The Strongest Eriri in History

Chapter 285: Blowing Up a Planet for Fun

"Huh? So Evileye is actually a princess?" Gagaran, who had been surreptitiously eavesdropping, exclaimed in shock upon hearing Eriri's words.

But her surprise was short-lived as Evileye immediately shot her a sharp glare.

"Shut up, Gagaran."

"Alright, alright," Gagaran replied with a careless laugh, but she withdrew her gaze obediently.

As Evileye sat beside Eriri, her heart grew restless. Though over two centuries had passed, she had never been able to forget the night when her family and the citizens of her country were all transformed into undead in a single night. To this day, she still hadn't uncovered the true culprit behind the incident.

"Eriri, since you seem to know so much about me, do you also know who was responsible for the incident that turned me into a vampire?" Evileye asked, her voice tinged with unease.

"Of course, I do. The incident was caused by the origin magic of the Elder Coffin Dragon Lord, which forcibly bound souls. You, however, survived thanks to your innate talent, transforming into a vampire instead of becoming a mindless undead," Eriri said casually.

"The Elder Coffin Dragon Lord?"

Evileye's expression changed drastically. As someone who had lived for over two centuries, she was well aware of the terrifying might of the Dragon Lords.

The world's most formidable beings, the Dragon Lords, were forces far beyond the reach of humans or any other races. Even with her current level of strength, which placed her at over level fifty—a rarity among powerful individuals in this world—she would still be insignificant compared to a true Dragon Lord.

"That's right. Over two hundred years ago, the Elder Coffin Dragon Lord already had a level of ninety-five, making it one of the most powerful among the Dragon Lords," Eriri said lightly. However, her words left Gagaran, Tia, and Tina utterly stunned.

"You're kidding, right? Evileye's enemy is that strong?" Gagaran's voice broke the silence.

"Damn it!" Evileye ground her teeth. This revelation was anything but good news. Seeking revenge against a true Dragon Lord was nothing short of an impossible dream.

"Eriri, Arche, how do your strengths compare to that of the Elder Coffin Dragon Lord?" Tia suddenly asked, shifting her gaze between Eriri and Arche.

Before either could respond, Arche's little sisters, Kuuderika and Ureirika, enthusiastically answered first. "Of course, our sister and Eriri are way stronger!"

"Yeah, way stronger!"

The two little girls, though not entirely knowledgeable about such matters, were certain of their sister's abilities.

Noticing the astonished expressions on the faces of the Blue Rose members, Arche nodded calmly. "Kuuderika and Ureirika are correct. My strength does exceed that of the Dragon Lords—though only by a little."

"A little, huh? Even that's pretty incredible! So does that mean you can cast tenth-tier magic?" Gagaran asked in awe.

"Tch, Gagaran, do you really think she means 'a little' the way you're interpreting it? I bet she means 'a whole lot' instead," Tina said with a meaningful glance at Arche.

She had caught the subtle disdain in Arche's eyes when she mentioned the Dragon Lords. Although it was barely noticeable, Tina's keen observational skills picked up on it. This reaction suggested that Arche's strength could completely crush the Dragon Lords.

"Tina, is that true, Arche?" Gagaran was dumbfounded.

In response, Arche simply gave a faint smile, not bothering to elaborate. Her silence effectively confirmed Tina's observation.

"I can already imagine the look on Lakyus' face when she hears about this. We've always assumed you were on Rigrit's level," Tia said, shaking her head in amazement.

"Rigrit? The Death Priest from the Thirteen Heroes?" Arche inquired.

"That's right. I guess you've heard of her, huh?" Gagaran said with her usual boisterous tone. "But compared to Rigrit, you're way more of a monster. I'm starting to wonder if you're even human anymore."

Evileye, who had been listening quietly, couldn't help but gaze enviously at Arche. If she possessed such overwhelming power, she could avenge her family and her nation.

"Well, if Arche is that strong, then Eriri must be just as powerful, right?" Gagaran asked curiously, her eyes shifting toward Eriri. Tia and Tina, along with Evileye, also looked at Eriri with intrigue.

Instead of answering directly, Eriri smirked playfully and said, "Oh? Want to find out how strong I am? Shall I give you a little demonstration?"

Eriri's suggestion immediately piqued the interest of the Blue Rose members. As adventurers, they were naturally eager to witness strength beyond their understanding.

"Please, let us see! I've always wondered what someone stronger than Rigrit could do," Gagaran exclaimed, her excitement palpable. Tia and Tina nodded in agreement, their faces lighting up with anticipation.

Evileye also focused intently on Eriri, silently resolving herself for what she might witness.

"Well then…" Eriri's smile grew wider. "How about I blow up a planet for you to see? Make sure you don't blink."

The room fell silent. Arche's eyes widened in surprise, but she said nothing, trusting Eriri implicitly.

The Blue Rose members, however, had no grasp of what Eriri's words truly meant.

Under their expectant gazes, Eriri gently tapped her leather-clad foot against the ground.

In the next instant, the ground beneath them began to crumble. From their position, the earth rapidly caved in, forming a massive crater hundreds of meters deep within moments. The collapse extended outward at an unimaginable speed, tearing apart the surrounding landscape.

Molten magma surged from the earth's depths, and the planet's tectonic plates shattered like glass. All life—whether humans, beasts, or magic casters capable of flight—was obliterated before anyone could react.

