Chapter 694: Chapter 694: Grand Relocation Spell! Move! Move! Move!
"The problems in the Sea of the Dead are quite severe!" As Muria began to draw his demi-plane to devour Blackstone Harbor, a trace of worry surfaced in his mind. Mikaela had cut off Blackstone Harbor too easily.
It was so easy that Muria felt as if the entire Ghost Sea was like countless demi-plane fragments pieced together, ready to shatter with the slightest movement.
"This secret technique is flawed! No wonder Narlok agreed so readily. This technique is garbage, with too many deficiencies to be fixed."
Muria was very dissatisfied with this secret technique. If he really used it to continuously devour demi-planes, the Ghost Sea would become part of his demi-plane, and even a slight movement would cause it to shatter easily. "But for now, I'll have to use it!"
It felt like carrying a mountain on his back while running four hundred kilometers. Muria felt incredibly tired, but he finally managed to stuff Blackstone Harbor, along with the surrounding sea area, into his demi-plane. This sense of accomplishment filled him with satisfaction and contradiction.
However, due to the intense death energy contained in the Blackstone Harbor fragments, Muria did not merge it with his original demi-plane land but placed it directly below, parallel to it.
But the moment Blackstone Harbor merged, Muria keenly noticed that his originally vibrant demi-plane land was affected. In the peripheral areas, some flowers and trees began to wither, with dead and barren patches spreading. The life force and death energy clashed.
"When I get back, I'll ask Mikaela for a demi-plane containing heavenly laws." A thought popped into Muria's mind. "It doesn't need to be large. As long as the energy it releases can cover my original land and purify the death energy from the undead land below, it'll be fine. If left unchecked, my demi-plane will eventually become no different from a lich's."
"Mika, can you still hold on?" Watching the former Blackstone Harbor now covered by seawater, with a whirlpool forming due to its sudden disappearance, Muria nodded in satisfaction and then looked at the burning angel girl with concern.
"Muria, let my sister rest for a while. Look at how exhausted she is." Ilvester, who had just helped Muria's lich subordinates suppress and cripple the Winter Ghost, interjected. Though Mikaela still looked radiant, the flames on her wings had dimmed significantly compared to the beginning.
"Rest? Time is tight; Barbossa will be back soon. I can still manage." Mikaela waved her battle sword. The experience of dividing demi-planes and exhausting her strength was novel for her.
"You should rest for a bit! I've learned the secret technique, so let's take turns." Seeing the slightly panting Mikaela, Ilvester couldn't bear it and stepped forward. He looked at Muria with some displeasure. If his sister hadn't agreed to help, he wouldn't be assisting Muria.
Next, with Ilvester and Mikaela taking turns, the remaining ports, along with the surrounding sea areas, were gradually cut off and moved into Muria's demi-plane.
These ports, along with the original Blackstone Harbor, were temporarily adhered together by Muria using secret techniques. Because of their similar attributes, there were no immediate issues. However, after returning, it would take a considerable amount of time to properly integrate them.
"What's left is Barbossa's lair and the shipyard. Where exactly are they?" Floating above the empty Sea of the Dead, Muria looked down with dissatisfaction.
At this time, the dark sea area was filled with ghost ships coming and going. Occasionally, a ghost ship would surface or dive. This was Muria's order after Barbossa left.
All ghost ships began searching the Sea of the Dead for Barbossa's lair. Muria didn't believe that with thousands of ghost ships diving into the water for a carpet search, they wouldn't find a shipyard that couldn't hide its traces.
"Master, we found it!" Suddenly, a lich broke through the waves, rushing up from the seabed. The soul fire in its skull flickered violently, shaken by what it had just seen.
"Where is it?" Hearing that a lich had found Barbossa's lair, Muria became excited. "Take me there immediately."
Soon, the lich led Muria and the two burning angels to the depths of the seabed, where they saw an endless array of steel ghost ships around a vast complex of majestic buildings.
