Chapter 8: Chapter VI - Weiße

'Everyone is entitled to their own sorrow, for the heart has no metrics or forms of measure. And all of it... irreplaceable.'

an amplified voice is heard saying: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome... Weiss Schnee and Jaune Arc."

A young girl in white with a barely visible scar over her left eye walks out on stage into the spotlight, beside her. Young blonde haired man wearing a military officer's uniform, a prince. As a piano plays the opening of 'Mirror Mirror' before a crowd of people, occasionally taking pictures from their stands around the white castle they appear to be in. She closes her eyes and begins to sing, as her and Jaune begin to softly waltz.

"Mirror, tell me something. Tell me who's the loneliest of all..."

While she sings, the view sinks down into her scar-free reflection on the stage, the world tilting until she opens her eyes and finds herself in another place.

The light and shadows shifted until revealing her opponent, her Fiancé, Jaune Arc, Heir to the Arcadian Throne, a small yet powerful empire of which her father wanted influence with. He bows to her and she bows back, he unsheathes his sword and prepares his shield. She does the same, he swings and Weiss backflips just as he brings his blade down on where she was, the music changes now it wasn't just her singing, he began too.

(A/N: Bold is Jaune singing, normal italics is Weiss ;] also this song goes mega hard)

"As she waits at dawn, lookin' for a way. To escape her lonely heart... Let them swallow you!"

Gone was the soft piano replaced by electric guitars and drums and the loud punk rock singing of the Crown Prince

Weiss unsheathes her own rapier, Myrtenaster, and darts forward, getting a hit on him before twirling into a landing. Jaune swings again, but she dashes away and lands several spinning slashes on his armor, she was much faster than he anticipated. He retaliates when she uppercuts into the air, arcing his sword around and hitting Weiss' rapier, which she brings up just in time to merely knock her back.

"I won't fall down, you need me. We don't follow crowds, we mold them new. I'm not done, believe me. We won't settle down, we'll make them move. Make them mine, I WON'T LET THEM! I REPENT THEM, I WON'T LET THEM! (SWALLOW YOU.)"

When she slows down, Weiss looks up to see Jaune leaping into the air and hurling the sword down on her, then swinging it back up in an effort to get to his fast-moving target. He finally hits her blade again, and she is knocked away until she rolls back on her feet.

"I WON'T LET THEM!"

"SWALLOW YOU!"

With white energy now gathered on her fingertips, Weiss motions to the ground beneath her, and a snowflake symbol appears that propels her forward at extreme speeds. Despite the Jaune's attempts to slash at her, Weiss disappears and reappears all around it, leaping through the air using her glyphs and landing a blow with each pass.

"As it stands, you are no longer my friend. Eat my heart, take my soul. Let it burn you, I WONT LET GO!"

After a slash to the face, Jaune aims at Weiss' feet, who leaps over it and gets an undefended fist to her head. Weiss is launched yet again, but this time, her attempt to get back up is weak and unsure. A worried Jaune slowly approaches, Weiss on the stage closes her eyes, as she and Jaune lean in for a kiss, as the spotlight slowly fades.

"What's on my mind? Well I'm the farthest gone you'll find. You should take a look inside, you should-TEAR APART MY MIND"

"TAKE MY MINDDDDDD!"

The moon makes itself known when the clouds in front of it pass, showering Weiss and Jaune in its light as they continue to sing. In her mind, she stands back up, eyeing her new form of torture, with blood trailing down the left side of her face. Jaune looked with worry, he hadn't realized that with that one punch he had broken her aura.

'She's not ready.' He thought.

"I won't fall down, you need me. We don't follow crowds, we mold them new. I'm not done, believe me. We won't settle down, we'll make them move."

"Make them mine!"

She holds out her sword, spinning the revolver in the hilt until a red energy appears over the blade. Jaune sighs, and runs up to her, and drops his sword on her, but it meets her rapier and is deflected off. Surprising him with how hard his sword was deflected.

"Make them miiiii-iiiiii-iiiiine!"

Weiss switches it up and spins, a cyan light now creating a wave of ice when she strikes it into the ground that freezes him in place. He does his best attempt to swing again, but Weiss runs ahead and jumps on the sword. Myrtenaster is now glowing yellow, and she rolls on the broadsword and slashes at her foe, destroying the ice crystals in shards of purple but impaling his weapon into the ground. She rotates the hilt again and a snowflake circle spins under her when Jaune tries to bash her in the face with his shield, but she rolls out of the way and activates the glyph, launching the warrior up into the air and becoming trapped by Weiss' beams of blue energy.

"You should let me go, I'm not worth saving! We won't let them know, Let them carry on, Let them swallow you! you won't save me too."

With one final leap into the air, Myrtenaster glows with the white markings on its blade and Weiss descends onto Jaune. Shattering his aura, When her attack is done and she lands in a crouch, planting her heel on his breastplate. While pointing Myrtenaster at him directly.

"I yield." Was all she needed to hear.

"We won't let them swallow you!"

Weiss opens her eyes to see that she and Jaune ended the song and she and him were in a rather romantic pose with her leaning all the way to the ground and him holding her from touching the floor, the roar of applause from their audience snap her out of her stupor. She opens her eyes and looks around as if in a daze, then peers up at the slightly-scattered moon above, while Jaune brings her back to her feet.

They dips their heads

and bow to the crowd as the curtains close around them, but before they did, Jaune glanced up to a special section of the theater. A small viewing booth where three figures were watching the performance. He glared at the central figure as the curtains finally closed.

[There it is mb it took so long ive just been kinda lazy.]
