The Golem Mage

Chapter 361: Golems improvement?

While Alec was struggling to defeat the Chimera, his other Golems were diligently farming experience points for him, in hopes of potentially propelling him to the prestigious Tier 3 Mage Realm in the near future.

Contributing significantly to Alec's experience point gain were Oni and the Hive Queen, who were on the verge of encountering a Orc hunting party.

Alec had chosen a location which just so happens to be at the edge of the lower regions facing the Orc territory,

Then Oni and Hive Queen had inadvertently transformed this spot into their very own hunting grounds, looking for Orcs, as they now perceived the Orcs as prey rather than the predators they were to the demonic beast.

Perched atop a tree, the Hive Queen informed Oni,

"There is an Orc team nearby, and we should be encountering them soon."

She had dispatched some of her offspring to act as scouts and relay information to her, allowing her to discern the approaching Orc team.

A wicked grin crept across Oni's mask as he let out an eerie laugh.

His mask's expression seemed to shift with his mood, Surrounding him were three formidable Red oni, summoned by Oni himself.

These peak Tier 1 Oni were highly skilled in battle and merciless, However, in order for them to progress to the next realm, Oni needed to enter the Tier 3 golem realm; otherwise, they would remain perpetually trapped in the Peak Tier 1 realm, unable to enter the Tier 2 realm .

Despite the fact that their master was merely a golem, it had developed a consciousness upon creation by Alec.

And combined with the system evolving its consciousness through various evolution stages, allowed it to surpass the limitations of a typical golem.

Now, it possessed the ability to summon oni demons, a power that was beyond what it was originally designed for.

Summoning abilities were not exclusive to Alec's golem alone but were also possessed by all captain rank golems.

But each of Alec's captain rank golem had a Unique summoning ability, that was directly linked to the way the system rebranded their awakened consciousness, but since it was hard to create a captain ranked golem some might see Alec's golems ability as something unreal.

Standing beside Oni were the three Red oni, each having a small horn on their head.

As one wielded a club, another fought with bare hands, and the last utilized two blades in battle.

They gazed at Oni with reverence, eagerly awaiting his command.

"How many of them are coming, Queen?" Oni inquired.

"Approximately thirty," the Hive Queen replied.

"Based on my observations, there is a highly formidable peak Tier 3 Orc leading the group, accompanied by at least three other early Tier 3 orcs, I suggest regrouping with Legion to eliminate them, as it would make it more easier" she added after a moment of contemplation.

"Why should we even team up with that metal freak?" Oni challenged. Read new adventures at My Virtual Library Empire

" All he does is steal kills and boast about his weapon mastery being the highest, So what if they have a few Tier 3 members?, If we don't match up to them, we'll never be able to enter the Tier 3 realm ourselves. Trust me, we must become Tier 3 golems before Legion does, or else we'll be reduced to insignificant side characters once more."

Oni's four wings transformed into hands, each gripping a different blade made with darkness attributes.

Normally, Hive Queen would have objected to such a risky move, but she couldn't ignore the fact that Alec, their master, had summoned her less frequently since Legion entered the Tier 2 realm.

"Let's do it; they are almost here," the Hive Queen decided.

However, before Oni could reply, an arrow was shot at him, swiftly, he deflected it using one of his blades.

"Why are you all so rude?, Can't you even show some respect?" Oni exclaimed, but the peak Tier 3 Orc responded with words in orckish language and launched another arrow towards Oni.

Once again, he deflected it effortlessly.

However, this time Oni noticed that the force behind the arrow was stronger than before.

The Orc began charging towards him, but Oni remained unfazed.

He was solely focused on the peak Tier 3 Orc that had infuriated him.

"Queen, I'll handle the troublesome ones, Can you take care of the rest for me?" Oni requested, already dashing forward to engage the Tier 3 Orcs in battle.

"No problem!"

The Hive Queen replied with a slight smile, Ten spider babies descended from above, but this time there were two that stood out.

They had red stripes running along their black metallic bodies.

Bang!

Oni collided with the first group of Orcs blocking his path, and carnage ensued.

His blades moved with exceptional speed, precision, and accuracy, beheading the Orcs with ease.

As he swiftly dispatched three of the Orcs, making his way towards the four Tier 3 Orcs.

His Onis followed suit, smashing the heads of the Orcs that stood in their way before continuing to trail behind their master.

The remaining Orcs planned to flank Oni from both the front and back, but they were suddenly met with cries of pain from behind.

As they turned their heads, they saw the Hive Queen and her golem spider children wreaking havoc.

The Hive Queen's legs moved like flying blades, piercing the skulls of the Orcs in a single swift strike, ending lives without warnings and fast, while her black babies absorbed the little mana to nourish their mother.

While the spider babies with red stripes fed on the blood of the Orcs their mother killed, growing stronger with each drop.

They took turns sucking the dead bodies dry, as one always stayed close to the Hive Queen , creating a deadly cycle, as they grew bigger with each kill.

Every time an Orc approached the Hive Queen, they were met with the sturdy bodies of the robust spiders, acting as a perfect shield.

One unfortunate Orc found himself bitten and convulsed until death, his body withering away as the particular red stripe spider only left him after sucking his blood dry.

Those two red stripe spiders had been summoned to replace two of the bombing spiders that died

However, they had quickly reached the Peak Tier 1 realm due to the quality of blood they had been drinking.

The remaining Orcs looked at the Hive Queen and her children, who had spread them out in fear.

It was the first time they had felt a fear worse than simply dying; they would prefer to die a fast death at the hands of the Hive Queen as honourable warriors, but who were they to decide?

The way Hive Queen children killed was gruesome and terrifying.

They would bite and infest their victims with toxicity, while simultaneously drawing and sucking the Orcs' Mana and Qi force since they could not consume much mana from the Orcs, which body mana is converted to Force fast.

This Qi force seemed to have an additional effect on them, making their eight legs sharper and more lethal, Now, they could easily impale the Orcs with their strikes.

Even the Hive Queen didn't have to do anything now; as her ten children, were all Peak Tier 1 golems and was as strong as Tier 2 Orcs, so they were killing the Orcs effortlessly.

Although the Orcs should have had the upper hand, but the spiders fought recklessly.

And for every baby killed, the Hive Queen would just give birth to another one instantly, using the mana her children had stolen to accelerate the birth process.

She continued to spawn them relentlessly.

If the Orcs couldn't stop the Hive Queen's birthing process, they could forget about surviving, as she could grind them to their deaths.

And when the Orcs tried to prevent the spider babies from draining their mana, the Hive Queen would assist her babies with her web entanglement from time to time.

It was in this moment that the Orcs began to feel the dread of fighting an enemy that seemed to have no weak points, causing them to turn and flee, as the combination of the Hive Queen and her children was crazy.

However, when the Hive Queen glanced at Oni, she realized that he had already killed three of the Tier 3 Orcs.

Yet, his three Oni were also dead, and he seemed to lack the mana to summon them again.

Not all of Alec's golems had the ability to summon creatures that could absorb mana to replenish themselves like Hive Queen.

The Hive Queen watched as the peak Tier 3 Orc thrust his spear towards the exhausted Oni.
