The Strongest Lunarian in One Piece

Chapter 252: Chapter 252: The Children were Born!

More than a month passed in the blink of an eye.

On this particular day, aboard the floating ship known as the Atlantis, most of the core members of the Fallen Angel Pirates had gathered in the castle's grand hall.

Even individuals such as Lily, Lillian, Linlin, Tsuru, Moss, Rock, Stussy, Afar, Hajrudin, the Lady Demon Irene, and Cyril Oka were waiting anxiously.

"Waa… Waa…"

The cries of newborns echoed from the corridor.

"Are they born?" Linlin, Lily, Stussy, and several others widened their eyes in excitement and rushed toward the birthing room's door.

Even Afar, a fellow Lunarian, couldn't help but smile. "Our tribe is about to gain two new members, isn't it?"

Undoubtedly, El—their cousin and leader—was steadily achieving his ambitious goal. Perhaps the Lunarian race might truly experience a resurgence in the future.

"They're out!"

As the doors opened, everyone's faces lit up with joy. El, Nef, Dr. Kureha, Tethys, Gerd, and two giantesses emerged from the room.

Gerd, the new mother, showed no signs of fatigue. Thanks to her Soul-Soul Fruit's extraordinary healing abilities, she looked energetic and full of vitality, entirely unlike someone who had just given birth.

What captured everyone's attention, however, were the two babies in El's and Gerd's arms.

Born with wings, these chubby, adorable infants had physiques far beyond those of normal human newborns. They looked like giant babies—without the typical wrinkled, fragile appearance of the newly born. Instead, they were lively, spirited, and remarkably robust.

Their skin tone, influenced by both El and Gerd's giant ancestry, differed from the traditional brown complexion of the Lunarians. With large, sparkling eyes and delicate features, they were undeniably charming.

"Wow!"

"They're so cute!"

Linlin and Lily's eyes shone with excitement. They rushed forward, gently taking the babies from El and Gerd's arms.

"Mama-mama-mama, little one, I'm your Mama Linlin!"

"And I'm your big sister Lily—wait, no, your Auntie! Hehe!"

"Linlin, Lily, you two be careful!" Tsuru cautioned, her eyelids twitching at the sight of their awkward attempts to hold the infants. Their clumsy movements made everyone anxious. "Don't hurt the babies!"

"Don't worry, they're not that fragile," El said calmly, unbothered by the chaos.

How could his children be ordinary? Even though they couldn't speak yet, their Lunarian and giant bloodlines granted them extraordinary physical resilience.

"Tsk tsk, I've never seen babies crawl as soon as they're born!" exclaimed Dr. Kureha, marveling in amazement. At this rate, she suspected, they might even start walking in a few days.

"Hehehe, these siblings are far beyond ordinary giant children!" said Tethys, who had assisted in the birth. She was equally astonished.

"Of course! You should know whose children they are," Gerd said proudly, her head held high and a smile brimming with maternal pride.

"Siblings? So that means this little one is the sister?" Holding the smaller baby wriggling in her arms, Linlin's heart melted with affection. She turned to El, her excitement clear: "El Oniichan, have you chosen names for the twins?"

"Hehe, if you haven't decided yet, I can help!" Lily chimed in, teasing the baby in her arms as her face lit up with joy.

"I wouldn't dare leave that to you…" Gerd lightly tapped Lily's head, taking the baby back with a smile. "El and I have already decided. The brother will be named Thor, and the sister will be named Sif!"

"Oh? Sif, huh?" Linlin raised an eyebrow, then chuckled. "Hehe, that's a great choice!"

At that moment, the infant in Linlin's arms, clearly uncomfortable, managed to wriggle free.

"Flap!"

With a sudden beat of her wings, she soared into the air, flying straight to the person she instinctively recognized as soon as her eyes opened—her father, El.

"Ooh…ya ya…"

Her tiny mouth quivered as if about to cry, her expression full of grievance. But once El caught her in mid-flight, her face broke into a cheerful smile.

"Huh?"

Not only Linlin, but everyone else was stunned. These twins were clearly anything but ordinary; it was evident they would grow up to be extraordinarily powerful.

"Mama-mama-mama, as expected of El Oniichan's children!" Linlin exclaimed, regaining her composure and grinning widely. "This little one is going to be an absolute powerhouse someday!"

"Hehehe, no doubt about it!" Hajrudin boomed proudly. "They're destined to be rulers of the giants!"

Although Hajrudin himself had the qualifications to vie for the title of King of the Giants, he had acknowledged his own limits long ago. The competition was simply too fierce.

"Even if they don't inherit the steel-like physique of the Lunarians, I'm sure their potential won't fall short!" El said, gently pinching Sif's round, delicate cheeks. He knew that he himself hadn't been born with his steel-like body; it had developed as he grew. He trusted that his children would be no different.

Their remarkable determination to break free from Linlin's arms, even though she wasn't holding them tightly, hinted at their immense potential.

El and Gerd had placed high hopes on their children. Borrowing names from the gods of Norse mythology, they had chosen "Thor" and "Sif" for the twins.

However, El wasn't in any hurry to give them the devil fruits he had prepared. Their minds were too immature to handle such powers responsibly. He planned to wait until they were at least three years old. Any earlier, and there was a risk of them losing control—falling into the sea, spewing fire, or releasing electricity without restraint, causing harm or chaos.

"Lillian, your due date should be in just a few months, right?" Linlin asked, her excitement tangible and tinged with envy. She couldn't wait to grow up and have children of her own someday.

"Hehe, about four or five months left!" Lillian replied, nodding with a happy smile. Her belly had already grown noticeably.

After seeing the incredible potential of Gerd's twins, even Lillian, who had never been one to compete for attention, felt a surge of anticipation. As a member of the unique Three-Eye Tribe, she possessed an innate talent for swordsmanship—something even El had acknowledged. Considering the child she carried was of Lunarian descent, there was no doubt in her mind that her own child would be exceptional as well.
