Chapter 84: Chapter 09 - Idiotic Brute! [2]
Still in the meadows of the city of Alexandria...
Arthur, dodging an attack, hit the bandit's hand, causing the sword to fall. Grabbing the sword, Arthur made a cut in the man's stomach before throwing the sword away. – I'll destroy you if I use a sword... – he declared, dodging another punch and delivering super punches to the bandit's stomach and chest, breaking bones in the process.
The leader was thrown away, spitting blood. – Haaa!
Seeing Arthur walking towards him, he tried to get up but couldn't. He took a vial from his kimono. – You're not going to get any information from me! – he exclaimed, drinking the liquid.
Arthur, grabbed his neck. – What did you do?! What is this that you drank?! – he questioned, watching the bandit's skin change from pale to green.
The bandit's body began to swell until the head imploded.
Riding on Maximus, Hera landed behind Arthur. – Why do I think you didn't take them seriously? – she questioned with a raised eyebrow.
Arthur turned to them. – You match the horse... – he remarked, looking at Hera and Maximus. – Wait, why did you let her control you at first?! – Arthur asked, looking at Maximus.
Hera, running her hand over Maximus, smiled. – Because I'm not a brute... – she teased, sticking out her tongue.
"Exactly, you sucker!" Maximus thought, stretching his chest.
Arthur sighed. – Come one, let's go... – he ordered, climbing in front of her.
…
Two days later, in the province of Galopassea. Arthur and Hera were staying at an inn in the city of Colossus...
An Amazon in dark clothes peeked through the window, seeing a white-skinned, white-haired woman sleeping in bed and a man with long brown hair sleeping in an armchair. "He's here..." she whispered to herself, recognizing Arthur sitting in the armchair sleeping with his arms crossed.
The Amazon turned around and entered the room through the door, looking at the woman. "Who is this woman? How dare she let the king sleep on a mere chair?!" she thought, veins bulging on her face.
Arthur, sitting, his golden eyes removed the darkness from the room. – Is she that pretty? You can't stop looking at her... – he said, breaking the silence.
The Amazon, recognizing the voice, froze for a few seconds before kneeling. – Your majesty, I didn't know you were awake, forgive me. – she pleaded, kneeling on the floor.
Looking at her, Arthur sighed. – That excuse is inappropriate. Even if I was sleeping, why would you enter the room where your king is without permission? – he questioned, but noticing her trembling body, he smiled. – Stay calm, I'm not angry! Why are you here?
The Amazon stood up and lowered her head. – The queen ordered us to search of the king. There were four of us, and we decided to split up, each following the cardinal points looking for traces...
Sitting down and putting his hand on his chin, Arthur sighed. – The Amazons are really excellent spies and navigators. It hasn't been long since the queen knew about my disappearance, and even though they didn't know where I was, they managed to find me in a matter of days. I'll put that to good use." he thought to himself, looking at her. – She must have already arrived in Camelot... Don't lie to your queen! Go back and say that you found the king, but he said he would return and that if you tell where he is he said he would kill you and your whole family. Understood?
The Amazon crouched. – Yes, sovereign! – she exclaimed, looking at Hera lying on the bed, bit her lip. – Sovereign, is Lady Hera our new queen?
Arthur laughed and stood up. – Of course not! She needed my help and I helped! I let her have the bed precisely because she isn't my wife... – he explained, looking at the Amazon.
The Amazon sighed. – Although I doesn't deserve an explanation, thank you for enlightening me, my king... – she said, crouching.
The Amazon straightened up. – Before I go, lord... I saw a strange movement around the city. It seems that they are looking for the lord and the princess... – she revealed, her eyes downcast.
Arthur looked at the Amazon. – Go back! Get out of the city as soon as possible!
Princess Hera awoke and looked at Arthur. – What's wrong? – she asked as the Amazon disappeared before she could see. – I heard voices. Who were you talking to? – she asked, running her hand over her eyes and yawning.
Turning his back on her, Arthur snickered. – You're going crazy, that's right! What voices...? – he asked mockingly.
Hera, looking at Arthur, felt a vein pop out on her face. – What did you say?! – she questioned throwing a pillow at Arthur's back with a smile.
Arthur, sitting on the couch, said. – Sleep! We only did this because of you! Maximus and I endured two days of high-speed travel without resting, but you're the soft one... – he said with a tone of contempt, crossing his arms and closing his eyes.
Hera lay down on the bed. – I'm not soft, you... – she sighed, closing her eyes.
"Fortunately for me, I won't be able to assume you for now... You may end up dying if I make our commitment public..." he thought, smiling. "I'm going to enjoy my freedom..." he decided, closing his eyes.
…
In an inn around the city...
Goddess Athens, sitting at a table in armor, sharpened her sword. – Soldier, where is my brother?!
The soldier looked at Athena and blushed. "Is this the voice of the goddess of war?! It's so soft, and she herself... I've never seen a person so perfect and so intimidating at the same time..." he thought, admiring her gray hair that framed her tanned face, her big and cold gray eyes, and her sculpted body, a true magnum opus.
Athena, looking at him with cold, indifferent eyes, raised an eyebrow. – ??? – waiting for an answer.
The soldier, clearing his throat, looked out the window of the Inn towards a brothel across the street. – The prince is there. – he said, pointing to the brothel.
Athena stood up and stopped in front of the soldier. "Hera, I'll buy you time so you can run away..." she thought, slitting the soldier's throat.
The soldier, clutching his throat, tried to speak. – P-Princess... – he choked on his own blood.
The divine magnum opus turned and looked at the other soldiers. – Your turn! – she declared, beginning to massacre the entire inn.
