The Fruit of Infinity

Chapter 10: The mysterious stranger, again

As Cherry departed, I hopped into the shower and cleansed my divine vessel with sensitivity and intricate precision.

After all, that strange messenger never said what time to come out, so they can wait.

I wonder where they got my contact? I have to tighten my security, really.

I bathed for an hour and half, before stepping out of the bathroom:

I could almost hear a voice from heaven saying, "This dude is him! Worship him, alright? In him, I'm super, mega, duper pleased!!"

I wonder what voice that was, but they absolutely understand the reality.

I left the bathroom, and entered my room. Then I saw it;

Crawling around the room, a giant cockroach in a sailor's uniform. Particularly, my book shelves were being ransacked.

"Uhmmm." I decided to ask. "Cherry, what are you… doing there?"

She turned to see me, and gasped, her face beet red.

"…I'll find them, I swear!" She exclaimed, running out of the room.

Find what? She's not referring to those magazines, right?

And seriously, how did she unlock the room, initially?! Real scary!

Now, let's hit the training room for another two hours; have dinner with my family; THEN, trounce that fool who's challenging me.

"Too-chan, where are you going? Diner's over here." Mother asked, pointing at the dining, as I was leaving—in gym shorts—out of the house.

The training room, crafted by my father, was located at the back of our house.

"I'm going for a very, VERY disappointingly short training, at the back." I made a slight frown, "All because I want to have dinner with my sweet mother. You owe me one, okay?" I replied as I vamoosed.

Mother's face was red, huh? Then, SUCCESS!

First; that brat—Cherry—is away, for some reason. Of course, she'll be back soon, but there's no better moment to sneak out to the training room than now.

Second; now that I've buttered up Mother, I don't have to deal with any of her nagging, till I get back from training.

Third; when I said "disappointingly short time" I meant I'd spend two hours, instead of six. I usually spend 6 hours in the training room.

Pfffft, hahaha! That strange Challenger will so be pissed.

If I'll have to take my heavenly self, outside in this cold, he'll have to pay a grim price of waiting in the same cold for me.

Maybe it's just a fan of mine seeking an autograph, though.

*

I went outside the house, where I noticed some young ladies passing by.

Wink!

I flashed them a wink, and they literally froze, extremely flustered.

Yes, that is how it should be… I don't blame them, though, I was wearing just gym shorts. So my god-level chest, chiseled to perfection like alabaster, was on full display.

My body is such a blessing and a curse.

I ignored the drooling ladies and went toward the back of my house.

It's training time!!

As I opened the training room door, it was like I opened a new wrapped package.

Ecstasy!!!!!!

The weapon vault in the far end was as beautiful as ever: starring different hand weapons from all over the world.

My father is a menace.

I'll train using all of them!

*

I ended up spending four hours at the training room—not nearly enough time for me to reach orgasm, but there's dinner, so.

My gaze fell on that extra-large dumbbell, at the side. It was the kind that'd make THE ROCK weep, if he tried to pick it up.

I proceeded there smoothly, with the grace of an emperor, and lifted it up.

Hmph, so light! I need something even heavier.

I thought, then I dropped the dumbbell, putting my weight on it. I lifted myself up, using myself as the lift.

"Still not there yet!" I thought, dissatisfied.

Still upside down, with one hand, I stretched and held another dumbbell. I threw it up and it landed on one of my legs. I held it steady, balancing it's weight, as it combined with my own. One hand still on the dumbbell laying on the ground, I began lifting myself again.

Ah, not nearly enough pressure, but I can manage this.

"MONSTER!!" came the deafening yell from the entrance.

"Quit yelling, Cherry. It's almost 11 PM." I rebuked her.

"Exactly," she shot at me a glare, "10:30 PM. Dinner's already over!"

GASP!!!

I... I somehow, completely forgot!

Getting myself back, I sprung up, in a somersault, the dumbbell hurling up as a result.

But, as I landed, subsequently, the heavy metal landed on my palm, which was stretched upward, with a thud.

"Bakemono." Cherry mumbled.

Like she's one to talk; how can you look exactly like your mother? EXACTLY like your mother!

