Chapter 192: chapter 191

Hou gained a flash of lucidity and in that second he awoke Yue properly and fought against the intention.

From the outside, Tianmo went from screaming as he saw Hou's body unravel to a fascinating hypnotic trance as he watched Hou regain control.

Yue woke up and pulled all of his consciousness to fighting against the intention, it seemed to completely fractured his mind. He could barely think but with the reduced facilities he had he had a singular focus.

He used the concentration he could muster in order to stitch back to Celestial Law Amplifying Physique. The physique was created already, it was never MEANT to be.

This meant that when the consciousness that was holding it together was 'attacked' it started to unravel again.

Yue first coalesced the Celestial Ink that started to seep out into the world, the body began taking a solid form once more.

The illusory and transparent galaxies compressed and started to slowly form back into something one could call human.

However at the same time the biggest brunt of the 'attack' was being fought by Hou, he was the one Tianmo intended to give the intention to and so got the largest part of it.

Inside his consciousness, Hou was trying to bring himself into an equilibrium. He was feeling fractured, with an insane cacophony of different thoughts contradicting themselves in his head.

In a completely different place, Hamar was meditating normally when suddenly...He was attacked. He brain began fracturing lightly and ramblings overtook him.

He forgot what he was doing and the mana he was absorbing burst out of his body before it turned into aura.

As it burst out, a sharp pain caused Hamar to gain some lucidity. In that split second he created a plan...a countermeasure.

He didn't know what was happening, nor did he know how but he did know one thing...he knew how to control his mind.

Before he lost the thought, he stood up and held out his sword.

Swish.

He swung the sword and in that moment his consciousness stabilised, this was because in doing swordsmanship he placed all of his attention on the blade.

No matter what fracturing of the mind was happening each part of himself was still 'him', and each part focused entirely on the blade.

Slowly as he continued to swing, moving in a familiar training pattern the different splintered thoughts converged. The good, the bad, the correct, the wrong, the dark, the mysterious, all the different splinters merged.

While Hamar easily blocked the small amount of the intention which went through their link, Hou was still in danger. He couldn't stop it, the few moments of lucidity he had were too short.

He had the strongest intention on him and his mind was fractured, his memories and sea of consciousness turning from a calm ocean into a stormy night.

His mind was constantly turning from happy to sad, distraught, to hope, confusion to complete lucidity. His mind was not able to stabilise and he did not have anything to help him.

Just as his mind was fracturing at a deeper level, one which might not have been able to reform, he had one thought which flashed by and overtook him.

In his deep consciousness there was a huge amount of experiences and yet just one small thought went into his mental energy and that thought, that small thought...it won against all.

Hou's mind started to form together, thoughts becoming stable and controllable. He mumbled something as he regained control, "Hope..."

Hou's body was completely stabilised already from Yue's hard work, his mind was relatively simple and he solved his problem. Then Hou sat up and as he opened his eyes, inside his mind his willpower settled.

He opened his eyes and saw Tianmo looking at him wide-eyed, "Thank you..." Hou placed his hand on Tianmo's shoulder and brought him to a standing position.

Tianmo muttered one thing, "Who- no, WHAT are you?" he tried to shake Hou's hand of him but Hou did not let go.

Hou calmly walked him over to the door, "...I might ask later but I had a breakthrough, allow me to work on it myself."

Tianmo was speechless and without saying a thing more he opened the door and left, all the while his mind ran with thoughts, thoughts about what he saw. Just like that Hou was left alone in his room and he stared at his hand in new light.

"Split!"

His crushed his hand into a fist and as he did he used an intention and mental technique he gathered from Tianmo's help. His mind splintered in a controlled manor and he felt the two pieces were separate but one.

With one 'side' he looked into the astral world and began working on magic, with the other he controlled his laws.

The two pieces of him were working together and the magic could help the laws, the laws help the magic.

Magic controlled laws, laws were controlled; cultivation and magic were not incompatible, in fact they were very much similar in purpose but different in execution.

He held out a small flame, and without using many fire laws, Hou's mind was already using magic and when it activated a flush of mana went into the world.

The mana speed back into the world in a certain magical circle and the laws were twisted and contorted in order to make the small flame into a miniature sun.

Hou smiled and then clasped the 'sun' in his hand and then looked into himself. He had a large amount of 'sun' laws, not just fire.

With this in mind he used the attractive quality of the Celestial Law Amplifying Physique and amplified the effect of laws converging.

The sun laws within him pulled the miniature sun towards him and as he started cultivating on his own creation he absorbed more laws than he put in.

Hou's eyes widened as he realised how he could use magic like this, he could have done this before but...he just didn't think if it.

But when his mind was fracturing a thousand different thoughts all crashed and within that chaos brilliance could be found.

'I can turn mana into more laws through using magic to manipulate laws to a favourable way for me...'
