Transmigrated As A Villain, The Heroines Are Also Regressors?

Chapter 19: For Free?

"Hey! Where the hell is the seller for The Imperial Inkstone of Prosperity at? You better reveal yourself right now!"

While everyone in the Pavilion was getting ready to leave and or wrap things up, Ronald's furious shouting could be heard throughout the entire venue, everyone to stop in their tracks and look towards Ronald's booth.

"I'm terribly sorry Young Master Kuangge, but there's a good explanation fo-" Before one of the beautiful female staff could even finish speaking, she was quickly interrupted by Ronald.

"I don't want to hear what kind of shitty excuses you have saved up for me! Either you bring out the seller right now or I burn this shitty Pavilion to the ground!" Ronald shouted in an even more aggravated tone towards the female staff.

How was he supposed to actually finish completing this shitty Pavilion plot if he doesn't have a bidding war with Ye Fan and get humiliated afterwards?

If he had gotten kicked out by Li Wanruo before the second section of the Pavilion had actually started, then it wouldn't of matter as much since he would've had 'officially' completed the Pavilion plot by getting face slapped by both Ye Fan and Li Wanruo.

Just before the female staff could respond back however...

"There's no need for that, Master Kuangge." Li Wanruo's cold tone suddenly echoed seemingly out of nowhere, and before anyone even knew it, she was seen in the center of the Pavilion again...

And the aura she was emitting out now was so much more domineering and ruthless compared to before that some of the attendees who haven't seen this side of her yet couldn't help but faint.

It was very clear to everyone that Li Wanruo was definitely much more upset now compared to before.

Everyone who was still able to keep a cool head though even after feeling Li Wanruo's bloodthirsty aura began speculating what had changed during the span of a few hours, and eventually, they all came to the conclusion of one thing, and one thing only.

It's all because of Ronald Kuangge.

That's right, although nobody was exactly sure why she's just now showing her disdain for him now and not back when he practically insulted her Pavilion, it was clear that she was finally going to do something about his attitude.

Even both Ye Fan and Ronald thought this to be the case, and they were both cheering in their hearts.

Especially Ye Fan, who wanted to see Ronald suffer 10 times the humuliation he had suffered both yesterday and today.

"Oh? And why's that? I wasted my entire day trying to find the seller thanks to your shitty Pavilion!" Even though Ronald tried his best to hide the relieved look on his face, a subtle smirk still couldn't help but come out.

After all, how could he not be happy knowing that the plot was actually still most likely on track and sooner or later he'll get face slapped?

'Knowing her personality, there's no way she was going to let me go after everything I've done today. She must've wanted to wait until the event was over so that she can beat me senselessly without much prying eyes.'

Unfortunately, his assumptions were dead wrong, and he immediately frowned the moment he heard her next reply.

"I know, and I deeply apologize for making you wait that long, Master Kuangge. It just took us longer than expected to negotiate a deal with the party selling the inkstone, but fortunately we managed to come to an agreement at the end. Please take it for free as well as another item as an apology for one of my maid's insolent manners today." Li Wanruo then signaled two of the maids to come out from behind the staff area and handed to Ronald both the painting and a normal looking steel sword that had random giberish engraved on the blade of the sword.

"Do you want me to get someone to deliver these to your house?"

Looking at the sword that one of the maids was holding, although Ronald got kicked out from the Pavilion in his previous life before he was able to see what the weapon looked like, he knew in an instant that this was the weapon Ye Fan had originally visited the Pavilion for.

'Wait a second, why is she giving me these things for free?' Ronald didn't even try to hide the confused look in his face, he really didn't understand why Li Wanruo would go this far for him.

He really wanted to pry open her head right now and see what was going on inside her brain.

But after thinking about it logically, Ronald had came to a possible conclusion that Ye Fan and Li Wanruo had teamed up in advance in order to beat him up.

It may not sound logical at first, especially with how Li Wanruo had treated Ye Fan a couple of hours before, however, given the sheer influence that the Kuangge family had and her overall personality, Li Wanruo must've wanted to pretend to care about him on the surface while secretly conspiring with Ye Fan behind the scenes to have him beaten up, thereby completely leaving the Li family out of the crossfire.

Plus the system had told him that the heroines had started thinking for themselves this time around.

Although Ronald didn't like the sudden change to the plot, he didn't really mind as long as he can complete the plot.

Looking at the confused look that Ronald had on his face, the corners of Li Wanruo's mouth slightly raised up.

She wanted to show Ronald her sincerity and prevent Ronald from getting face slapped.

While she knew that Ronald on the outside seemed like he didn't care about the face slap he was receiving every so often in the previous life, she knew that inside of him he was hurt and saddened by it.

But in order to try and protect herself and everyone else that Ye Fan had cooperated with, he decided to throw away his pride as the Young Master of the Kuangge family.

So Li Wanruo wanted to help out Ronald at all costs, with the first steps being to give the inkstone to him for free and saving him the humiliation that had occured in her previous life.

As for the sword, even though she still kept her knowledge of her past life, she still didn't understand the effects this sword had, but since Ye Fan wanted it, she won't let him have it.

At this time, Ye Fan, who was currently on the sidelines, clenched his fists.

Not only did Li Wanruo not humiliate Ronald just like he had originally expected, but she also handed him the weapon that he had originally came here for!

Like why give him that weapon of all things?!

Ye Fan really wanted to just cause a ruckus and murder Ronald right here and now, but after realizing that Li Wanruo's killing intent was actually directed towards him judging by the way she was briefly glancing at him every so often, he decided to hold back.

Besides, even if Li Wanruo wasn't breathing down his neck right now, he still wouldn't be able to murder Ronald right now without getting constantly hunted down since he had no influence or connections in China at the moment.

Regardless, he still has to get his hands on the engraved sword at all costs.

Ye Fan then suddenly realized that he had actually managed to get Iris to stay by Ronald's side.

So he decided he was going to send her a text message later to tell her to secretly deliver the weapon to him the moment she gets her hands on it.

After Ronald had concluded that Ye Fan and Li Wanruo was teaming up with each other, he didn't hide his inner feelings and started laughing.

"Hahaha, no need. I'll tell the maid that you had also handed over to me to bring it back home. Thanks to you, my Luna will definitely be happy with this gift!" Ronald ordered Iris to take the items and then he turned to the crowds.

"Do you guys see the almighty power of the Kuangge family? This should be an eye opener to you guys to never offend the Kuangge family, otherwise you'll get what's coming to you." In order to maintain being a brainless villain, Ronald told the crowd and smiled arrogantly.

After seeing everyone's gloomy faces, Ronald was satisfied with the outcome and knew that Li Wanruo would also get more pissed off after seeing her own guests become depressed in her own Pavilion.

So without even bothering to look back at Li Wanruo, Ronald started heading towards the exit of the Pavilion.

Just as he was about to step foot out of the Pavilion however...

"Wait! Young Master Kuangge! Can you give me your phone number?" While Li Wanruo was still immersed at staring at Ronald's face and figure, she realized that he was actually about to leave the Pavilion so she ran up to him just as he was about to leave the premises and hurriedly spoke softly while looking down and blushing.

"Huh? Can you say that again?" Ronald slowly turned back and wanted to make sure that his ears wasn't decieving him.

'Phone number? Why the hell would she want my phone number?'

'I must've heard it wrong.'

'Yeah that's it, I must just be tired from the plot acting weird lately.'
