The story of Ban Nu

On the way to the mansion, Banou sees Aylin and Ah Mu getting food to eat. The caravan stop and they hop on. The people on the street are staring at Aylin who have a different look and skin color. When they see Lin Jun, they bow and gossip. Lin Jun is used to be view and gossip thus he doesn't bother with what they say as long as it's nothing harmful to anyone. 

Lin Jun and Ah Mu sit at the driver seat and talk about what happen. While Banou and Aylin is trying all the food bought while waiting for the caravan to enter the capital. Both of them are excited to eat something other than vegetables, rice or bread. Some of the food is sweet. Others are bit salty and savoury. Li Jun turn around to see the ladies are smiling while trying out the food. "Sure the food is not made with any..."

"Yes your highness, i have asked before purchasing the items."

"Later the caravan have to go to the workshop for repair. We will enter the mansion by the back door and after that I have to go into the palace with Li Cheng."

"Yes your highness i understand but your highness why are we going home through the back door?"

"Well don't you know my mansion have a big guard dog at the front? It is best that we go through the back door."

"Are you referring to your consort, Lady Wu?"

"Who else can i refer to a dog.Whenever she sees me, she would be barking nonstop. Sometimes i wonder why i marry her. She could have chosen to marry another man. Just because we grow up together doesn't mean that we love to see each other everyday. What do you think?"

"Well, your highness, if she doesn't like you she won't be running to you every time you appear. If she doesn't like you she won't be bother with the number of women in your mansion. If she doesn't like you, she won't be talking to you ... I'm sorry your highness."

Ah mu quickly keep quiet when he see Li Jun's dark expressions. 

"In any case, later at the mansion, move to house of plenty with our Persian women. Get the servants to clean up that yard, Put in the whatever is missing. Anything is broken, throw. Put more flowers."

"Your highness, why am i moving in there? I have a nice place to sleep at near the laundry area. It's breezy there." He said it with a smile. 

"You are needed there to guard the place. I don't want any strangers to bother Ban Nu. Especially if it's that dog, understand." 

"Yes your highness but she is someone that i can't control. Only you can control her."

"I will give her a warning. Oh and go a find a teacher that speaks Arabic and Mandrian at the same time. I need Ban Nu and Ah Lin to know our language and culture. "

"Yes your highness." Ah Mu smile brightly. 

Right at the corner, they turn to an alley which is quieter. At the back door is open, some men are going in and out. Li Jun and Ah Mu hop off and walk up to see what they are doing. The butler who sees Li Lun in a distance come running up and bow deeply. "Your highness, you are back!"

"Gou butler, it's nice to see you! How is your health?"

"I am all good. Thank you, your highness."

"What is going on?"

"They are delivering the food for the next few days. We are keeping them in the storehouse. " 

"Fine. That is good. Nothing change in the mansion, is it?"

"Nothing your highness."

"Did anyone get into fights?"

Gou butler keep quiet and continue to bow. Li Jun walk up and hold his old butters arms up. He smile and pat his old butler's back gently. 

"Sorry to trouble you Gou butler." The old butler smile and shake his head. As they walk together to the door, Li Jun see that Ah Mu is helping the Persian women down the batter caravan. The butler look the direction where Li Jun is looking at. He sees foreign women, he sigh and shake his head. 

Banou walk into the back yard where the laundry and storehouse is at. She watch the men carrying the vegetables, meat and fruits. Li Jun later hold her hand and lead her away. Aylin quickly follow behind when she see Banou walking away. After walking pass two courtyards, they come to a small yard with a door, inside Ah Mu stands in the middle directing the servants on cleaning and putting in new furnitures into the quarter. Banou look at the pot of flower near her, she bent down and take an olfaction. 

"I hope you like it. You don't have a lot of flowers in the desert. I will get them to have more flowers in your yard and your room too."

"You are being too romantic, my Prince."

Li Jun turn around to see his consort standing at the doorway. She is holding her fan and fanning herself slowly with an frown look on her face.