"Look, Cherry," I started apologizing. "I didn't do this on purpose or anything. I just..." Before I could finish expressing regret, Cherry came towards me and... Hugged me?

Hugged me...? She's hugging me?

Suddenly, I feel like my life's in danger. Where's the knife, find the knife?!

"Big bro..." She started. "You realize that this was how it started with Dad?"

Started…? Oh my God!

"Mother is Father's sister, and it all started when she buried her face in his chest, like you're doing no—"

"Shut up, idiot! That's not it!" Her face still buried in my exquisite, museum-worthy chest, she continued. "When you left, 6 years ago, both I and Mom thought you'd never return... Mom cried, you know? All of a sudden, you decided to go with Dad, That asshole... I cried too, you know?"

She raised her face meeting mine. She brushed off a strand of deep brown hair, as her also deep brown eyes dilating in gloom.

"Makoto, you're not going to be like Dad, right? You won't leave Mom... No, you won't leave US, right?"

I can't believe this phony—acting like she's impenetrable all the time. Geez!

I never took notice of the hurt I was causing them. I was selfish, I admit it.

But they don't understand why Dad left, and they probably never will.

It's quite sad, for Dad... And them.

But, the saving grace is, I don't really want to join Father in his Job.

I don't care that much about the world to risk my life for it, anyway.

I think I'll stay with my family... They need me right now.

"Alright, alright, enough of the touching." I said, pulling Cherry away from my ultra-clear and polished chest. "Look, I'm not leaving this time. Actually, the reason I left before... I couldn't achieve my goals. Or rather, I had a change of heart. So, I'm here for you and Mom, okay?"

Cherry rushed me in yet another hug. "Idiot..." She muttered.

"You little girl, you can't just get enough of your brother's body, huh? That's no good, you understand. Siblings can't get married. Oh, what a sin my existence is maki—SMASHHH!"

My foolishness was interrupted with a German-suplex from Cherry, so intense, I had to yell "smashhh!"

"STUPID BROTHER! Like I'll ever marry anything like you!!"

Thing? What did she mean by calling me a "thing?"

As she ran out, she added, "I'll microwave your food, we're having that diner whether you like it or not!!"

I was joking with that comment on marriage, actually. Why did she take it so seriously?

Though—I was caught unaware—that German suplex hurt! Why is she so strong?!

*

On the dinner table—10:40 PM—I sat, defeated by my mother and little sister, having curry.

They'd eaten already, so it was just me eating, and them watching.

It was very creepy and embarrassing. Especially as Mother couldn't stop smiling.

Ti, ti, ti!

"Ah, no phones at the dining, Too-chan!" Mother yelled, as my phone beeped.

I ignored her, of course.

But who the hell's contacting me this late?

Despite my smiting beauty, I have little, to no friends—Maybe they're scared of my divine nature?

Oh wait! I do have one friend! That stranger, I forgot about them!

I took out my phone and saw that it was actually them.

Ah, they sent another message.

"If you don't come out, right now, I'll come over to your house, myself. You won't like what I'll do... To your family..."

...I felt my heart sink as I stared at my phone, cold sweat rolling down my face.

My... Family...?

To be honest, I never intended to leave at all. I wanted to frustrate the challenger, but it seems I have no choice.

Whatever this person wants, if they'll threaten my family, I hope they're prepared to die by my hands?

"Mom, I'm full." I muttered, standing up. "I have to go somewhere now."

"Ah, wait, Too-chan! This late? And you barely ate anything!"

"Mom, I know I've hurt you and Cherry, but see... I love you all very much, and I'll never let anyone hurt you... The hurting is for me and Father, only!" I exclaimed.

"Everything was cool, until the end, stupid brother!" Cherry retorted.

She held my mother's shoulder, "Don't worry, Mom. Let's trust Makoto this time."

Mother was shocked that Cherry could back me up for once in her bratty life, so she let me go. Only leaving these words; "make sure to bring her home, someday, okay Too-chan?"

Like, what the hell?! How did she come to the conclusion I'm going to meet with a girl?!

As for my challenger... They're definitely losing a tooth, tonight.
