Chapter 7: Chapter 6: Demon Slayers?
Inside the Kamado house, Yiggrit could feel in his body that things were about to get real, and though he knew it would be a task beyond his current abilities, he had no intention of giving up or turning back, after all, he had so much more to do and accomplish then this small Demon King.
"You FOOL!" The scream could be heard throughout and the source was clear to the blue-haired young man.
In a smoking Circe where the snow had long melted stood a man whose charred body was ultimately just as expected not enough to end him.
Muzan's body quickly regenerated back to its proper state, but his clothes were burned, and reduced to chunks of his shirt, and tattered pants.
Rage was evident on his face as veins formed on his forehead head and he gritted his teeth, while clenching his fists on a trembling body, his nails digging so deep into his hand that blood began to drip out.
In an instant, he appeared in front of the Kamado house, pointed his hand at it, and from it, a mouth formed. As soon as it opened, a light built up in it, before a shockwave impact was released breaking apart half of the house in one blow.
Caught in the attack, Yiggrit was sent flying passing through the remaining walls and being flung even further as he bounced off the ground tree after tree scattered by his body.
Cough cough
Blood splurged from his mouth as the aching in his body spread like a tumor crawling its way through, almost like millions of live ants were set free under his skin.
There was a ringing in his ears and his vision had blurred, nothing felt right, proper, as even nausea was making its way to his mind.
(Damn! I don't think I've been hit this hard, since Master… But even then, Master was severely holding back to avoid putting me in this state… I admit, I looked down on Muzan a little bit, but that's what he gets for being a weak villain.) Yiggrit groaned in pain trying to get up, as his body failed to keep up.
"F*ck! This will look horrible on my tyrant resume… Oh well, lose today to win tomorrow!" He managed to get to his knees as he talked, trying to distract himself from the pain.
Just then he was stomped on by Muzan, pushing him into the ground hard enough that it cracked until a crater was formed.
"What a joke. This is what you think is enough to face me?! A few celebration trinkets? Come on, I know you're a fool, but this level of ignorance doesn't suit someone who managed to incur this much anger from me!" The Demon King commented picking him up as he spoke to the limp blue-haired young man.
"You do realize… I still haven't told you anything…" Yiggrit pushed himself to smile even though his whole body begged for rest.
"No fear? Your level of foolishness keeps surprising me, never in a millennium have I met someone this stubbornly idiotic. Do you truly believe you can hold this off me? Well, then let me show you just how wrong you are." Muzan throws him into the air and then grabs his leg before slamming him into the ground again.
Slowly but surely healing, his body was broken down again, and some bones were likely moved off the spot.
This was followed by Muzan dragging him through the snow before it became a race, and his face was shaved off on the ground, flesh peeling off as the blood drizzled all over.
(I'm weak… right, I know I am… But when I'm strong enough, you'll pay for every second of this. I'm even trying to avoid using Gate as much as possible since I can only open 1 complete portal right now.
(I need to save it for a case where I'm about to die, cause if I use too much he'll start taking it seriously… and stop me before I can.) Yiggrit was in great pain his muscles contorting and contracting in pulses, but he never stopped thinking.
Only to once again get sent flying through wall after wall, for seconds on end, before stopping on the ground.
(Does he plan to keep throwing me around and beating me up until I speak? Terrible plan.
(Though I wonder if I should use flesh control to stitch myself up, however, that would only annoy the bastard further, and he might just accidentally kill me in his rage.) Yiggrit thought to himself before he could even understand where he was anymore.
Around him stood familiar structures, buildings made of wood in a particular style, one he had grown accustomed to, broken down into the ground.
Blood could be found in corners all around meshed with pieces of bone, muscle, skin, and other organic tissue.
In a bit of time, he was recovering, allowing his regeneration to take over, the village he lived in for the past week was massacred, and there were already a few survivors doing their best to not be noticed, to run, to hide, but it was pointless, anyone and anything in his path was destroyed.
No second or anything of the sort, they weren't what he needed, so he would just dispose of them.
For the simple fact that Yiggrit had annoyed him, to Demon King Muzan all these lives, their homes, and livelihoods meant nothing, maybe even less than that.
In reality, there was no need for anger for such an outcome, were his whim to do so, the same would have taken place, but normally there was no reason for a man of his stature to waste time crushing bugs.
"Do you hear their screams?! I allowed them to survive just a little longer so that you could hear them, but I know this isn't what you care about, and I have found them and sent you right to them. Once I get there, it's over, you'll have to talk, that's the price of your arrogance in your weakness." The voice was calm, not indifferent to everything going on, Muzan already knew what he would do, simply he had made a game out of it.
Maybe it was simply pettiness for being tricked or an extension of his demonic nature, whatever the case, Muzan was playing with him.
"Yiggrit! Are you alright?!" A voice he was growing used to rang in his dizzy head, as Tanjiro came up to his body.
(Here?! So that bastard threw me at my house? Is he trying to make me despair?… Muzan, it seems you misunderstood me… I would love to save the Kamado and conquer the ladies, but you can't break me like this.) The blue-haired young man thought to himself, ignoring his own heavily damaged body.