At this time, all the steel ghost ships had activated and were fighting the ghost ships Muria had sent to search for them. Due to the significant technological gap, the pirate-driven ghost ships under Muria's command were being utterly dominated, barely holding their ground.
If not for Muria's lich subordinates helping to resist, those pirate-driven ships would have long fled without a trace. Even so, Muria's side was barely holding on. If Muria hadn't arrived, their annihilation was only a matter of time.
"Master, Barbossa's castle is still guarded by many undead, and their resistance is fierce." The lich leading Muria, Mikaela, and Ilvester casually blocked a death energy cannon shot from a steel ghost ship.
"Seven legendary undead, plus the ones guarding above, makes ten legends. Truly befitting a great lich; such foundations could even challenge an empire." Muria sensed the legendary auras emanating from the fortress ahead, a solemn look on his face.
"Mika, Ilvester, can you cut the space here?" Muria asked. Time was of the essence, and he didn't want to drag things out.
If possible, he wanted to directly cut off this underwater area and stuff it into his demi-plane. As for the legendary undead inside, once back in Synapse, he could use the power of the 132 cloud islands to deal with them properly. He had already done a similar operation; the Winter Ghost guarding Blackstone Harbor had been stuffed inside, now being surrounded by Synapse's legends.
"No, the space here has problems; it can't be cut." Mikaela frowned and swung her Radiant Flame Gold Sword. A black seam appeared where the blade cut, but it quickly healed. This was vastly different from the previous terrifying scene where a single slash created kilometer-long spatial rifts.
"The space here is much more solid than above. If I'm not mistaken, this should be Barbossa's original demi-plane, where his control is strongest." Ilvester also tried and shook his head, helpless.
"So there's no way to cut it and take it away." Muria was very unhappy. Having found Barbossa's lair only to be told he couldn't take it all was incredibly frustrating.
"Looks like I'll have to use that technique my mother taught me." Muria sighed. "I didn't want to use it, but you forced my hand."
Atreus' Grand Relocation Spell!
A surging wave of mana emanated from Muria. A bizarre yet domineering force spread from him, enveloping several square kilometers of the sea area ahead.
Rumble... The seabed began to quake violently, like a massive earthquake. Huge cracks appeared along the boundaries of Muria's mental power, and the area started to rise slowly, revealing the conical base beneath. Above the seabed were hundreds of steel ghost ships, tightly pressed by Muria's mental power, unable to escape.
Muria reached out and made a grasping motion, and the entire area began to shrink rapidly, flying towards him. By the time it reached his hand, the seabed had shrunk to the size of his palm.
Finally, Muria opened his demi-plane projection and tossed the area inside. Since he hadn't cut the space but crudely relocated the material, his demi-plane space did not continue to expand.
"What kind of legendary spell is this? Earthquake spell? Sealing spell? Levitation spell?" Ilvester was stunned by Muria's operation. He had never seen such a domineering and shameless spell, directly moving without a fight.
"Time is tight. I'll explain later. First, help me suppress those legendary undead. I have other tasks to attend to." Seeing the ghost ships turning their bows and preparing to fire at him, Muria flew towards them eagerly. Only a few minutes were left, and this disturbance would definitely have alerted the great lich.
"Why should I help you?" Ilvester, feeling like he was being ordered, snorted coldly in dissatisfaction. However, his stern expression didn't last a second before he saw his sister turn into a rainbow, shooting towards the fiercest part of the battlefield, where a giant rotting octopus was thrashing its tentacles, making the legendary liches unable to lift their heads.
"Be careful, Mika!" Seeing his sister in action, Ilvester had no choice but to follow.
"I'll move, I'll move," Muria relentlessly cast Atreus' Grand Relocation Spell, disregarding the consumption of his mana and mental power. However, due to the sheer number of ghost ships Barbossa had built, Muria managed to seal and store only less than a tenth in his demi-plane.
