The Greece Antagonist

Chapter 117: Look at Me, Bastard!

Meanwhile, behind the Thessaly Camp, in a densely forested area filled with the scent of wine.

"Splash~"

Accompanied by a crisp splashing sound, a wide-mouthed cup-shaped pool filled with crimson wine swayed with blood-like ripples, when a flippant blonde youth first frantically groped his body, then his face lit up with surprise.

"I'm not dead?"

"You were..."

"Ah?"

"But you've come back to life."

With an indifferent reply, a white-haired youth in a black cloak emerged from the shadows of the dense forest.

Jason in the pool saw the face of the newcomer and his expression was immediately taken over by astonishment.

"Asclepius? You're still alive, too!"

"Like you, I've died once."

"Wait a moment, I'm a bit confused, what's going on?"

Jason rubbed his somewhat groggy head, asking in bewilderment.

"Look around you..." the Medicine God replied irritably, his voice tinged with impatience as if he had given this explanation more than once.

Jason followed the direction the Medicine God was pointing and glanced at the walls of the pool. He saw that they were inscribed with lines of Hermes Script prayer, and he began to recite the content unconsciously.

"The faded, the aged, the decayed, all summoned back by me..."

"Entrusted to me, taught by me, obey me..."

"Bound by the oath of my incarnation, I shall pity these sorrowful spirits..."

After reading, Jason was still somewhat clueless and continued to ask in confusion.

"What is this?"

"The resurrection secret ceremony of the Dionysian Sect."

The Medicine God replied expressionlessly, as if he were a machine chanting lines.

Upon hearing this, Jason's groggy head cleared a bit.

He was aware of the Dionysian Sect, a mortal faction that worshiped Dionysus, the god of Resurrection from Death, who was also known as one of the aliases of the Shepherd of the Temporal World in War God Mountain.

Realizing this, Jason had an epiphany.

"Is this a blessing from that great person?"

"Yes, do you remember the Divine Wine that the Argo Expeditionary Army drank together before setting out?"

The Medicine God began to explain the whole story.

"It seemed to have been mixed with the Divine Blood of the Great God and my latest semi-finished elixir of immortality. If we were to die and our bodies to collapse, the elixir of immortality would briefly ensure that our spirits didn't extinguish. The blessings and secret ceremony here then would call our spirits back through the Divine Blood's positioning, and finally, allow us to return to the flesh and revive here."

After understanding the story, Jason looked down at the crimson pool water beneath him and was utterly amazed.

"All that we drank, and all of this, it's all Divine Blood?"

"Correct."

The Medicine God nodded and mused quietly.

"Just as that Great God said, 'Our blood is thicker than water, our bloodline is connected,' he not only said it but also achieved it. Before his death, he would do everything in his power to preserve everyone's life."

"The battle is imminent, he spared no expense of his Divine Blood to construct this secret ceremony here, to save the lives of us fifty. It's indeed worth dying and reviving again to be associated with such a person!"

Jason looked toward the city outskirts where a towering golden flame blazed, the admiration in his eyes fierce and brilliant.

The Medicine God waved his hand, cutting off Jason's musings, and asked seriously, "Alright, report on the military situation now. Have Hercules and the others reached the Titan Temple?"

Jason shook his head, answering honestly, "I don't know. When we separated, the team still had a third of the journey left."

The Medicine God looked at Jason in surprise, "You died before reaching the destination?"

That wasn't supposed to happen, wasn't this fellow always the fastest to flee, the luckiest of them all?

"I had no choice, the situation was dire at the time, and Hercules had lost control of his emotions. After I slapped him and woke him up, I stayed behind with Telamon and Admetos to cover the rear," Jason relayed reluctantly, but there was an undeniable pride between his words.

Hearing the braggadocio, the Medicine God rolled his eyes.

"Alright, alright, I get it, you're amazing. Now get dressed and come out!"

"Eh?"

"What eh? The Great Temple is in urgent need, we need hands to help! You think just because you've died once you can start slacking?"

As he threw the clothes and armor to Jason, the Medicine God pointed toward the glowing specks coalescing inside the pool, his tone tinged with annoyance.

"Besides, there are so many others queued up behind you waiting for their turn to be fleshed, don't hog the spot!"

Upon hearing this, Jason hurriedly climbed out of the Sacred Pool, donned his clothes and armor, grabbed the weapons prepared by the Medicine God, and sprinted toward the Great Temple.

And on the way, he discovered with amazement that both his Divine Power and his senses had significantly increased.

It seemed that after experiencing revival from death, he had also received a portion of Divine Grace.

What if he died once more?

"You underworld bastards, look over here, your grandpa Jason is back!"

With eyes shining, Jason carrying his Round Shield and dagger, shouted loudly as he rushed towards the Magic Beasts and giants in the sacrificial grounds.

The Medicine God shook his head and continued to wait by the glowing Sacred Pool, ready to fish out a hero with a clear account of the battles below.

Meanwhile, outside Thessaly City.

Seeing the Magic Beasts and giants rushing into the city but being halted outside the Great Temple, unable to advance an inch further, Kronos was furious.

"Worthless! They're all worthless!"

His ten arms flailed rapidly, smashing all around; hundreds of Magic Beasts and giants exploded into clouds of blood mist amid the shockwaves of Space Authority.

After briefly venting the rage in his heart, Kronos's blood-red eyes glared hatefully at Dionysus Luo En, his hatred magnified to its limits.