Protected by the barriers Eriri had cast upon them, Evileye and the others remained unharmed. Yet their eyes widened in absolute terror as they stared at the apocalyptic scene unfolding around them.

In mere seconds, the planet fractured into countless fragments, scattering into the void of space. All that remained of their world was debris, floating aimlessly amidst the vast, star-studded cosmos.

Eriri and the others hovered effortlessly in the vacuum, unaffected by the environment. Unlike the others, who were shielded by magical protections, Eriri stood unguarded, entirely unbothered by the lack of air or pressure.

"So, what do you think? Impressed?" Eriri casually adjusted the environment around them, allowing sound to travel in the vacuum of space.

"It's gone... everything's gone... Lakyus, Rigrit..." Gagaran, usually boisterous and carefree, sat frozen in shock, staring blankly at the void where the planet had been. Eriri's question went completely unheard.

Tia and Tina were no better. Both were similarly stunned, gazing at the remnants of their world with vacant expressions.

In stark contrast, Arche and her sisters, Kuuderika and Ureirika, were curiously examining the unfamiliar sights of outer space, showing none of the despair one might expect after losing their home planet.

As for Kohina and the others, there was no need to even mention it. Even if Eriri had destroyed an entire universe, they wouldn't see it as a big deal.

"Ahhhh!" Evileye screamed and suddenly lunged at Eriri, only to be effortlessly caught and held under Eriri's arm, rendered completely immobile.

"Why? Why did you do this?" Evileye shouted, anguish etched across her face as she stared up at Eriri's calm and collected visage.

Squeezing Evileye's flushed cheeks lightly, Eriri chuckled. "Oh my, didn't I say I'd blow up a planet for you all to see? Besides, none of you objected, did you?"

"Eriri, stop teasing them already. Can't you see that Evileye is about to cry?" Arche approached Eriri with a smile, her tone carrying a hint of amusement.

Evileye, who would typically explode at such remarks, instead grew animated. Turning to Arche, she asked with a glimmer of hope in her eyes, "Arche, when you said 'teasing,' do you mean that this was all a joke? Is this destruction just an illusion created by Eriri?"

Her hopeful gaze quickly dimmed when Eriri gently shook her head. "Nope. This isn't an illusion. Everything that just happened was real. Your world really was blown to pieces—just like that, with a single light tap from me."

As Evileye's despair began to resurface, Eriri suddenly spoke again. "But..."

Evileye's expression shifted rapidly, cycling from despair to hope and finally to frustration. It was as though her face had become a canvas for a comedic performance.

"But what?! Just say it already! You're killing me here!" Evileye shouted, her tone a mix of irritation and desperation.

"Alright, alright, I won't tease you anymore." Eriri released Evileye, allowing her to float in place, and casually added, "Sure, the planet exploded, but I never said I couldn't restore it."

The newly freed Evileye immediately grabbed Eriri's arm, her face lighting up with joy. "You can restore it? Everyone who died—they can all come back too?"

"Of course. Everything will be restored exactly as it was. I mean, haven't I already told you? I'm a virtuous and elegant super-beauty. How could I possibly do something as evil as that?" Eriri replied, a playful smile on her lips.

"You just destroyed a planet—that's practically the definition of evil overlord behavior!" Evileye retorted, though a sense of relief crept into her tone.

Still curious, she asked, "So, how do you plan on restoring the world?"

"Oh, that's easy. I'll just rewind time. It's a simple little trick," Eriri answered breezily.

Evileye rolled her eyes. Time manipulation—especially something as monumental as reversing it—was one of the most powerful abilities in existence. In the world of Overlord, even halting time for a few seconds was considered a godlike feat. Yet here Eriri was, calling it a "little trick."

"Fine," Evileye sighed, choosing not to dwell on it. "Hurry up and fix the world, then."

Just as her words fell, a sweet, unfamiliar voice rang out from the side.

"Eriri, Eriri! What's going on here? The planet just went 'boom' all of a sudden!"

The speaker was none other than Milim, who had somehow tracked them across the cosmos after leaving Arche's mansion earlier that day. The vacuum of space didn't seem to bother her in the slightest.

Milim appeared next to Eriri in an instant, her petite frame unscathed and her pristine white school uniform untouched by the cataclysmic explosion—a clear testament to her resilience.

"Oh, Milim! Welcome back. I just blew up this planet for fun," Eriri said nonchalantly, patting Milim's pink hair.

"Ohhh, I see! That's fine, then!" Milim replied cheerfully.

"Alright, let me restore the planet I accidentally broke first," Eriri said.

"Okay!" Milim nodded obediently and then skipped over to play with Arche's group.

"Eriri, is that little girl also incredibly strong?" Evileye asked, watching Milim's retreating figure with astonishment. Surviving the planet's destruction unscathed was a testament to her immense power.

"Little girl?"

"Of course. You already know I'm a vampire, right? I'm over 250 years old. Calling her a little girl is perfectly reasonable," Evileye replied, crossing her arms. Despite her petite, 12-year-old appearance—permanently frozen in time due to her vampiric nature—her demeanor often belied her youthful looks.

"Fair enough. I doubt Milim would mind anyway," Eriri replied with a shrug. "But I should tell you, even though you're over 250 years old, Milim is already a few thousand years old."

"..."

Evileye was speechless.
