The Heavens: From Naruto to sign in

Chapter 90: Chapter 90

It's hard to be a ninja.

It's even harder to be a ninja who has to hide their true self.

But the hardest of all…

Is being a handsome, long-suffering, and perpetually undercover ninja!

Not long ago, Naruto and his team had encountered Orochimaru, just like in the original script.

And of course—no surprises there.

Naruto's Nine-Tails chakra had been sealed by Orochimaru.

Sasuke had been cursed with the Heaven Seal.

Then Orochimaru vanished.

Afterward, Sakura was left to face the Sound Ninja trio on her own.

She set up traps.

She showed grit.

She even cut her own hair, fueled by pride and desperation.

It all looked dramatic and noble.

But in the end…

It was still a complete one-sided beatdown.

Just when things were about to go south completely, Team Ino-Shika-Cho happened to pass by.

And under the leadership of their new "big sister," Oyama Ino, they took action immediately.

But this was no ordinary Ino-Shika-Cho team anymore.

They didn't follow the traditional formation and tactics of the past.

Ino had learned powerful sword techniques under Yoruha's guidance—

Becoming a fierce frontliner.

Shikamaru, the brilliant strategist, had designed an entirely new formation built around her strengths.

With Ino as the core, the three of them executed a synchronized assault—

And obliterated the Sound Ninja team, not even leaving a trace.

After that, Ino led the combined teams toward the rendezvous point they had previously agreed on with Yoruha.

"Tch," Naruto clicked his tongue, glancing at Sasuke.

"Sas, you could at least say thank you to Ino and the others. Is it really that hard?"

"If it wasn't for them, we'd probably still be out cold right now."

Naruto was used to Sasuke playing it cool every day.

But honestly—

Was all this brooding and cold-shouldering really necessary?

Every time Sasuke acted like he was in control, he'd just get smacked down again.

Was this cycle really meaningful?

"Shut up, Naruto!" Sasuke growled.

"I'm the one who's going to kill that man. How could I fall here of all places?!"

But before he could finish his brooding…

The pain from the curse mark surged through him again.

His legs gave out—

And he collapsed right into Naruto's arms.

"See?" Naruto said with a deadpan look.

"You don't even need Yoruha to beat you up anymore. Anyone here could pull a 'Yoruha Combo' on you right now."

He sighed and gently pushed Sasuke out of his arms.

Truth be told, Naruto had gradually accepted Sasuke as a teammate.

But this guy…

Still refused to see himself clearly.

He was only pretending to be strong in front of his own team.

What would happen if Yoruha showed up and saw this?

Wouldn't Sasuke get smacked around again?

So pathetic.

But…

It was fine.

"I, Uzumaki Naruto, will save him!"

After all, Yoruha had once said—

"You have the talent of 'Talk-no-Jutsu'."

But lately…

Naruto was starting to doubt it.

Was he really that good at preaching?

Maybe… not.

Soon after…

Yoruha arrived with Hinata, Shino, and Kiba.

When the siblings reunited—

They naturally showered everyone with a heavy dose of public affection.

Even the trees were getting secondhand embarrassment.

Then, Yoruha handed out the extra scrolls he had acquired.

With that, everyone now had what they needed to submit their exam.

"Alright," Yoruha said casually, "I'll take you all to the Central Tower to submit your scrolls. After that, I've got something else to take care of."

"Something else?" Ino and Hinata blinked, caught off guard.

"Brother, what else do you have to do? Want us to help?" Ino offered.

"I've actually been wanting to go hunting in this forest for a long time," Yoruha said with a mischievous smile in his eyes.

"But I never got the chance. Now that I'm here, of course I'm gonna check out the local wildlife."

The look on his face was a mix of excitement and mischief.

Over the years, Yoruha had often taken his friends into nearby forests to hunt and cook game.

But eventually…

Even the wild beasts seemed to recognize him.

They would scatter the moment he got close—

Running for their lives before he even drew his weapon.

So the group often ended up catching only small or weak prey.

Honestly, it had become a little boring.

So this time, his reasoning seemed legitimate—

And his friends had no reason to doubt him.

After all…

It was just Yoruha being Yoruha.