Parts bending in ways they should not, bones broken, muscles torn, constant pain, and a mind stuck in confusion mode.
"Arghhgh…" Yiggrit tried to speak but found himself incapable as the damage to his throat and what was found there only allowed a groan and blood to escape him.
"Good heavens! That's…" Kie vomited upon coming in to see his state.
While Nezuko stood silent in pure shock, she couldn't say anything even if she wanted to.
At the same time, the kids were kept in the other room of the house, basically one of the few rooms still standing in the entire village, if such a pile of rubble and corpses could even be called that anymore.
"Let me help you! We can still get out of here!" Tanjiro got closer to try and lift him, so they could all escape together.
The screams in the background go quiet for a moment right then, before he can touch Yiggrit, the red-haired young man is raised from the ground, his neck grasped from behind by a single hand holding him into a choke.
"Arrrrgghh…." Tanjiro attempted to free himself but it was futile.
Muzan had gotten ahold of him.
"So, this is where you hid them? That blood art of yours has had me curious from the beginning, but clearly, it has a lot of limitations, or this conversation would not be happening at all." Despite holding him with a vice grip, the Demon King talked through Tanjiro as if he wasn't there at all.
Watching this unfold Kie's first reaction was to grab the nearest object, and run to attack him, hitting Muzan over and over with a pan, doing absolutely nothing, not even the strength of a mother desperate to save her child, could help her.
"Let go of my brother! You monster! You demon!" Nezuko yelled not knowing what to do, so she went to the kitchen.
"Look at all of this, pointless desperation, useless fighting, and all the annoying screaming, this is the price of mortality and weakness. That's why I refuse to stay human in any way, I abandoned all that, I only have one thread left to break, one.
"If anything that would make me much more holy than anything else in this world, but humans fear what they don't understand, and thus I am a demon. No, The Demon King, a living natural disaster, the will of the natural world incarnate! I exist above and beyond all you humans." Muzan said his free hand pointing at the room or what's left of what was once the living room in Yiggrit's house.
As he was slowly healing on the ground, the blue-haired young man could not do too much but listen.
(Kara, If he tries to kill Kie or Nezuku, open a gate below them, to send them back up the mountain. If he tries to kill both at the same time, open a gate under him. Oh, and get the kids off while you have time too.
(Finally, if he tries to kill Tanjiro, open the gate under him as well. Better safe than sorry, he might dodge the gate under him, so let's set an order of priority here.) Yiggrit commanded her.
[As you wish, challenger.] Karasi replied.
"You're quite the mystery, I'm not sure just how much of a demon you are, your regeneration might've not been there as well from how weak it is, I have seen you, manip your body, but how far can you go? Make a new mouth and answer me or I'll break your precious little toys." Muzan tightened the grip on Tanjiro as he spoke his sharp nails digging into the boy's neck.
(Where are the damn Demon slayers?! I have stalled enough… Ok, I better say something before he makes me fail my quest, oh and I guess save Tanjiro too.) Yiggrit sighed internally frustrated that things had gotten this bad and no support.
Just then before he could react, Muzan tried to eliminate Kie to make his point, but Karasi was faster and opened the gate below her standing her in safety, and then did the same for the kids, after closing the gate right there.
In response, he pumped Tanjiro with his demon blood.
"Still trying to get resist?! I should end you, but no. I'll instead make hell for you." Muzan concluded with a dastardly smile.
At that time, Nezuko came back from the kitchen carrying a bottle in one hand and matches in the other, with a thick knife's handle in her mouth.
Once she was close to Muzan she threw oil at him and set him on fire using a match, before grabbing the knife and swinging at his arm holding Tanjiro, to no effect.
This resulted in her being grabbed by the neck as well, while Muzan had his torso and head on fire.
"You insufferable cretins! Do you not understand the ideas of fear, danger, or survival?!" Muzan asked them as he held them in place, before letting go of Tanjiro, as if he was done with him, and turning his attention to Nezuko.
Before Muzan could put his claws into Nezuko's neck as well, a gate was opened under him, and he fell into it.
Once the portal was closed, it was not long before…
BOOM!
A massive succession of explosions and colors took place, one much bigger than the previous one, as the now set on fire Muzan was dropped into the fireworks shop, even though broken like many other structures in the village still contained tons of gunpowder and fireworks.
Explosion after explosion, it was a marvel to witness.
Muzan's severed hand from the portal closing Let go of Nezuko's neck after the main body took some damage, she immediately ran to her unconscious brother, knife still in hand.
"Tanjiro?! Are you ok?" She shook his body trying to wake him up.
Her wish then came true, and Tanjiro pounced her into the ground as he attempted to bite her, and she stopped him with the knife of which he was now biting the blade, as he pushed to get to her, veins visible all over his face.
"Tanjiro! Please get ahold of yourself! It's me! Nezuko, your sister! Please!" Nezuko pleaded and there was a slight hesitation from him before he jumped off her.
Grabbing his head, Tanjiro began hitting and scratching himself with his demon nails cutting up wounds that would heal right after. It was as if he was fighting himself.
