The Domineering Female CEO

Chapter 44: chapter 44

Elvis walked back into the hotel room, a familiar smile on his face. "Hey, man, how's it going?" he asked, checking in on me.

We chatted for a while, catching up on each other's day. Then, Elvis dropped a bombshell. "Royalty is coming with Eliana and her younger brother next tomorrow," he said, his eyes locked on mine.

My heart skipped a beat at the mention of Eliana's name. I felt a mix of emotions: excitement, nervousness, and a hint of uncertainty.

"Do you think she'll show up?" I asked Elvis, seeking his opinion.

Elvis tapped my back reassuringly. "I think she'll come," he said, his voice filled with conviction.

With that, he gave me a nod and left the room, heading to his own quarters. I was left alone with my thoughts, wondering what the next tomorrow would bring. Would Eliana really show up, and if so, what would happen when we finally faced each other again?

As I sat in my hotel room, Sofia stood before me, her eyes locked on mine with a seductive gaze. She had delivered my room service, but instead of leaving, she lingered, her intentions clear.

"I know you're not in your happiest mood," she said, her voice husky and confident. "And I'd like to make you happy."

I felt a surge of guilt, knowing that I was still committed to Eliana, despite our current troubles. But the image of her holding hands with Alexander in the news kept replaying in my mind, fueling my anger and hurt.

Sofia's hands moved to my belt and zipper, and I felt a rush of adrenaline mixed with guilt. I wanted to stop her, to tell her that I wasn't interested, that I was still in love with Eliana. But the words got stuck in my throat, and I couldn't find the voice to speak.

As Sofia's hands continued to move, I felt myself getting pulled into the moment, my resolve weakening. I knew I was on the verge of making a mistake, one that could potentially destroy my relationship with Eliana forever. But in that moment, I couldn't seem to care.

Just as Sofia's hands were about to wander further, I heard Elvis's voice calling out from the hallway. "Hey, man! You decent?"

Sofia's eyes locked onto mine, and she seemed to be willing me to ignore Elvis's interruption. But I was grateful for the distraction. I quickly stood up, adjusting my clothes, and made my way to the door.

As I opened it, Elvis stood in the hallway, a look of concern etched on his face. His eyes scanned the room, and when they landed on Sofia, who was still standing there with a flirtatious smile, Elvis's expression turned into a disapproving frown.

Sofia, sensing the tension, quickly gathered her things and scurried away, avoiding eye contact with Elvis. As soon as she was gone, Elvis turned to me, a questioning look on his face.

"What's going on, man?" he asked, his voice low and serious. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," I replied, trying to sound casual despite the turmoil brewing inside me. Elvis's eyes narrowed slightly, as if he sensed there was more to the story,

Elvis's expression turned stern, his voice laced with disappointment. "Where you just about to cheat on Eliana after claiming you loved her? And with a room service attendant? Come on, man, I didn't expect this from you!"

I felt a surge of defensiveness, knowing I had come close to crossing a line. "I didn't cheat on her!" I protested.

Elvis raised an eyebrow. "Yes, you almost did.if I didn't interrupt you guys. If I hadn't shown up, you would have slept with that girl, wouldn't you?"

I hesitated, feeling a wave of guilt wash over me. "No...she was just going to...give me a blow job to ease my muscles," I admitted, the words tasting bitter in my mouth.

Elvis's expression turned incredulous. "It's still the same thing, Xavier. You were going to cheat on Eliana, something you wouldn't forgive Eliana for if she did it to you." His words cut deep, and I knew he was right. I had been on the verge of betraying Eliana's trust, and it was a hard pill to swallow.

Elvis's expression was stern as he turned to leave. "Remember, Eliana and Royalty will be staying in this hotel for some days before going to her house, and we might be going with them," he said, his voice firm.

I nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation at the thought of facing Eliana again.

Elvis's eyes narrowed. "And I don't want any drama from that hotel room attendant. Remind her of her place," he said, his tone authoritative.

I felt a pang of guilt at his words, knowing that I had been the one to encourage Sofia's advances. But I also knew that Elvis was right – I needed to keep my focus on Eliana and not let my emotions get the better of me.

With that, Elvis left my room, leaving me to my thoughts. I couldn't help but wonder what the next few days would bring, and whether I would be able to face Eliana and Royalty without any drama.

Eliana's POV

I sat in the car, staring out the window as the scenery passed by. It had been two days since I last spoke to Xavier, and I was still feeling a mix of emotions - anger, hurt, and a hint of longing.

But today was the day I would see him again. My younger brother and Royalty were traveling with me to Sky City, where we would be staying at the same hotel as Xavier and Elvis. The plan was for Xavier and Elvis to join us later and travel to my house with me.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I see Xavier again. Part of me was still angry with him, but another part of me needed to see him, to talk to him, to try and work through our issues.

As we stepped out of the car at the airport, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. The long drive had been tiring, but finally, we had arrived in Sky City.

A sleek black car was waiting for us, the driver standing by the door with a polite smile. "Welcome," he said, nodding at us. "I'll be taking you to your hotel."

Royalty smiled and slid into the car, followed by my younger brother, and me. As we settled in, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement mixed with nerves. We would be seeing Xavier and Elvis soon, and I had no idea what to expect.

