The Golem Mage

Alec, who had been in discussion with the system spirit, finally realized that he hadn't felt any pain while upgrading his Agility stats.

It dawned on him that his high endurance had not only increased his physical capabilities but also his pain tolerance.

"Well, let's get rid of the bastard that's making things difficult for my golems," Alec declared, dashing towards the location he had designated for Butcher and Saint, with Titan and the system spirit golem following closely behind.

Meanwhile, the battle between the Tier 4 demonic beast and Butcher and Saint raged on. Butcher summoned all five of his storm elemental golems, hoping to slow down the Tier 4 demonic beast that had a lions face in front of them.

However, a single roar from the lion's head unleashed a shock wave that quickly infiltrated their bodies, resulting in their swift demise.

Butcher was disheartened to discover that his elementals which were only peak Tier 1 summons could not even withstand one attack from the lion faced beast

And that was because they were too low level and was no threat to a Tier 4 demonic beast, but they would never reach the Tier 2 realm unless Butcher , their summoner, advanced to the next realm.

"F***, this bastard is too overpowered!, Even my summons can't test its power, We would have to engage," Butcher observed, slightly panicked.

Suddenly, he heard the sound of a sword being dragged along the ground, He turned to see Sword Saint, who was meant to be more composed, charging towards the demonic beast.

Butcher couldn't let him charge alone, especially since he partly blamed himself for their predicament, Gripping his lightning battle axe tightly, Butcher ran towards the battle.

As Saint entered striking range, he put more strength into his grip before raising his great sword high above his head.

His eyes locked with those of the disdainful lion as he showed no sign of fear or emotion.

With a powerful swing, his sword descended, causing flames to ignite along its path.

BANG!

To Saint's surprise, his powerful strike was halted by one of the lion's wings.

"Pests,"

The lion growled in a low tone as it swiftly struck out with its claws, releasing a surge of energy that hit Saint, sending him hurtling towards a nearby tree.

Even Butcher, who had closed in on the lion, found himself being propelled towards another tree by the sheer force of the beast's forelimb.

The lion stared at its numb forelimb which was a result of Butcher releasing discharge tiny bolts when he had been hit , a sense of unease creeping over the demonic beast after swiping at Butcher.

Butcher's voice echoed through the forest as a lightning spark raced towards the lion faced demonic beast with incredible speed.

But Despite the numbness, the lion's eyes still tracked Butcher's movements.

"Why won't you just die!"

The lion roared, extending one of its wings like a weapon to clash with Butcher's lightning axe, which he had put all his strength into.

Unfortunately, when the strike finally landed, the wings effortlessly absorbed the lightning bolt that butcher was so proud of.

In a blur of movement, the lion darted with astonishing speed, even Butcher struggling to follow its motions.

Baring its teeth, the lion lunged at Butcher's elemental body hoping to bite its head of, but was caught off guard when an ice shard that was shot towards it entered its mouth and exploded, causing it to stagger back momentarily losing butcher.

"We arrived just in time, fortunately you haven't suffered any irreversible damage, That's a relief, Now, let's see who you truly are,"

Alec said, directing his attention away from his golems to analyse the lion, which looked less like a lion with its wings and different claws.

"Well, we're screwed, It seems I just found the jinx of our team it's the system spirit," Alec lamented, realizing that the chimera was a Mid Tier 4 demonic beast, as he remembered the system spirit just told him that it would be hard to defeat a Mid Tier 4 demonic beast.

While inspecting the chimera, Alec caught its lack of interest in him.

"Shit!" Alec cursed, instinctively wielding his bone katana to block the strike, Unaware of his own movements, his body had reacted swiftly on its own.

To his surprise, the tail wasn't ordinary as it belongs to a snake, The chimera had a snake for a tail, and the creature wrapped its fangs tightly around Alec's bone katana.

As Titan approached the chimera and swung his mace, the beast's wing moved to met Titan's attack, underestimating him as if looking down on him.

But Titan had a different plan for the chimera, as he started Rotating his spike mace, he invoked his low-tier battle skill.

With a shout, he created an icy vortex that drew in the chimera's wings.

As the chimera was dragged towards Titan, Alec held onto its snake tail, exacerbating its movement.

Closing in on the chimera, Titan conjured an ice gauntlet on his right hand and delivered a powerful uppercut to its jaw, sending it flying back until it crashed onto the ground.

"Next time, don't underestimate me!" Titan's cold voice resounded.

However, the chimera quickly got back on its feet, cracking its neck back into place with one move.

"That actually hurt, Who would have thought a Tier 3 lifeform could still hurt me?, Well, that ends here, I will kill your creator first, forcing you to be destroyed by the forces of the world,"

The chimera sneered, a cunning glint in its eyes, as it Flapped its wings, and increased its speed as it dashed towards Alec, viewing him as a mere peak Tier 2 mage who had recently broken through and posed no threat. It had disregarded Alec all along and only saw Titan as the main threat.

But despite Titan's desire to stop the chimera, it moved at its fastest speed, and its snake tail emitted a green smoke that temporarily obscured the view of both Titan and itself,

But it was confident that it would attack Alec once it emerged from the mist, the chimera believed that no one could escape it within its realm, talk less of Alec that had not even step in the Tier 3 Mage realm.

However, the moment it stepped out of the green fog, it was met with another powerful uppercut punch.

The force of Alec's punch propelled the chimera even farther than before, causing significant internal injuries this time.

In that moment, the chimera took the opportunity to focus on Alec.

It observed Alec's punch to its Jaws that inflicted great injuries as there was blood dripping, it also noticed the pair of red gauntlets on Alec's hands.

The flaming tattoos came on around Alec's body gradually transformed into an armor.

"I suppose I appeared weak to you because of my realm, huh? Well, I'm sorry to disappoint, but now that I can summon the Red Salamander armor set for a longer duration, I'll make sure to inflict serious damage on you,"

Alec declared confidently, as he then turned his attention to Titan, who had located him thanks to the commotion caused by the strike.

Titan used his hands to cast an icy breath, dispersing the green fog.
