The Forgotten Dream Maker

Chapter 8: The Buried Secrets

**

After Youssef confronted the dark part of himself, he felt a temporary peace, but he knew his journey wasn't over yet. There were still secrets to uncover and other forces in the dream world that had yet to reveal themselves. Youssef and Layla decided to search for the source of the Eternal Darkness's power and how to destroy it once and for all.

That night, Youssef placed his hand on the television screen and entered the dream world with Layla. This time, they found themselves in a strange place resembling an ancient, abandoned city. The buildings were crumbling, and the streets were empty, but they felt that something was waiting for them in the heart of this city.

Layla said, "This city is the place of forgotten memories. Here, we can find the answers we're looking for."

They began wandering among the old buildings, and each step felt like they were diving deeper into the history of this world. After a while, they found a large building that seemed to have been a temple in the past. On the temple's door were strange engravings that appeared to tell the story of the Dream Makers.

Youssef said, "These engravings seem to carry a message."

Layla replied, "Yes, they tell the story of the first Dream Maker and how he faced an evil force similar to the Eternal Darkness."

They began reading the engravings and learned that the first Dream Maker was named "Noor." Noor possessed great power, but he faced an evil force called "The First Darkness," which was the source of the Eternal Darkness. The First Darkness sought to control the dream world, but Noor managed to stop it by burying its heart in a secret place.

Youssef said, "If we want to stop the Eternal Darkness, we need to find the heart of the First Darkness."

Layla said, "But the place where the heart is buried is protected by traps and riddles. We must be careful."

They entered the temple and found themselves in a large room filled with ancient statues and walls covered in strange symbols. In the center of the room was a locked door, and on the door was a riddle.

Youssef read the riddle: "I am something you see but cannot touch, I begin with night and end with day. What am I?"

Youssef thought for a moment, then said, "It's the shadow."

The door opened, and they entered another room, where they found themselves facing a large mirror. This time, the mirror reflected the image of another city, a city filled with light and life.

Layla said, "This is the Lost City, a place where we can find the heart of the First Darkness."

They stepped through the mirror and found themselves in a beautiful city, where flowers and fruit-bearing trees grew. But they knew this city hid something dangerous.

After a while, they found a large building that seemed to have been a palace in the past. Inside the palace was a secret room, and in the center of the room was a locked box.

Youssef said, "This is the place. Here lies the heart of the First Darkness."

They approached the box but felt a strange energy emanating from it. Youssef said, "We must be careful."

They opened the box and found inside a black heart that seemed to pulse with evil energy. Youssef said, "This is the source of the Eternal Darkness's power."

Layla said, "We must destroy it, but we'll need great power to do so."

Youssef gathered all his energy and tried to create a large circle of light around the heart. But the heart was strong and began pushing the light away.

Youssef said, "I can't do this alone."

Layla said, "You're not alone. I'm here with you."

Layla combined her power with Youssef's, and together they created a large circle of light. The circle began pushing the black heart away until it started to disintegrate.

In the end, the black heart disappeared, and Youssef and Layla felt relief. But they knew the battle wasn't over yet. The Eternal Darkness was still out there, but they had significantly weakened it.

Youssef and Layla returned to the shop, knowing that their journey wasn't over. They had to prepare for the final confrontation and protect the dream world from the evil forces.

But Youssef knew he wasn't alone anymore. He had Layla, and he had the knowledge he needed. And he knew he had to keep fighting, no matter the cost.
