To be a Viltrumite (Dc)

Chapter 11: A lantern(700 stone speical)

We meet in an explosion. The brief clash of strength emerges with me Victorious as I yell in exhilaration.

"Haaaaa!"

I slam the Tech jacket beneath me. The suit audibly groans as I press my foot into the general's chest.

His helmet breaks open. Exposing his Viltrumiteoid-looking face with green skin and red hair.

I move backwards at inhuman speeds to avoid his suit rejecting him. Clearly a lethal measure.

Staring at the fallen general. Now without his suit leaning into a tree, I slowly float over him. He glares hard.

"Any last words?" I ask seriously. The General laughs coldly.

"Just get it over with Viltrumite scum..."

I move to obey. But just as I'm about to cave his head in with a kick. My vision is blinded by a green light.

Wincing at the bright light I flinch away as bit as an unfamiliar voice reaches my ears. When my vision clears I find a green ring floating in front of the fallen general

*General Razak of the Gelderian race, Sector 5543. You have shown the ability to overcome great fear-* The ring slips onto the general's hand and his body glows in a bright green light.

*Welcome to the green lanterns corps*

I feel my eyes widen. The General once defeated Laughs. A pure joyful laugh.

His face splits into a bloody grin despite his injuries he stands tall his feet leaving. His much more fragile body was now covered in the familiar get-up of a typical green lantern. He shines a bright green indicating his willpower.

The ring suddenly shoots out a light that scans me. I flinch a bit in weariness.

*Scan complete! Viltrumite detected! Guardians have permitted lethal measures!* The ring says robotically.

Immediately I move. My face was deathly serious as I went to slam a punch right through the general.

But a large green shield blocks me. I slam my hand into it full force and feel my eyes widen. It cracked a bit but the fact that it withstood my full force.

The shield shifts into a laser weapon as I begin dodging numerous green bullets. The General seems to immediately adapt to his new abilities as a lantern as he follows after me with his much more polished flight.

I fly high. Then drop my flight. Maneuvering around the attacks only to barely block a massive fist of green energy before a hand emerges from the ground trying to grab me.

I use my speed to dance between his attacks. I punch through a wall of spikes. Full force. Now with my momentum built up from flying the wall shatters but the general is still on me.

He's getting better and faster. I stop my flight as the attacks halt. The man looks focused. I move to stop whatever he has planned but as my fist reaches him it impacts a translucent green armor.

I blink rapidly. Did he just remake his armor? Cape and all? That's uncreative.

"Did you just remake that armor of yours? You have the strongest weapon in the universe and you're just recreating the armor that failed you?" I ask a bit baffled.

"Oh, you dumb Viltrumite. With this ring! I can make things out of imagination! My jacket was powerful but had its limit. With this ring, I can make it perfect!"

As if to prove his point the armor shifts and a massive cannon emerges from his back. I barely blitz around the beam of light only to catch a punch to the face.

I groan in pain as I skip along the ground before catching myself with my flight and flying towards the new lantern.

Just as I'm about to punch him he raises his hand and I'm encased in a bubble. I growl in annoyance. And begin punching. But he seems to add another layer after another.

The bubble slowly begins to close around me. I hear the general's voice speak mockingly.

"I can't suffocate you. But I sure as hell can crush you!"

I feel my body move with renewed vigor. My punches become blurs as I slowly shatter the bubble layers as it slowly shrinks on me.

With a Yell I let out a huge punch that breaks every layer it shatters around me like glass. The shards of the bubble remain floating around me before the general squeezes his ring-clad hand closed.

The shards around me shine brighter before exploding. I growl in annoyance and emerge from the explosion. Blasting right toward the general.

Blood cakes my face entirely. My entire head has small cuts now that bleed a bit. My mind focused solely on the fight as the general met me head-on.

He laughs heartily as he begins to overpower me in exchange. The ring gives him too many advantages. I block his physical attacks? He makes a third limb appear out of nowhere and punches me in my unguarded face or body

I block his third limb? He makes a fourth.

Growing a bit frustrated. I forget restraint and use my speed to close the distance this time not caring about the consequences as I use my speed I typically reserve for space travel.

He reacts to the impossible speeds but it's futile. With the speed, my momentum empowered my punch as I slammed through his hastily raised construct. My fist impacts his guarded face sending him blasting through a distant mountain.

"How'd that feel?" I mutter. Annoyed. He's got way too many hax with that damn ring.

My musing is interrupted by the mountain being destroyed in an explosion of green as I prepare myself.

The general emerges. The armor he manifested around his face cracked like ruined glass before he seemed to repair it. I can see his nose spilling blood. Making me smile as he snaps his hand and numerous laser guns numbering in the thousands emerge behind him.

They all shoot at me rapidly. But I've had enough of dodging. Taking a page out of my sperm donor's book. I shoot right towards the lantern. Ignoring the green bullets that impact me hard. But the pain is worth it as I wrench my hand right through the lantern's gut.

Blood coats my hand. Which was already soaked as I smirked. He got too arrogant with his new power. But doesn't realize his former armor was more durable than his lantern constructs. And thought he could tank my blows.

Now he's impaled on my arm. I watch as the life in his eyes dims but he yells in defiance and wrenches my arm from his gut.

I blink as suddenly I'm flashbannged. Yelling in pain I reach for my eyes. I immediately move defensively expecting an attack but when my vision clears the general is gone.

I finally notice my exhaustion as I realize I'm no longer in danger. Breathing out heavily out of habit rather than necessity. I clench my aching ribs

"Fuck..."

I floated over the remnants of the ruined city from when I first arrived on this planet. I look down at the ruined utopia with contemplation.

Did I even cause all this damage? Most of this happened when the general and his students attacked me... so no?

I hear a woosh. And spot Ursall. She looks exhausted. Blood was also coating her hands. Her royal red clothing was a bit destroyed. Giving me a view that makes me blush a bit as I avert my eyes. Blood pools on her forehead but she looks at me with concern.

"It's good to see you've won your battle as well," Ursall mutters as she looks in the direction of the two corpses from way earlier.

"They sent only 2?" Ursall mutters in confusion as I shake my head.

"There were five. The other three were saved by a general. They flew off. I clashed with the general and won before he was chosen by the lantern corps and ran off." I give her the rundown immediately.

Ursall blinks rapidly. Clearly disbelief on her face before she nods.

"You're even more impressive than I've ever thought before Vergil. And you're so young. Maybe one day you might even be a match for my father. Especially at this rate."

I nod. Thoughts for the future. My mind running through the fights I had over and over to see how i could've done better, reflection helps me remain calm.

Ignoring Ursalls wandering gaze on my body. I slowly land atop a building and sit on my ass. Wincing in pain at the numerous bruises littering my body.

"Damn lantern..."
