The Field

Koji- This guy isn't Number 2 for nothing. He's certainly going to be skilled.

Koji's Team is Red. Rin's Team is White. Red Team starts with the ball as Koji has it. The whistle blows as Koji rushes off. Aryu tries to stop him but he uses his core strength to get through him without any issue.

Koji- I want to experience that exhilaration I saw in our last match. Nagi Seishiro's exhilaration. He gave it his all so I have to as well.

Koji was then blocked by Tokimitsu.

Tokimitsu: I can't let you pass.

Koji- He's taller than me and wider. I could topple him but that would be a foul.

Koji passes the ball upfield where Nagi traps the ball.

Nagi: Itadakimasu.

Nagi then shoots the ball only for Rin to block it just barely.

Rin- This bastard is good. If not for Tokimitsu pressuring him he'd have already scored.

Suddenly the ball falls to Bachira who races forward with it. Koji then slips past Tokimitsu.

Rin- Damn it. It's two on one. I have to stay put and respond at the last second.

Bachira shoots the ball as Rin blocks it again but just as he is preparing for the next shot it is too late. Koji was already in the spot the ball would be as he shot it into the goal Rin's own body obstructing the Goalkeeper's view.

Announcer: Goal By Ayanokoji Kiyotaka. Team Red (1) : Team White (0)

Rin- How the hell did he see that!? How did he know exactly where the ball would land!? Is he really better than me? No, he's not! He was just lucky. I'm the best in this place. I'll destroy him completely now!

Bachira and Nagi high-fived celebrating.

Rin: You two think this is some kind of game? This is a battlefield and you just turned your back to an enemy with a gun.

Rin places down the ball, kicks it and scores.

Announcer: Goal By Itoshi Rin. Team Red (1) : Team White (1)

Koji- That was unexpected. Hmm. So you can do it like that as well huh? How interesting.

Koji took the ball and did the same scoring.

Rin- You can't be serious. He perfectly replicated my technique?

Announcer: Goal By Ayanokoji Kiyotaka. Team Red (2) : Team White (1)

Koji: Just three more. Don't try that again.

Rin: Damn it.

Rin's team started with the ball as he raced forward with it.

Rin- I won't lose to him.

Koji intercepted him.

Koji: Why are you playing in this facility?

Rin: Why are you asking me that?

Koji: You seem so desperate for something. I want to know what it is?

Rin: Why?

Koji: I'm desperate for something as well. I want to feel excited.

Rin shivered at this but at the same time it excited him to think he was facing off against someone so strong.

Rin: I'm here to surpass my older brother Itoshi Sae.

Koji stole the ball.

Koji: A Brother Complex huh? You've focused so much on defeating your brother that you've failed to consider a future where you'll face people stronger than him. How long do you intend to live in his shadow? You're like a frog in a well that doesn't know the depth of the sea. How pathetic.

Rin was stunned and infuriated by this notion.

Koji- To trigger his evolution into someone who can challenge me I must break his ego so he is forced to rebuild it better than before. Then perhaps I can feel the same exhilaration as Nagi Seishiro.

Koji rushed forward with the ball as Tokimitsu and Aryu both desperately tried to block him. He passed to Nagi who trapped it.

Nagi: And that Goal number three.

Nagi shot the ball in scoring.

Announcer: Goal By Nagi Seishiro. Team Red (3) : Team White (1)

Rin- This can't be happening. 2 goals down?

Rin grits his teeth in frustration as the ball resets.

Rin races forward passing to Aryu who receives the ball. Naturally, Koji, Bachira and Nagi gravitated to the ball. Rin gave Tokimitsu a look as he rushed over blocking off both Nagi and Bachira. Aryu passed to Rin.

Rin: It's my goal!

Koji appeared in front of him.

Rin: How is he so fast!? That's not humanly possible!

Koji blocked the shot passing it to Bachira who had already seen the commotion and broken off from Aryu. He raced upfield.

Tokimitsu- If I chase after him he could pass to this scary man. What do I do?

Bachira went forward and easily scored.

Announcer: Goal By Bachira Meguru. Team Red (4) : Team White (1)

Rin: Not again!

Tokimitsu: There's so strong. One more and we're done. I'm scared.

Koji: Almost finished. Let's wrap this up, guys.

Rin: Don't get so cocky! It's not over yet!

Rin sets down the ball as he and his team all rush out into the offence. Rin capitalizes on their offensive strength by using Tokimitsu and Aryu in a triangle formation as they rush upfield. Bachira and Nagi do their best but are unable to help stop them. Koji however stays back near the goal.

Rin lines up for a shot but hesitates.

Rin- I can score but if he blocks it. How would brother do it?

Koji suddenly closes the distance.

Rin- So fast!

Before Rin can do anything Koji has stolen the ball and he races upfield with it and shoots it in.

Announcer: Goal By Ayanokoji Kiyotaka. Team Red (5) : Team White (1) The Match Has Now Concluded. Team Red. Please select a member of Team White to go with you.

Rin: Damn it!!!! I hesitated!

Koji walks up to them.

Koji: The reason you lost is because you cling to the shadow of your brother. Your movements are unnatural. Each step you take you adjust it minorly to fit a slightly different style.

Rin- I'm imitating my brother because I want to best him and he figured me out.

Koji: If you continue like that you'll never become the best.

Rin- This bastard is right. I must be more. 

Rin: From now on my goal is to become the best and to defeat you.

Koji: I'm picking Tokimitsu.

Rin: Huh? But I'm clearly the better player!

Koji: Sure but there's nothing you can do that I can't and on top of that in your state, I don't want you. Even if Tokimitsu is a worse choice than you I don't want you. Right now you're useless to me.

Rin was in a huge fury.

Koji: If you want to beat me I'll be waiting in the fourth stage. If you keep me waiting too long I'll leave.

Koji takes his four-man squad and leaves Rin there who is gritting his teeth in absolute anger.
