Ultimate Choice System: I Became The Richest!

Chapter 153: Huge profits

David felt excitement surge, as he remembered the amount he counted earlier.

Taking a deep breath, he looked at Noah.

"We have made around $15,000 today!" A smile, he couldn't conceal plastered on his face.

Even Caroline, who already knew the amount from earlier showed shock again.

Emily was dumbstruck by the number.

"Dad, I think you added another zero by accident." She said, not believing what she was hearing.

David shook his head, the smile on his face widening.

"Nope, you heard it right. We made fifteen thousand dollars in one day!" He exclaimed, still not believing it.

"That's amazing Dad, but expect the number to only increase from now," Noah smiled.

David nodded, his expression filled with happiness.

"Indeed, Noah. This wouldn't have been possible without you," He said, a deep look forming on his face.

"Dad, this wouldn't have been possible without you guys either, stop giving me all the credit."

"To celebrate the amazing first day of opening, let's all eat at a restaurant. What do you guys think?"

"Yes!" Emily replied.

Caroline and David gave each other a nod and said.

"Sure, let's go."

Noah turned to Amelia, his eyes warm with sincerity. "Amelia, do you want to come eat with us?" he asked gently.

Amelia's smile wavered for a moment as she shook her head, clearly shy.

"It's okay, you all should enjoy yourselves as a family. I'll just call a driver to come pick me up — don't worry about me," she assured, her voice soft.

Before Noah could respond, Caroline stepped forward, taking Amelia's hands in hers with a warm, maternal grip.

"Don't say that, Amelia. You're part of the family now."

Emily chimed in as well, her little hands tugging at Amelia's dress, her face pleading. "Yes, Sister Amelia, please come with us!"

Amelia hesitated, her gaze flickering between Caroline's encouraging smile and Emily's wide, hopeful eyes.

She felt the warmth of their invitation wrapping around her, softening her resolve, but still, she hesitated, wondering if she was intruding.

Just as she was about to respond, Noah stepped forward gently.

Without a word, he reached out, his hand wrapping around hers in a strong but soft grip. His fingers were warm, strong, and grounding, and as he gently pulled her toward the car, Amelia felt her heart skip a beat.

"Let's go." He said, not looking back.

In that instant, memories flooded her mind — the day she'd first met him when he had saved her from the kidnappers.

She remembered the terror she'd felt then, the feeling of helplessness that had overwhelmed her as she was surrounded by people with ill intentions. And then, in the middle of that nightmare, Noah had appeared.

She could still recall everything in that incident, the way he had scooped her up onto his back, carrying her down that empty road.

Amelia's gaze fell to their intertwined hands, and she could feel a blush heating her cheeks as she remembered how, despite everything, he'd only shown her kindness.

At that moment, as he held her hand and guided her forward with that same gentle strength, she felt the same overwhelming sense of safety. He could have had any intention in that moment of vulnerability, yet he'd shown her nothing but respect.

The softness of his grip now was a silent show of his protectiveness, reminding her of last time.

Lost in these thoughts, Amelia barely noticed the chuckle from Caroline, who watched them with an approving smile, her eyes crinkling as she nudged David.

"That's our son," she whispered, a look of pride lighting her face. Continue your adventure with empire

David nodded a small smile on his face. "He's definitely grown up," he murmured in return, glancing at the blush that lingered on Amelia's cheeks as Noah continued to lead her toward the car.

Amelia felt a rush of emotions swirling within her, a mixture of shyness, gratitude, and something softer, deeper, that she wasn't quite ready to name.

As they reached the car, she stole a glance up at Noah, her heart beating wildly as he met her gaze with an easy smile, as if this was the most natural thing in the world.

"Come on, Amelia," he said softly, his hand still in hers. "Let's celebrate together."

She nodded, finding her voice as she managed a quiet, "Thank you, Noah," before slipping into the car with the rest of his family.

Inside, Emily snuggled close to her, beaming with happiness, while Caroline and David exchanged smiles.

As Noah drove away from the teahouse, Amelia's heart finally began to calm down, her nervousness melting into happiness.

The family decided to eat An's gourmet, because of the perks Caroline had for working there.

Arriving at the restaurant, George served them.

"Welcome!" He smiled, as he led them to the VIP seats.

"How is everyone doing?" George said with a smile, asking about his friend's family.

"Everything is going great, you need to visit our teahouse one day. We opened it today as you know, so try to come by when you are free."

"Of course, Aiden told me already too. I heard it was amazing, many people came." George nodded.

"Yes, thanks to god's plan and Noah's work." David chuckled.

"That's good." George glanced at his boss, Noah.

After talking for a few minutes, George asked if they would like to order now or if they needed some time.

"We will order in 5 minutes, thank you, George." David said, "You don't have to worry about us, I'm sure you are busy."

"What are you saying, it's my job. Of course, I will give you more priority." He smiled.

As he left them to discuss their order, he smiled.

'Do you think I have a choice, your son is the literal boss of the place.'

"If I don't prioritise serving him and his family, then I deserve to be served the cold dish of being fired'

He thought, shaking his head.

...

"Are the VIP seats part of your perks Caroline?" David asked curious.

She hesitated for a second then shook her head.

"I'm not sure, but it seems like it."
