Chapter 19: The Strain of Kindness and the Shadows of Sacrifice

"Ander, I want to advise you. Don't keep being the good guy. If you give them food, water, and shelter, they'll take it for granted. If you neglect them and don't provide enough food, they'll complain and even riot. You'll get a reputation as a good person, but do you know how much Marina and the others have suffered?"

Ander looked at Alexa, stunned.

"Don't look at Alexa. She's telling the truth," Anllela said.

"Ander, we like your kindness, but this time, I also want to say, stop raising so many people. It only burdens Marina and the others," Celine added.

"Marina, stop indulging Ander. This time, say it in front of everyone. How many women can you accept? If it's more than that, we won't allow him to cheat anymore," Anllela said.

Alexa didn't think so, because Ander's space was like a bottomless pit. She suspected the space expanded by enhancing Ander's sexual abilities, allowing more women to help the space absorb energy. In the past life, Ander reached level ten, the new women would climax within five seconds, and in just one hour, he satisfied 20 women. Alexa felt that even if 20 more women came, it wouldn't be enough for the space to absorb enough energy.

After the space absorbed energy, part of it was purified and returned to the superpowered individuals, while part was used to expand the space. If looked at from a bad perspective, the space used Ander and the women to enlarge itself, but the purpose was still unclear. On the good side, the space could store supplies, and Ander could use its energy to attack. Moreover, the energy returned can also quickly increase the total capacity stored in their bodies., which meant their superpower levels grew quickly. Whether this was good or bad, no one could be sure.

Marina sighed, "I wish it was just the eight of us, plus Priyanka, Aria, and Maja, but things aren't under my control. Initially, the six of us were just enough to handle Ander, but as he got stronger, and with Hara Saori leaving, we couldn't manage anymore. In the end, we had to make do with our breasts and mouths. If you hadn't joined us, I'm afraid our back door wouldn't be safe."

Marina sighed and continued, "Who knows how strong Ander will become in the future? As his women, how could we not satisfy him? If you want me to give a number, can I say it with certainty right now?"

Alexa finally understood why Marina had been so indulgent with Ander in their past life. However, this was indeed a big problem. They can't let Ander not cum all the time, right?

"Who is Hara Saori?" Anllela asked, not remembering anyone by that name in Ander's past life.

"She was Ander's high school girlfriend, and she's a mixed-race German-Japanese. After her parents divorced and remarried, she initially lived with her father, but when she couldn't adjust, she moved to live with her mother. However, her stepfather's family wasn't very kind to her, so eventually, she came to live with us."

Anllela finally remembered that because the pronunciation of Saori was very similar to Sorry, Saori asked everyone to call her Ya instead, so Anllela didn't remember who Hara Saori was for a moment.

"So how did she leave?"

"Her father got divorced again, so she moved back in with him. But her father lived far from our original apartment, so she could only visit occasionally," Marina explained.

It seemed that Alexa and the others were very interested in Saori, so they continued asking Marina more about her. As a result, Blaire revealed another secret.

"Ander's mistress is named Georgina Mazzeo. He met her three years ago. You won't believe this, but she was already married at the time, yet she was still a virgin when she slept with Ander three years ago."

"How is that possible?" Alexa and the others felt a surge of curiosity.

"It's simple—her husband is impotence."

"Then why did he marry Georgina?"

"For appearances' sake. He didn't want anyone to know he was impotent," Blaire continued. "Her husband is stationed in Canada and only comes back once a year. He didn't forbid Georgina from seeing other men, he just didn't want anyone to find out." Blaire then reminded them, "Don't let this secret leak."

Lily rolled her eyes and said, "So what if it leaks? He's stuck in Canada, unable to come back. Besides, would a million dollars even help Georgina now?"

"What ten million?"

"Since he's impotent, why doesn't Georgina divorce him?"

Celine and Alexa asked in unison.

"They signed an agreement to divorce in five years. When they divorce, Georgina will get a million dollars."

"Does Georgina work?"

"Yes, she's a librarian."

"Is Georgina pretty?"

"Georgina has black hair and black eyes, but she likes to wear colored contact lenses to look more attractive. She's very tall, with long legs. Her height is 6ft 1in, so even in high heels, she's taller than Ander." Blaire continued: "She used to have a square face, which made her look very serious, too old-fashioned, and not good-looking. Later she went to the gym to lose weight, and the flesh on her cheeks disappeared, and her chin became V-shaped, which made her very beautiful."

"She also likes to tie her hair into a big bun at the back of her head, and then her long, straight hair is scattered behind, with a few strands of hair left on each side of her cheeks. Her style is so beautiful! Mei said, the hairstyle is the one worn by young daughters of wealthy families in ancient China. It's really beautiful. Next time I see her, I'll let her do it for you." Blaire added:"Georgina has lost weight now and has a waistline on her abdomen, that waistcoat line is more obvious than Marina's."

"Has Georgina ever stayed the night at your place?"

"Yes, she doesn't come every day, but she comes more often than Saori."

Not long after, the car reached the main street. To clear the traffic, Ander started collecting abandoned cars into his space. However, he couldn't take cars with people or zombies inside.

Ander and the others could collect supplies as long as they saw them, but for space-type ability users like Alexa, they had to touch the object before they could store it in their own space.

So, Ander continued to walk and collect items as they went, and when they encountered large groups of zombies, they practiced their powers in the car. Ander used lightning, Marina aimed for headshots, Lily used ionization. To their surprise, Mei had already learned to merge with water vapor, and her ice spikes had considerable power. Only Hatala hadn't merged with wind yet, which made her a bit frustrated.

Hatala hadn't been able to sense the wind in nature, which was why she hadn't merged with it. But Ander didn't need to sense it. The ions, wind, and water vapor in nature had always been close to him. After he was electrocuted at five years old, the ions, wind, and water vapor had constantly surrounded him. At the time, he didn't know what they were, so he ignored them. It wasn't until later when Alexa mentioned sensing that he vaguely realized what was around him.

Later, Ander communicated with them, and he quickly merged with the ions, wind, and water vapor. He soon mastered lightning, ice spikes, and various wind-related abilities, such as wind blades, tornadoes, and flight.

Since the cars blocking the street were now gone and the zombies had been eliminated, the road had become unexpectedly clear.

The Crucible of Life and Death Under the Setting Sun

The sunlight filtered through the broken leaves, casting mottled shadows on the ground. The air was thick with a putrid stench, and the oppressive heat made it hard to breathe. It was a little past three in the afternoon; the clear skies above were a cruel contrast to the chaos unfolding below. Here, eight soldiers led by Sergeant Barton were facing an unprecedented life-and-death ordeal. They were locked in combat with a relentless tide of zombies.

"Bean, to the left! Watch out!" Barton shouted, his voice cutting through the cacophony of gunfire and roars. Bean swiftly sidestepped, but the merciless zombies had already pounced upon him, their sharp teeth revealing a grotesque grin. In an instant, he was engulfed by the horde.

"No! Bean!" Vance screamed, panic gripping him as he watched his comrade disappear. He felt a surge of helplessness, his heart racing. The world around him blurred as he turned to see Holmes struggling with a zombie, its decayed hands clawing at him. Holmes's weak voice faded into the chaos, the desperation in his voice echoing in Vance's mind.

"Run! I'll hold them off!" Holmes yelled, his face a mask of determination and despair. He knew his fate was sealed, yet he refused to give up. With all his might, he pushed the nearby zombies away, but more came crashing in, overwhelming him. The ground was stained red with blood, and Holmes's final cry was torn apart, morphing into a haunting lament that resonated in the air.