(Ok, things turned out… differently… for a second there I thought both siblings would become demons, but I guess not… then again, maybe at some point I'll be able to make demons of my own… though that was only possible for Muzan and Rui before it was part of their blood art, so my only option is…) Yiggrit thought and as he came to a conclusion his eyes centered on the severed Muzan hand shaking on the ground.
Using his body control, and flesh control, he made two extra arms and used them to carry himself by hand walking to the hand, then making a mouth in one of the hands, and consuming Muzan's hand.
At least most of it, as he left behind the fingers and then grabbed the fully unwrapped as all the cloth around it got destroyed, however, Voulge currently looked normal, or it did before Yiggrit let it take its true form before allowing it to eat Muzanʼs five fingers.
"Tanjiro?…" Nezuko was focused on her brother trying to reach him once more.
This attempt was rejected as the red-haired young man jumped to create some distance between them.
He looked at his sister as he kept taking steps back as if he was afraid to be near her.
"Don't worry, you are fine, it's ok. I know you won't hurt me." Without hesitation, Nezuko closed the distance between them to hug him, tears flowing down her face.
In response, Tanjiro was also filled with the same feelings and joined her in tears of his own.
At the same time.
[Challenger, due to the consumption of part of a higher-ranking individual, level 80 Demon King Muzan(suppressed/normal form), you and Voulge are going to experience a mutation.] Karasi announced her voice clear in his head.
(That sounds great… but it won't matter much if those bastards don't get here… Better look normal to avoid trouble anyway.) Yiggrit smiled at the notification but soon felt it would be pointless if he didn't make it through today.
Letting himself lie on the ground like before with Voulge assuming it's normal form to hide its demonic nature.
The piece didn't last as Tanjiro pushed Nezuko to ground the ground pinning her down to once more, right before the rest of the house was blown out of the way, leaving only the groundmost things.
Now the destroyed village was fully visible, and there was nothing left but rubble and blood, completely raised to the ground and flattened, only the stories of what the village used to be would survive, assuming Muzan didn't kill them all right then.
"Enough games, I must admit. Even for ants, you're a bit resourceful, but I'm done playing." Muzan stomped through both Tanjiro and Nezuko's torso, before appearing right before Yiggrit immediately, with no time to process.
(What?!…) Yiggrit was shocked to see it happen right in front of him.
"As for you, this is the last chance, for you and the ones you helped escape. I'll let you and them go if you tell me everything right now." Muzan stood there looking down at him, his body fully ok, even though there were no more clothes to cover him.
(Kara, use the last resort since it seems like these demon slayers won't get here at all… I would like to use the item now!) Yiggrit didn't have time to worry about the rest, so he closed his eyes as he ordered.
[As you wish, Challenger. The item LED sunlight orb is being used, and will no longer be available after.] Karasi told him.
A singular orb lit up the whole room in artificial sunlight, appearing above Yiggrit, and burning Muzan.
"Arrrfghhh!… This is not the end of it, once I find you again, I will make your existence a permanent hell, child." The Demon King spoke before escaping as his skin was burning rapidly.
(At least it worked… Those useless Demon slayers, couldn't even make it in time to help… Now I lost NEZUKO! F*CK!… Not only that but my regeneration is now even slower because of the LED light…) Yiggrit was sinking into his frustration, but there was not much he could do at the moment.
Just as soon as he complained it ended, and the orb disappeared, even if Muzan had stayed it would not have been enough to end him, but he didn't know that.
Some time passed in silence as the night was coming to an end actually, and Tanjiro was almost completely burned to a crisp by the LED light but managed to regenerate from it.
However, his sister under him was a different story as the hole in her stayed right there with blood gushing out. This caused Tanjiro to put both hands on her, and as he did her eyes twitched, somehow having clung to life, but that started fading as soon as it came up.
Then she began glowing as her blood returned to her, and her body began the reform until she looked as good as new, the biggest difference is that she now has a hole in her clothes, exposing the lower half of her boobs, and her entire midriff.

Objective: Save the whole Kamado Family.
Rewards: New System Function, 12 WTP]
[As a reward for completing the quest, the function, Inventory was unlocked, and you have received 12 WTP] Karasi announced as the notifications rained in.
(Great! Perfect! She's alive!) Yiggrit internally celebrated.
Thus Tanjiro fell on her, unconscious as the sunlight from the rising morning approached.
"Tanjiro? You… You saved me?… It's still you! I knew it! It's still you in there!" Nezuko hugged him tightly as tears of happiness escaped her.
"Get!… Him!… Away!… From!… Sunlight!…Now!" Yiggrit warned as best as he could with his broken body.
Hearing it loud and clear, this time Nezuko didn't think twice and immediately listened to what He said, carrying her brother away as best as she could, slowly but steadily.
(I did it, the Kamado canon event is no longer a canon event... That was quite stressful, I guess that's the kind of life I'll lead from now on, but today was the last time I was weak. Never again!
(I almost lost everything because I tried to rely on those damned Demon Slayers, but I learned my lesson, regardless of my state, I can only rely on myself.) Yiggrit let out a sigh as the sunlight approached and he knew the recovery process for his body would not be an easy one.
The journey had just started, and there was still too much to see, so he would need to be ready and stand above it all.
