Chapter 56: CHAPTER THIRTY TWO: "Dawn of the Free"
EXT. IBADI KINGDOM – PUBLIC SQUARE – DAY
The sun shines brightly over the grand square of Ibadi, where banners of the new alliance flutter in the breeze. The rebel legion stands at attention, joined by citizens of Ibadi and representatives from across the lands.
BAYO, dressed in ceremonial garb, walks slowly onto the dais. His head is bowed slightly—not out of shame, but humility.
Whispers run through the crowd. Then, a hush.
YEMI steps forward from the crowd, locking eyes with his old friend.
He places a hand on Bayo's shoulder.
YEMI
You fought with guilt, Bayo.
Now fight with purpose.
(beat)
I forgive you. And so do we.
He steps aside as the rebel legion erupts into applause. Bayo blinks, surprised, overwhelmed.
A crown is placed on his head. The crowd chants:
"LONG LIVE KING BAYO OF IBADI!"
Tears fall.
But Bayo smiles — proud, at peace, and no longer alone.
---
EXT. ONDOLU VILLAGE SQUARE – DAY
YEMI arrives with a few warriors, expecting nothing more than a visit. But he is met by chiefs and elders of Ondolu.
CHIEF ELDER
Your father was a legend, Yemi. He bled for us.
He fought when others bowed.
Now… let us honor him by crowning his son.
YEMI
(stammering)
I—I don't need a title—
WOMAN IN CROWD
You already lead. Let us follow you.
The crowd begins to kneel.
Yemi is struck silent, glancing at Bayo in the distance. Bayo gives a simple, knowing nod.
YEMI (quietly)
For my father…
For Ondolu…
(he breathes deeply)
Yes.
A robe is draped over him. The drums rise. The people cheer.
YEMI is proclaimed ruler of Ondolu, carrying the torch of Chief Alade's legacy.

INT. TEMPLE OF AYO – TWILIGHT
Morenike kneels before the sacred flames of Ayo's divine altar. Priests and priestesses encircle her, chanting.
Her eyes are closed, her hands glowing with ancient magic.
HIGH SEERESS
Daughter of the line.
Bearer of wisdom.
Speaker of the unseen…
We anoint you — High Priestess of Ayo.
A ceremonial golden circlet is placed upon her forehead, just above the mark of her bloodline.
She opens her eyes. Bright. Determined. Free.
Outside, people cheer her name as she walks forward, her presence both regal and spiritual.
MORENIKE (V.O.)
We lost so much.
But we found ourselves.
---
MONTAGE – ACROSS THE KINGDOMS
STATUES of King Adekunle, Tunde, and Ojora generals are pulled down with ropes and fire. Children cheer as a new statue of the rebel legion rises.
Villages are rebuilt. Ash is swept away. Walls are raised not to divide—but to protect.
---
EXT. RECONSTRUCTION CAMP – EVENING
FEMI lifts a beam while DAMILOLA wraps a young child's injured hand in cloth. They work side by side, among victims freed from the Ojora regime.
A woman hugs Damilola. She flinches slightly… but hugs back. Femi watches her with quiet admiration.
DAMILOLA
(softly, to Femi)
We can't fix everything.
FEMI
But we'll fix what we can.
She nods.
Then smiles.

– THE FIVE KINGDOMS – NIGHT
A flame burns at the center of a new map being drawn—one that shows Ayo, Ibadi, Ondolu, Irebu, and Owulo, all marked with new symbols of unity.
Above it hangs the rebel banner — now known as the Banner of the Free.
THE AGE OF TYRANNY IS OVER.
THE ERA OF UNITY HAS BEGUN.
