The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

"I will be taking Tess away now, Anna," Klaus said to the little Ice Princess who had grown attached to the Ice Banshee over the past few days they spent hunting treasures in the Forbidden Zone.

Anna and Tess were now inseparable, and Klaus knew letting go wouldn't be easy for Anna, so he allowed her to spend as much time as she could with Tess.

"Gather everyone. I have something to tell them before we leave," Klaus added, making Anna nod.

"I will see you later, Tess. The next time we meet, you will be much more powerful and even more beautiful. Just take your training seriously," Anna said to the Ice Banshee, hugging her before letting go.

"I will see you later, Anna," Tess said, her voice sounding like music to the ears. Her normal speech was like music, emphasizing her nature as a Banshee but also a siren in the making.

Klaus pulled both himself and Tess into the cube, leaving Anna to take a big sigh before leaving to inform everyone of what Klaus had said.

Inside the multi-dimensional cube, Klaus appeared in a field housing three beasts and a monster.

One was the Stone Carapace Tortoise, which he had pulled to his side while in Monsterland. He had yet to offer his blood, considering he had been rather busy the past few days.

The other three were the Radiant Hound, the Crimson Crown, and the Abyss Engine (Machine Beast). Now, he and Tess had also appeared.

"Looks like you four behaved yourselves. I expected some battle to happen," Klaus said.

"We are beasts, not savage monsters," the Radiant Hound said, causing Klaus to smirk. He could tell this comment didn't sit well with the Stone Carapace Tortoise, considering it was still a monster...

"If you aren't monsters, then why were you guarding that demon spider?"

"That was because we had no choice. One day, we were forced to surrender to its cause, or we would become food. Those of us who didn't want to die obeyed and surrendered," the Radiant Hound said, causing Klaus to smirk.

Though he knew what they said might be true, he couldn't understand why these beasts were much more relatable than most humans.

Perhaps his Star Monarch bloodline was affecting him, considering he had been more like a tamer back in his 9th incarnation. Basically, he spent more time with beasts and monsters than with humans.

He seemed to understand the beasts and monsters more now, and as such, he could even sense the hurt in the Radiant Hound's voice.

"Don't worry too much about the past. I promise to make you all become the best versions of yourselves, and that is what I am going to do."

Klaus turned into his elf form and produced five drops of blood, which he immediately froze in ice.

"I will be sending you five to five direct spaces where you will consume this blood. The moment you do, your next evolution will begin.

It will last for a month or perhaps two. So relax and be prepared to handle your tribulations when you are released."

Klaus looked at the five beasts. They were also looking at him like he was prey that could be consumed. However, they could tell any attempt to attack would be the last time they drew breath.

"Any questions?" Klaus asked, but the beasts didn't ask anything.

"Since there are no questions, then see you in a month," he said, snapping his fingers. The five beasts vanished.

The five drops of blood also vanished, appearing in each of the five spaces, or more like the dimensions Klaus had created.

The Stone Carapace Tortoise appeared in a rocky region filled with tall and colossal mountain ranges that, from afar, one could tell was the perfect place for brute fighters.

The Radiant Hound appeared in a lightning garden filled with thousands of scented plants, some of which were harnessing the power of the wind.

The Radiant Hound was a creature of lightning and wind, so Klaus sent it to a rather cozy dimension.

The Crimson Crown was sent to a dimension of slaughter. Naturally, the stench of blood was abundant there. Since it had an affinity for the blood element, it was the best place for it.

As for the Abyss Machine, Klaus sent it to a dimension of magma, lava, and ice.

The dimension would benefit its body, which was basically made of different weapons. Then there was the flame element, which it harnessed through its weapons.

There was also the half-part made of ice. It was like a yin-yang dimension, only this time, instead of light and darkness, there was fire and ice, showing the disparity between the two elements.

As for Tess, he sent her to a dimension of pure ice. Her settings were full of ice, considering even her body was made of ice. So it was like sending her to the most comfortable place a person could find herself.

The multi-dimensional cube was a rather heaven-defying item with many functions. Klaus created the dimensions all from his imagination.

He had that much control over the cube, so he wasn't holding himself back. The only thing he couldn't do yet was create a realm that contained laws.

Those ones open automatically as he rises through the ranks. But this was enough to make the five beasts feel at home and start their evolution.

Currently, Klaus had two powerful beings in the Chaos and Void realms and six powerful beasts in the various dimensions he had created. The only thing left was for them to finish their evolution, and then Earth would become much safer.

After staying for a few seconds after he sent the beasts away, he left the cube and went to meet the team. They had a blast in the Forbidden Zone, but every good thing must come to an end.

The one-week relaxation was over, so they had to go back. But before going, Klaus had a few words to say and something he planned on telling those who hadn't heard him say it yet.

The battle in the Forbidden Zone had opened his eyes, and as such, he wanted to make preparations soon before his time to handle his tribulation came.

He gave himself three weeks before the last core would form, and so, he wanted to handle the most pressing matters first.

When he arrived at the meeting area, everyone was present, including War God Liu Yang and the various Grand Elders and Overlords.
