The Scribe's Last Story

"So Lionel, why does Lucius need our help?" Rayna asked Lionel curiously, as she never heard of Lucius, but already has a good idea on who Lucius could be based off of people's words, as there was a rumour that Lucius nearly got fired 12 times in 1 week on his first day of being in the VHC.

"Well, Lucius requested me to send you guys to help him on the search for Elwrin, the other capitals are worried about his whereabouts." Lionel said, he then showed the group where the search is being held through a hologram in his office, Sakonori seemed to have an unpleasant reaction.

"Wait, wait! You don't plan on sending us to THERE?" Sakonori asked, as she recognised the location of the mission, which was the old city where it all went south, the same place where they met Rin and Ludwig, and the first time where they were nearly killed.

"C'mon relax, Ashina's group is mostly of Semi-Elite ranks, and Ashina himself is a Semi-Elite Rank 1, formidable one to be exact." Lionel assured her, as he is aware how horrifying the experience would've been. Sakonori was still uncomfortable, while the others were as uncomfortable but figured they'll be fine.

"Will Sendo Kairu be with him?" Satoya asked, as he remembered him and his 2 friends going on a mission with Ashina. "Oh that guy?" Lionel replied, "yeah he is a polite one if I say, but yes, Sendo is currently undergoing the mission alongside Ashina," Lionel said. "So you are sending us there.." Sakonori said in a sad tone.

"C'mon toughen up, Rin expects alot from you guys," Lionel said, "I'll assign the mission, and oh yeah, some of our more important devices and technology can no longer be used, since the global alliance agency's compass rose member, West unfortunately got scolded at by other members of the compass rose for giving us some of them." Lionel said sadly, as he was disappointed with how the G.A.A. worked.

"Global Alliance? I thought they were just the normal government alliance from all the continents." Isaac asked, as unlike the Void hunters committee, The Global Alliance Agency is way more public, often being seen as the global government. "G.A.A, those guys are the international government, got like 10 departments, and from what I have heard from Rin, the V.H.C (Void hunters committee) has been on bad terms for a couple decades." Said another man walking toward them, he has silver hair, black eyes, wearing a white hoodie, and sweatpants.

"Correct, we have been on bad terms, and we can't really fight back, as we lack technology, G.A.A has been well, not sharing the newly developed technology from the public for well, forever." Lionel said slightly annoyed, as he is sour about the whole organisation.

"Ok, and who are you?" Rayna asked the man. "Oh right, my name's Morrisu." he said tiredly, "He's the new elite rank, taking Elwrin's spot, he isn't really great in terms of physical prowess, his calibre, erm, how should I explain it." Lionel said confusingly, trying to think about a way to explain Morrisu's calibre.

"He can create any modern weapon, by modern weapons, like guns, the more dangerous the more energy it costs for him, he can also summon a tank as well." Lionel said again, hoping the group understood him.

"Unfortunately he isn't going to join you on your mission, he is leaving in about 2 hours to visit the 3rd capital." Lionel said, "Anyway, I'll have Ludwig transfer you all to the location, and yes, you may see level 6 Iyas, but it is fine, I know yall can handle it, especially with 2 groups which have the average of Semi-Elite ranks." Lionel said as Ludwig snapped his fingers below the group once again, making the group fall through, this time Sakonori was mentally prepared, and did not scream when she fell through.
