Suga's POV:
Smoke filled the air. Dust clung to my clothes. My ears were still ringing from the explosion.
Everything had gone sideways fast. What was supposed to be a silent, quick infiltration had turned into a trap — and we walked right into it.
RM: "Everyone okay? Sound off!"
Jimin (groaning): "I'm fine... just burned a little."
Jin: "Sniper position's compromised. I'm heading to exfil point now!"
J-Hope: "Slight limp, nothing serious. Kook, V, report!"
Jungkook (breathing hard): "We're with you! Got out through the tunnel back route."
V: "We need to move now. Kai's reinforcements could be tracking us."
RM: "Fall back to Base Alpha. We return to the mansion. Now."
We didn't even argue.
Our mission failed. We didn't take him down.
But we were lucky to be alive.

[1 Hour Later – Inside the Car]
The ride back was tense.
No music.
No jokes.
No words.
Only the sound of the road... and the thoughts we were all too scared to say out loud.
Was Y/n safe?
Did Kai already make a move?
I stared out the window, my fingers twitching. That voice note I sent her kept playing in my mind. I hoped it helped... even a little.
Please let her be okay.

[Back at the Mansion – Late Night]
Y/n's POV:
I sat alone in the living room, weapon still near me, heart still racing. The power was back, but I hadn't relaxed.
Not one bit.
I kept pacing between rooms, checking the cameras, peeking through windows, locking everything twice.
Where were they?
Suddenly—
The front gates opened.
I ran to the door just as it burst open. My breath hitched.
There they were. All 7 of them Alive.
Covered in bruises, ash, blood, cuts… but they were here. All seven of them.
Y/n: "Oppa!"
I ran straight into Jin's arms, my eyes already tearing up.
Jin: "Princess…" ( he breathed out, pulling me into a tight hug ) . "You're safe. You're safe."
Y/n: "You're hurt! All of you—"
RM: "We've had worse." (He placed a hand on my head.) "But we should've never left you behind."
Jimin: "Y/n… did anything happen while we were gone?"
I nodded slowly, swallowing the lump in my throat.
Y/n: "There was a power cut. And a text… from Kai. He said, 'I'm not the only one who sets traps.'"
The room fell silent.
Suga: "He knows where you are."
V: "That means someone's leaking info."
J-Hope: "We'll figure that out tomorrow. For now, she needs rest."
Jin : " Treat your wounds and change and rest - we'll talk later about it. "

[ Later That Night – Y/n's Room ]
I sat on the bed, my knees pulled to my chest.
The silence in the house felt different now. Not peaceful. But tense. Like everyone was holding their breath.
There was a knock at the door.
Y/n: "Come in."
Suga stepped in, now cleaned up, but still a bandage wrapped on his arm.
Suga: "Can't sleep?"
I shook my head.
He walked over and sat beside me.
We didn't talk for a few moments.
Then he reached into his pocket and handed me his bullet necklace.
Suga: "Keep this. Until this is over."
Y/n: "But this is your good luck charm—"
Suga: "Then let it protect you instead. If anything happens again, call me. Don't hesitate. One second could change everything."
My lip trembled as I clutched the necklace tight.
Y/n: "I was so scared, Oppa. I thought... I thought maybe you wouldn't come back."
He gently pulled me into a hug.
Suga: "I told you... I always keep my promises, kitty."
Y/n : " Love you Oppa , and thank you for always keeping your promises. "
Suga : " Love you too , Kitty.. and I'm sorry for earlier , My tone was harsh and i felt guilt about it I'm really sorry .... "
Y/n : " It's ok oppa , Don't feel guilt as you know your kitty will always forgive you... "
( They both hugged each other and slept peacefully )

[ Security Room, Mansion Basement]
Jin and RM stood over a paused security feed.
In the footage, barely visible…
A figure lurking outside the garden fence. A dark shadow holding something.
RM (coldly): "He's watching us."
Jin: "And now, we watch him back." ( replied back with smirk )
