Alex returned to Sarios City, where he rejoined Ava at the White Lotus Guild.

He registered as an adventurer and earned the rank of a One-Star adventurer.

Currently, he sat at a table, sipping a drink, his eyes obscured by a cloth.

Beside him sat Lisa, her beauty captivating, and on his other side was another woman.

This woman, Stella, was just as enchanting as Lisa.

She had long, black hair and was Alex's height, 175 cm.

Her toned physique hinted at her strength, though it was mostly hidden beneath modest clothing.

Her intense red eyes focused on Alex. "What are we waiting for?" she asked.

Stella had evolved into a kajin, her powers reaching a formidable C-rank.

She had even discovered her own elemental affinity during the process, sipping her drink with an air of confidence.

"Jack isn't here yet," Alex replied.

"Is he even coming?" Lisa asked. Thirty minutes had already passed, but Alex remained silent, checking his status screen.

After reviewing his status, Alex spread his soul sense and said, "He's here."

A mask of liquid formed around Alex's face, solidifying into a dragon-shaped mask. The girls looked on, surprised at his transformation. Alex thought to himself,

'I need to improve my body to increase my Arcane mana.'

He glanced at the guild door as someone entered, silently calculating, 'How much Arcane energy would it take to upgrade my stats?'

At least I can balance them a bit, he thought.

The entire upgrade took only seconds. To Lisa and Stella, Alex's aura vanished entirely, making him nearly undetectable, which left them uneasy.

His presence was already hard to sense, and now he's completely vanished, Lisa thought.

'Is Alex really that powerful, or is there something unique about him as a human?' Stella wondered, recalling the faint golden hue in Alex's blood when she'd noticed it.

Just then, Jack entered the guild, heading their way with three others. Jack, a man in his late 20s with brown hair, a beard, and striking blue eyes, approached the table.

At 180 cm, his handsome features were hard to miss.

Beside him was a young woman named Mia, her golden hair and eyes standing out, though her beauty didn't quite match Lisa's or Stella's.

Mia was an elf, her intense gaze focused on Lisa. Her body was voluptuous, almost to the point where Alex wondered if she was part succubus. Behind her stood a short girl with a veil-covered face and ocean-blue hair.

Her hourglass figure was cloaked in modest attire. The final member was a teenage boy with brown hair and eyes, looking bright and innocent—Jack's younger brother, Kevin.

Alex stood, his voice low. "Nice to see you again, Jack. Is this your party?"

"Yeah, sorry for being late," Jack chuckled. "Some idiots held us up."

"Hey, you gave us short notice!" Mia interjected.

"Glad we're here to help," Jack added, glancing back. "Sofia, are you okay with this?"

The blue-haired woman, Sofia, simply nodded. Kevin, excited, shouted, "I'm going on my first quest!"

"Seems like you all get along well," Alex observed.

"Yeah, but it seems these two ladies lack manners," Mia remarked.

Stella frowned, and Lisa ignored her. Alex introduced his companions, "This is Stella, and this is Lisa."

Before Jack could respond, Mia sneered, "Green hair—such a disgrace for an elf."

Lisa ignored her again, but Alex's gaze hardened.

[King's Aura Activated]

A heavy pressure filled the guild hall, causing the weaker adventurers to cough blood. Alex's cold, emotionless voice rang in Mia's ears.

Even Jack was caught off-guard, struggling to stay on his feet alongside his team—except for Sofia.

"Mind your words," Alex said icily.

[King's Aura Deactivated]

"If you have a problem with her, keep it to yourself," he added with a slight smile. "Now, shall we get started on this quest?"

Lisa and Stella exchanged satisfied glances as Alex walked past. Shocked, Jack muttered, "I knew he was strong, but to bring us to our knees with just his aura…"

"Such power," Kevin whispered in awe. Sofia gently spoke, her voice smooth and calming, "Mia, please be considerate."

Mia, snapping out of her shock, apologized, "I'm sorry."

Jack let out a sigh.