The car glided smoothly through the streets of Sky City, the scenery passing by in a blur. Before long, we pulled up to the hotel, a grand structure that seemed to stretch up to the sky.

As we stepped out of the car, I felt a sense of trepidation. What would happen when I saw Xavier again? Would we be able to put our differences aside, or would things only get more complicated?

As we arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by Elvis, who was beaming with his signature charm. I was a bit disappointed that Xavier wasn't with him, but I pushed the feeling aside and focused on getting settled.

Elvis helped us with our luggage, and I paid for an additional room for my younger brother, Jason, and me. Royalty, on the other hand, would be staying with Elvis.

After we got settled, I ordered some food for Jason, who was delighted to have his favorite meal. He ate while watching cartoons, and soon after, he drifted off to sleep. I smiled, feeling grateful for the chance to spend quality time with my little brother.

As the evening drew to a close, I decided to take a shower. The warm water was soothing, and I felt my muscles relax. As I was getting ready for bed, I heard a soft knock on the door. I wrapped myself in a towel and made my way to the door, opening it to find Xavier standing in the hallway.

"Hey," he said, his eyes locking onto mine.

I pretended to be angry, trying to maintain a stern expression. "What do you want?" I replied, attempting to sound firm.

Xavier took a step forward, his eyes filled with remorse. "Can I come in?" he asked, his voice soft and gentle.

I hesitated for a moment before stepping aside, allowing him to enter. As he closed the door behind him, he turned to me, his eyes filled with emotion.

"Babe, I'm so sorry," he said, his voice cracking with sincerity. "I know my anger wasn't really necessary. I should have just trusted you. I'm sorry."

I stood tall, my voice low but firm, as I confronted Xavier. "What do you take me for, Xavier?" I interrupted, my words dripping with emotion. "I explained everything to you, but you don't seem to trust me. How would this work if you don't trust me?"

I emphasized each word, my tone stern but controlled, careful not to wake Jason, who was sleeping peacefully in the next room. Xavier's eyes locked onto mine, and for a moment, we just stared at each other, the tension between us palpable.

Xavier took a deep breath, his shoulders sagging slightly as he seemed to deflate. "Eliana, I..." he began, his voice trailing off as he searched for the right words.

Xavier's eyes dropped, and he took a deep breath before responding. "I do trust you, Eliana," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "It's just...I don't know, I've been feeling really insecure lately, and I let my doubts get the better of me."

He took a step closer to me, his eyes pleading for understanding. "I know I shouldn't have doubted you, and for that, I'm truly sorry. You're right, if I don't trust you, then how can we make this work?"

Xavier's voice was filled with emotion, and I could see the sincerity in his eyes. I felt my anger begin to dissipate, replaced by a sense of sadness and concern. What was going on with Xavier that was making him feel so insecure?

I gazed into Xavier's eyes, searching for the root of his insecurities. "What's making you feel insecure, Xavier?" I asked, my voice soft and gentle.

Xavier's eyes dropped, and he looked down, his shoulders sagging slightly. But I wouldn't let him retreat. I reached out and gently cupped his face with my hand, my fingers tracing the contours of his jawline.

As I held his face, I leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to his forehead. The gentle touch seemed to calm him, and he slowly lifted his eyes to meet mine.

"Talk to me, Xavier," I whispered, my lips still close to his forehead. "What's going on? What's making you feel this way?"

Xavier's voice was laced with vulnerability as he revealed his deepest fear. "Alexander is a billionaire, he has the looks, and he's powerful. He's every girl's dream," Xavier said, his eyes filled with a mix of sadness and insecurity. "So, I felt like he would take you away from me."

My heart ached as I heard the uncertainty in Xavier's voice. I realized that his fears were rooted in his own doubts and insecurities, rather than any actual threat from Alexander.

I pulled Xavier closer, my arms wrapping around him in a gentle hug. "Xavier, you're the one I want," I whispered, my voice filled with conviction. "No one, not even Alexander, can take me away from you. You're the one who holds my heart."

I smiled softly as I gazed into Xavier's eyes. "Yes, Alexander may be every girl's dream," I said, "but not every girl has the same dream. What about your female fans, Xavier? Don't you think you're the dream guy for many of them?"

Xavier's eyes sparkled with amusement, but I could see a hint of vulnerability beneath the surface. I took a step closer to him, my voice filled with sincerity.

"You may not be a billionaire, Xavier, but you have something that many people can only dream of – talent, charisma, and a heart of gold. You're famous for your incredible acting skills and your stunning good looks," I said, my eyes locked on his. "But to me, you're so much more than that. You're my dream man, Xavier."

I smiled confidently as I gazed into Xavier's eyes. "You may not be rich in billions, Xavier," I said, "but your talent and dedication will undoubtedly take you to the top. You'll be mentioned among the top 5 richest actors in both Bot Jai City and Sky City. You're already a millionaire, and it's only a matter of time before you become a billionaire."

Xavier's eyes sparkled with pride and gratitude as he listened to my words. I took a step closer to him, my voice filled with conviction.

"And as for Alexander," I continued, "his wealth may be impressive, but it's not something that can buy my affection. I'm a billionaire in my own right, Xavier. I don't need Alexander's money, and I certainly don't need his validation. What I need is someone who loves and accepts me for who I am, and that someone is you, Xavier."
