The Warlord System

Khan placed the unconscious Masaki in a bed, the system told Khan while her body had been rebuilt, her mind would need another day to recover. Khan didn't mind, with the Bount Arc currently in progress still had some time.

Besides Khan needed Masaki's mind intact for now. Khan decided to use Shadow Sight to spy on the other Espada. He found that they were boring, Aaroniero was still fuming over their last encounter, Stark was napping, Ulquiorra was wandering the halls, Barragan was acting like a king in front of his Fraccion, Nnoitra was beating on some random flunky, Grimmjow seemed to be figuring out the best method to challenge Khan, Zommari was meditating, and Yammy was eating. The last Espada, Szayelaporro was upset that Khan found all his devices.

Khan decided to test his new ability Shadow Nexus. Upon entering Khan found it to be more expansive than before, he found not only places in Hueco Mundo, but the world of the living, and the Soul Society, even the sealed areas like the Soul King's palace.

Khan marveled at despite his area being sealed off, Khan still had access to Yhwach's room where he was currently sleeping. Khan decided to test his other skill Nurgle's Twisted Touch.

Khan found by extending only his hand, he didn't actually need to enter to use his skills. Recognizing that Yhwach was not to be underestimated even while asleep, Khan used Shadow Reach to apply Nurgle's Twisted Touch. Luckily, he did, because the moment he applied the skill Yhwach reacted and destroyed the shadowy hand. Khan immediately withdrew his own hand. Yhwach searched his room, looking for any signs of Khan or how he got in there.

Khan walked away from that portal knowing he still achieved his goal, Yhwach was a dead man walking until, Khan decided otherwise.

While Khan mused over the possibilities, he understood that if he was careless, he might accidentally expose the nature of this trick, and he couldn't have that happing.

Khan returned to his makeshift palace, Khan decided to renovate it and prepare for the new residents that would be there in the future.

The next day Khan watched and waited while Masaki regained consciousness. When Masaki woke up, she was confused and asked, "where am I, and where are my children?" Masaki's eyes widened then asked, "where is Ichigo is he all right?!" Khan just looked at her for a moment the said, "Relax Masaki, the incident your thinking of was several years ago, now tell me where do, you think you are right now?"

Masaki looked around and realized she wasn't in a hospital, then she got a good look at Khan and noticed his mask but was confused by a lack of a hole in his chest or anywhere it should be. Then Masaki said, "I'm in Hueco Mundo aren't I?"

Khan said, "yes, an experiment of mine extracted you from the Hollow called Grand Fisher, your son Ichigo has become a substitute, Soul Reaper. Which brings us to your current problem." Masaki looked at Khan with suspicion. Khan continued, "now you may have noticed the lack of a chain, but you are indeed still dead, and if the Soul Society where to run tests on you, well you would read as a Hollow, in spite of you not having a hole or a mask, as you are aware since your son is only a substitute they might have him kill you in order to test his resolve or loyalty." Masaki looked down at the ground, her Quincy heritage was leading her to believe that everything Khan was saying about the Soul Society was true.

Khan smiled underneath his mask, then went in for the kill and said, "look I know I just gave you a lot to process and unfortunately Hueco Mundo and the Soul Society are going to war soon and the battle ground will be Karakura Town." Masaki looked at Khan worry clearly in her eyes. Khan continued, "so here is the deal, I want you to serve me as payment, if my side comes out as the victorious, I'll make sure to keep your daughters safe, if my side is defeated, I'll make sure you are able to reunite with your family, no strings attached."

Masaki was dealing with a whirlwind of emotions, with no way of knowing if anything Khan said was true, and her desire to see her family, plus realizing that she still had no way to return on her own. Masaki after spinning her wheels said, "what else can I do but agree to your generous offer." Khan said, "I hope you're sincere, rest for now I'll inform you of your duties later, oh try not to wonder off, while I'm a elite officer here, the others are very twisted, and there is no rule that prevents them from targeting you if you stray from my territory."

With that said Khan walked away, leaving Masaki nervous about the future. As soon as Khan was out of sight he used Morpheus's Dreamland on Masaki, then he got the notice he wanted.

Khan mused as that will only get him to 85% max, he would have to put the finishing touches later. Khan decided to watch the Tres Bestias for a while they were looking diligently for Nelliel, but it would take them a couple of days at the earliest. Khan decided to split his time between practicing his newfound sword skills and enjoying Harribel.

About two weeks later the Tres Bestias found Nelliel and her subordinates and were on their way back. Khan was standing in front of the chamber that held Rukia, as soon as the timer hit zero the chamber opened up and the liquid poured out. Rukia coughed a few times then stood up, Khan handed her a towel and asked, "how do you feel?" Rukia covered herself then said, "fine, my power is fully restored, uh, I have a question is there any side effects to that process?" Khan pretended to think, knowing she was referring to the erotic fantasies she had during the process, said, "well given that your body was completely shut down your mind might have you experience any suppressed desires you could have, I wouldn't worry about it unless you had a repeated fantasy."

Rukia stiffened and asked, "what if I had repeated fantasies, what would that mean?" Khan said, "well that means you have unresolved feelings towards whoever or whatever is at the center of your fantasies."

Rukia blushed slightly then tried to change the subject by asking, "do you have any clothes available?" Khan smiled and said, "we do, but not your Soul Reaper uniform, oh before I forget Aizen will have me scout the world of the living soon, if you want you could use that opportunity to "escape" back there if you want."

Rukia gave her thanks and walked away, Khan checked her status and found she was at 75%, almost ready. Khan decided to get ready for Nelliel's arrival, which they did a day later.
