THE LOVE I WISHED FOR

Anna's pov

I was feeling nervous.

I mean who wouldn't when your marriage is just in some hours.

And you are getting married to someone whom you don't know completely.

I mean Edison is a very nice guy but still I don't feel anything for him.

It's just for the sake of our company.

But I intend put efforts in this marriage.

I was feeling nothing but just nervousness.

Now i am sitting on the couch wearing my white gown ready to marry him.

I closed my eyes suddenly the happy moment of me and Jack flashed in the back of my mind.

I loved him so much but we were not destined with each other.

I still love him though i am getting married to someone else.

But i want to forget him and start a new life thats also one of the reason why i agreed for the marriage.

But I still want to cherish those happy moment I spend with him.

God knows how many time I imagined myself getting married to jack.

But guess God had different plans for the life.

I deep down in my thoughts suddenly my door opened with a smiling Jinie in a red dress.

She came in and stood in front of me.

" I can't belive my friend is finally getting married."

She fake cried.

I just laughed at her cute reactions sometimes she is too adorable.

She took out her phone and started clicking my photos.

" what are you doing? Stop it."

" why? You are looking so preety I can't control."

I smiled and she stopped and sat down beside me.

" I love it when you smile genuinely."

" Thankyou."

" for what?"

" For everything..I don't know what would I have did without you."

" It's my duty."

I love her so much she is just like a sister to me.

She was always there for me when i need her the most.

" I can't believe this day is already here. You will be going to someone else."

She said wiping her invisible tears.

"uhh why are you being so dramatic?"

" Me dramatic? you didn't even introduced me to your husband."

Then i realised that jinie and Edison never met.

" ohh sorry it happened so fast that I didn't get the chance to introduce you to him."

" I know i can understand."

"Btw how he looks in reality? Does he look as handsome in real as he looks in the photos."

"well he is even handsome in reality.."

" Really?"

I nodded and chuckled.

" Then now i need to meet him fast."

"oh you will."

We just talk a bit and laughed then my father came with a big smile on his face.

He came towards me and i stood up and walk to him and he gave me a tight hug.

I hugged him back.

Then we pulled away from the hug.

He looked at me and patted my head.

" I can't believe how fast you grow up."

He said while tears started to built up in his eyes.

" Dad!! don't cry."

" Anna my daughter please forgive me if I did a wrong decision or i ever hurt you. After your mother passed away I couldn't give you that much time. I hope you will forgive me."

" No dad why are you apologising you made a very good decision and about being hurt you never disappointed me even after mother died you took a good care of me. You never made me cry. You always made me happy you gave me all the happiness in the world. So you are the best dad in the world."

I said and again hugged him. Then after some minutes we pulled away.

" My little princess is soon going to be someone's wife. I am happy and sad at the same time."

" Dad don't be sad I will still be your little princess."

He smiled and kissed my forehead.

" shall we go now?"

He asked and I nodded.

Then we walk outside to the the room and headed to the church.

As the door opened of the church showing many people sitting on the chair all converted their gaze toward me.

My father handed his arm to me and I firmly hold my father's arm.

I took deep breath and start walking on the aisle as I see there Edison standing on the other side.

It would be a total lie if i say he is not handsome.

He is deadly handsome but i don't feel anything toward him.

Then my dad handed me to Edison and whisper something in his ear and Edison said someone back and my father just nodded.

He look so serious I wonder what happened to him I know he is not happy with this marriage but still.

He looked directly in my eyes and hold my hand.

I stood beside him and soon the priest started the marriage.

As the priest said we took our vows and exchanged the rings.

" now you may kiss the bride."

The priest announced.

Again I felt very nervous it's not like that I never kissed before but I only kissed Jack.

Now i am going to kiss other man.

He came closer and closer i felt my heart pounding very fast.

He held my waist and pulled me toward himself.

I closed my eyes tightly.

He leaned toward my face and peck the edge of my lips.

I opened my eyes to look at his cold eyes.

I felt relieved then he left me and the crowd went wild.

The sound of clapping could be heard from the every corner of the hall.

The marriage was done and now I can't believe I am finally married.

Then after the marriage.

We left for the wedding menu that was going to held in a hotel.

We entered inside the hotel where our every relative and guest were present.

I see people eating, dancing and chatting with each other.

As we walked in everyone looked at us and I felt nervous.

I looked beside me and Edison was already gone.

Maybe went to meet the guests.

Everyone came and congratulate me.

I saw jinie running towards me.

"you both looked so good together made for each other."

I smiled and we just talked about random things.

Guests were congratulating me one by one.

I was just talking with jinie then I saw Edison coming toward me with a man that I don't know and Jade.

"Meet my wife Anna."

" Hello i am Anna. Nice to meet you."

" Hello I am Mark same here."

He smiled and I smiled back.

"you already know me right."

He said and winked at me.

I smiled and winked back.

" And this is my friend Jinie. Edison this is your first time meeting her."

" Hello I am Edison. Nice to meet you."

" Hello. Me too. I hope you will take care of my precious friend."

" I will."

Jinie smiled and they both shook hands.

Then we all talked a bit and Mark seem to be a nice guy like Jade.

"next time please visit us."

" Sure."

Mark said and Jade also nodded.

Soon after it was the time for us to go.

I hugged my dad and Jinie once last time.

I was holding back my tears while my dad and jinie were also in tears.

" Take care."

Dad said.

" And don't forget us."

Jinie added.

I smiled and nodded.

" I will not. And you both take care of yourself."

I said and entered inside the car.

The car started and I looked back at my dad and jinie last time.

Soon the car started to move and we moved forward.

Now me and Edison heading to the house gifted by our parents to us.

The whole ride was silent.

I was looking out of the window then i took a glance at him.

I don't know why but Edison is different.

He is not even talking.

I mean i am not saying that he is talkative.

He talk very little but today he is not talking a but.

Maybe not in mood or tired.

I don't think it's good idea to disturb him.

I diverted my gaze outside the window feeling the cold night breeze.
