?"
"Well, it is all about hard working and… perhaps luck," I said. "Whatever the case is, this is the only way we'll be able to survive and bring humanity to safety."
"I hope so…" Emilia gripped her fists tightly. "Well, we should go to the port earlier today, let's go met the rest of the pilots while we got time."
"Yeah, let's go." I nodded.
