Chapter 17: Episode 17:Another Special Case?! (2)

Scene 1:

"Time to shine beneath my eruptions, Dark Fly."

Ceros's voice dripped with malice and anticipation, and the air around him seemed to crackle with the promise of destruction. His words were a cruel invitation to the chaos he was about to unleash.

Ceros's entire right arm transformed, engulfed by furious volcanic eruptions that spread across every inch of his limb.

The molten energy pulsed with unrelenting heat, radiating power that distorted the air around him. Hanging in the sky, his grin widened into a maniacal expression, his eyes burning with unrestrained chaos.

For the first time, the special case's composure shattered, his expression twisting into one of genuine terror.

He opened his mouth to speak but hesitated, unable to muster the mockery to call him "Magma Fly" or anything else. The sheer presence of Ceros in this form had silenced even his bravado.

The special case, once a relentless menace to the masters, shifted his entire demeanour. The arrogance and malice faded, replaced by a deadly seriousness as his focus narrowed solely on Ceros.

To him, Ceros was no longer just another adversary—he was an awakened Elemental Warrior, a force of nature that demanded every ounce of his attention and strength.

"So--This is the case now. I see."

The words slipped out in a low, measured tone, carrying a mix of reluctant acknowledgement and simmering tension, as though the special case was bracing for what was to come.

"Huh?! where did he---Khaaaaaaa!!!!"

(Ceros)"What, Dark Fly? You have to keep your eyes on me or... You will pass out before you even know, Hehehehehe."

Ceros's taunting laughter echoed through the air as he moved with blinding speed.

Before the special case could even register his movements, Ceros struck with ruthless precision. This exact blow landed like a thunderous eruption, the special case's body becoming little more than a punching bag for Ceros's relentless assault.

The sound of this strike alone reverberated through the battlefield, a grim reminder of the overwhelming power now unleashed.

"Khaaaa, you think I would let you take the upper hand?!!! time to counter."

The special case roared, his determination flaring as he dashed forward with explosive speed. Channelling his energy, he unleashed a powerful shockwave aimed directly at Ceros. But he didn't stop there—within the blink of an eye, he moved again, reappearing behind Ceros.

With precision and ferocity, he fired another shockwave, aiming to trap Ceros between the two converging blasts. The air crackled with energy, the double assault a testament to the special case's tactical prowess and refusal to back down.

(Ceros)"What a cheap trick you just did, Hehehe. I hope you are just joking."

Ceros sneered, his voice dripping with mockery.

Scene 2:

Before the converging shockwaves could make contact, Ceros vanished, disappearing in an instant from both his place and the special case's line of sight. For a moment, the battlefield fell eerily silent, save for the dying echoes of the shockwaves. The special case's eyes darted wildly, searching for his opponent.

Then, it hit him—there was only one place Ceros could have gone. But the realization came too late.

Ceros appeared behind the special case, his fist raised, ready to strike with devastating force. But, with a cruel smile, he intentionally slowed the momentum of his attack, allowing the special case a fleeting chance to react.

Time seemed to stretch as the special case, caught off guard, scrambled to process the danger. Then, in a burst of instinct and desperation, he responded just in time, raising his arms to block the incoming blow.

The force of the punch collided with his defence, sending a shockwave through his body, but the special case held firm, narrowly avoiding total devastation.

Ceros's smile stretched wider, his confidence radiating as he tilted his head slightly, looking down on the special case with a smug superiority.

The special case, seething with fury, clenched his fists, his every instinct screaming for the chance to land a blow and teach Ceros a lesson in humility.

In a surge of anger, the special case launched himself forward, striking with a flurry of close-combat shockwaves, each one aimed to overwhelm his opponent. But Ceros was ready.

With effortless precision, he countered every attack with the same deadly moves, his strikes moving like clockwork. It became painfully clear that Ceros wasn't simply fighting—he was toying with the special case, treating him like a student and himself as the master, guiding his disciple through a brutal lesson of power.

Despite the intensity of the clash, Ceros was only using his unmorphed hand to deflect and counter the special case's furious assault. The special case could feel the sting of that blatant disrespect with each impact—Ceros wasn't even using his full power.

Amidst the fearsome shockwaves that rippled through the air, the special case couldn't ignore the fact that Ceros was holding back, treating him like little more than an amusing challenge. The realization hit him hard, fueling his frustration and fear in equal measure.

"YOU PIECE OF MAGMA SH*T!!!"

The special case's mouth exploded out of raw fury, as his frustration reached its boiling point. Every ounce of his rage was packed into the insult, but it barely scratched the surface of the contempt he now felt for Ceros.

(Ceros)"Woahh, you sure know what those words mean, right?"

Ceros's voice was laced with amusement, his grin widening as he spoke, almost as if the special case's anger had only added to his entertainment. The taunt hung in the air, a clear challenge, daring the special case to continue.

The relentless clash of their shockwaves finally came to an abrupt halt as both combatants broke away, momentarily distancing themselves from one another. But before the dust could even settle, the special case, driven by pure anger, rushed forward, charging at Ceros without hesitation, his fury blinding him to the danger.

Ceros, unfazed, simply smiled—a calm, almost mocking grin. His gaze locked onto the special case, eyes filled with quiet amusement, as if he were staring at a fool charging headfirst into his own demise. It was clear: the special case had just sealed his own fate.

Ceros let out a long, drawn-out sigh, his expression shifting to one of almost exaggerated disappointment.

(Ceros)"I think this is enough,"

He murmured the words, each syllable dripping with a chilling finality that seemed to freeze the very air around them.

The weight of his voice hung in the space between them, as if time itself had paused, giving the special case a fleeting moment to realize the inevitability of what was to come. It was clear—this wasn't just a threat, it was a foregone conclusion.

(Ceros)"Time to meet your end, Dark Fly."

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!"

The special case screamed, his voice raw with pure, unbridled rage. Fueled by a singular, burning desire to destroy, he charged at Ceros with everything he had left. In that moment, all logic, all strategy, vanished.

He wasn't just attacking; he was driven by an insatiable urge to devour Ceros, to crush him utterly, and he cared for nothing else but that singular, consuming goal.

The wind howled violently, ripping through the air as small tornadoes twisted and writhed between the swirling clouds. Amidst this chaos, a dark silhouette emerged, barely discernible against the tempestuous backdrop.

In a sudden flash of lightning, the figure's eyes flickered with a haunting neon-grey glow, his light briefly cutting through the storm like an otherworldly beacon. As the figure's gaze pierced the darkness, the climate around him seemed to darken even further, as if the very atmosphere recoiled in response to his presence.

"Looks like someone will enter the state!"
