The Seventh Base

Chapter 70 Arrogant and Despotic

The next morning, dawn broke.

Lucas University was shrouded in a strange atmosphere; students were attending classes as usual, but there was a sense of heaviness within the school.

Nilo—he was to bring people to Lucas University today, but it wasn't known when they would arrive.

The library opened, and students arriving found Xu Mo absent. Upon asking the librarian, they learned that Xu Mo had taken a day off, allowing them to breathe a sigh of relief. With him on leave, Nilo would be unable to find Xu Mo.

Xu Mo had gone early to the castle where Elizabeth lived, and Elizabeth had risen early as well.

After arriving at the castle, Xu Mo changed into armor, donning the same gear as Elizabeth's guards. Once finished, Xu Mo emerged and discovered to his surprise that Elizabeth was outside, seemingly attempting to sneak a peek.

This left Xu Mo feeling contemplative, having not expected Elizabeth to be such a person.

Elizabeth was merely curious if Xu Mo would forget to wear his helmet, but she realized she was overthinking it. When Xu Mo came out fully covered, she could see nothing array and he was indistinguishable from her other guards.

At the entrance of Lucas University, many reporters had arrived early, waiting around. They were scattered in different locations, each equipped with advanced cameras, ready to record the entire event, and some media were broadcasting live.

Now, the people of Lucas Star Capital were also interested in what would happen at Lucas University today.

Lucas University was under martial law, and the school had made preparations.

As a top academic institution of the Star System Alliance, Lucas University had substantial armed forces; there was no need for government support. Should Nilo dare to make a move, the Transcendents of Lucas University would not sit idly by.

Time ticked away, and the entrance of Lucas University seemed calm, but there was a tense anticipation in the air, like a storm about to break.

"Hum."

Just then, the buzzing of flying devices came from afar. Reporters outside the school looked up to see the devices streaking through the air, entering Lucas University internally.

This was incredibly rude behavior. A proper visit, adhering to etiquette, would call for landing outside the school.

However, the barbarians of Baloma Kingdom, obviously did not understand what etiquette was.

"Hum, hum, hum…" One after another, the flying devices passed overhead in formation, entering directly into Lucas University. Reporters rushed towards the school interior while simultaneously filming the flying devices in the sky.

"Baloma Kingdom's flying devices have arrived at Lucas Star University, and they've entered directly. Judging by the number of flying devices, it appears they've brought quite a few people." A reporter spoke while running and filming, and soon many channels in Lucas Star Capital broadcast scenes of Lucas University.

On the streets of Lucas Star Capital, many screens showed the flying devices crossing the sky to enter Lucas University. They watched as the flying devices came to a stop, and then figures began to float down from underneath them.

Among those standing on the foremost flying devices, the central figure was none other than Prince Nilo of Baloma Kingdom. Today, he was dressed in armor, looking imposing and carrying an aura of deadly seriousness.

Inside Lucas University, students ran out to look up at the flying devices. Their eyes followed the figures floating down from above, stirring up emotions within them.

The figures flanking Nilo were tall, each wearing armor adorned with the image of a predator bird and wielding a domineering long spear. Others in different directions were similarly attired.

These were the Holy Temple Knights, and their visible eyes exuded a deadly intensity, penetrating and sharp. These were men who had fought and killed, as each Holy Temple Knight had survived amid corpses, climbing over the remains of other slaves.

"Nilo." Lucas University students watched, fixing their gaze on Nilo.

Nilo floated down, his gaze sweeping across the people of Lucas University as if searching for something, his eyes cold.

This place was the site of his humiliation.

Here he had been beaten, nearly killed, and ultimately humiliated and expelled.

If it were possible, Nilo would not hesitate to command his armies to flatten Lucas University and slaughtering everyone without sparing a single soul.

Nilo landed, his gaze sweeping across the crowd as he walked forward.

Members of the Holy Temple Knights followed Nilo, proceeding with him.

Many Lucas University students instinctively stepped back, looking at Nilo with eyes filled with apprehension. From Nilo and his party, they felt an oppressive, deadly atmosphere.

The presence of the Holy Temple Knights was formidable, their demeanor in stark contrast with that of the students, who were mostly sunny in disposition. These knights, however, exuded an air of darkness and deadly resolve.

Nilo looked at the retreating students with undisguised contempt in his eyes.

That disdainful attitude caused many students to feel humiliated, prompting them to angrily lift their heads and halt their retreat.

Nilo walked past one figure after another, his gaze scanning across each face until finally locking onto one individual.

"Boom…"

A powerful Source Power Field erupted, as Nilo's Source Power Level unexpectedly breached the A-class. The Source Power he released was wild and violent, charged with aggression like a fierce beast rushing towards one person.

"Be careful." A number of students cried out in alarm, their expressions changing as they watched Nilo charge forward like a wild beast, the ground thundering beneath him.
