"Did you find the kids?" Winter asked as soon as she got the call. The judge had said that he would meet them at the farm, but it seemed like there was a change in plans.

"I found them. They are in the basement of the TrustMed company. Don't take the elevators, take the stairs. And be careful on your way. I think the doctor already knows that I'm here," Valentin said.

"We'll be here asap. Please be careful."

At the same time, Dr. Milo was admiring the tall tanks installed in his new laboratory. He had constructed a secret laboratory behind his office. The walls were also equipped with the best soundproofing material. No one would be able to bother him when he starts his experiments. He finally got out of the secret room after 15 minutes.

The doctor sat in his office chair and opened the security cameras tab for the basement on his computer. He wanted to see how his test subjects were doing.

"That's weird. Why are the screens all black?" Dr. Milo murmured.

He watched more closely and realized that the cages were gone, and the kids were gone too. Where could they have gone? It's not like they could have escaped by themselves. There was only one explanation: someone had found them in the basement.

"Kaito, let's go," Dr. Milo ordered. The doll in a black robe activated its skill, and they disappeared from the office.

As the minutes passed, Valentin was getting more and more anxious. He was sure that the doctor had been monitoring the kids. If they were lucky, Nikolai and Winter would arrive first, but if they weren't, the doctor would arrive first.

Suddenly, a purple gate that seemed to distort the space appeared in the parking lot. Then, two figures walked out of that gate.

"Shit," Valentin murmured as he hugged the kids closer, hoping that the doctor wouldn't see them.

"My, my, what a surprise," Dr. Milo exclaimed as he saw Valentin. He didn't expect to see the young master of the Vronsky family to be here. He had seen him through the camera footage of one of the villages he owned. But he thought that it was just a coincidence that he had met with Winter and Nikolai. Why would a rich kid like him be associated with assassins? It seems like he was wrong; Valentin was indeed working with his old test subjects.

Seeing the doctor coming closer, Valentin hid the children behind his back. Some of the kids started to cry seeing the scary black figure that had kidnapped them and the scary white robed man. It was as if they remembered that they were kidnapped.

"You shouldn't come any closer," Valentin warned.

The doctor stopped in his tracks; he didn't want to upset the young master. After all, Valentin was a renowned judge and had a high status. If something were to happen to him, the Vronsky family would be hard to deal with.

"Why don't you join me, my friend? We can make this world a better place!" Dr. Milo exclaimed. His eyes revealed craziness.

Valentin spat on the asphalt ground and snapped, "Don't disgust me. You killed all those kids just for your selfish ambitions. You are a murderer."

Dr. Milo laughed and shook his head. It seemed that no one understood him. What's wrong with experiments? Don't all humans want to be stronger? He knew that a lot of people would beg him to give them superpowers. Once he developed a drug that didn't have side effects, the rich people would surely flock to him. But he will keep the best drug for himself so that he can be the master of the planet.

"Well, if you don't join me, I'll have to get rid of you," Dr. Milo said regrettably. Once he gets more powerful, not even the Vronsky family can touch him.

Suddenly, the door leading to the basement blasted off as the door's residue spread on the ground. Winter and Nikolai finally arrived. They had left the other assassins with the children. Since they didn't have any superpowers, they would only get in the way of their fights.

Valentin sighed in relief; they had just arrived on time.

"My, my, who do we have here? Aren't these my test subjects?" Dr. Milo snickered. Did they think that they could beat him with that little manpower? It seems like he was underestimated.

"Kaito, open the gate," the doctor ordered.

Two tall figures walked out of the gate. Sensing the dangerous aura, Winter and Nikolai instinctively retreated backwards.

"These two are my proudest creations. Let's see which of my test subjects is stronger," Dr. Milo said.

Winter and Nikolai sweated hard; they knew that they were no match for their opponents. It's as if they were more experienced in killing than they were. Their guesses were right; there were other villages, and they weren't the only ones captured to be experimented on.

"You shouldn't have come to hinder the doctor's experiments. It will be your deathbed today," the female assassin said.

Her white dress was decorated with plants, and her eyes were covered by a blindfold made out of leaves. Vines twirled around her legs and her arms, alive and ready to attack. She was cold but elegant. Her name was Ayame, and she was one of the two survivors of the village.

"Did you also come from the village?" Winter asked cautiously. She wanted to know if there were other people like her. Winter never imagined that she was only part of a small, remote village.

Ayame grimaced at the word 'village'; she hated that place. If she weren't controlled by a chip inside her brain, she would've killed the doctor already. The doctor threatened them to do what he asked, or else their brains would blast off.

"You are lucky that you didn't end up in our village," Ayame said.
