The food melted in her mouth, "Did you make this?"

"Who else would?"

"It's amazing, did not know that you could cook."

"There is a lot you don't know about me."

"Obviously, we only dated for a month."

Storm became annoyed by his response as he was talking nonsense and taunting her.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" He tilted his head in amusement.

"Why do you think?"

She carried on eating, then she did the dishes as he had cooked dinner, and when done, returned to her room.

Storm closed the door slightly so that Chase would not bother her about closing it. After changing into her pajamas, she sat on her bed and watched a series that she had wanted to watch.

She clicked on the watcher, her heart was beating fast, and she was over in her head as it felt as if this was her case.

What if she was also being watched like this? She gulped at the response and carried on watching.

"Storm."

She jumped, how had she not heard him?

"Yes."

"Why do you look rattled?"

"Just a series that I'm watching."

"Okay, if you need dessert, there is some in the cupboard and freezer." "Thanks, Chase."

"If you need me, you know where I am."

"Okay."

When he left, she carried on with the series and the following afternoon, as she was heading out, Chase was following her.

"I'm going to my friends."

"I know, me too."

They arrived together and the two of them went their separate ways, and she was glad to see her friends.

She told them what had happened, and they hung out for the rest of the day, until Chase had called her, telling her that they needed to leave.

Storm had eaten dinner with her friends and when the weekend came, she heard voices when she was in her room.

She went out to get some water and found Chase making out with a girl in the living room, which startled her.

Storm went back to her room and she was hurt, there was no denying that, this was what she had to get used to now that she was living with him.

He was the one who was upset about her and the guy, but the minute they broke up, he was entertaining other girls.

He did not care that she was here, and how she felt. Storm could hear them going into his room as the girl was laughing really loud.

The weekend came by and finally; she agreed to meet up with Jeremy, she had to move on from Chase, so they headed out and she went to Jeremy.

Storm had managed to convince Chase that she would head back on her own but he had said he would fetch her if she did not show up.

"I never thought you would accept to see me." Said Jeremy who seemed to be happy to see her.

"Sorry, I was going through a tough breakup."

"I know, I hope you're fine now."

"I am, I needed time to heal."

They had a nice evening chatting and Jeremy had made her laugh, this is what she needed and it was time to move on.

It was late and Jeremy walked her back to Chase's, when they arrived he hugged her, "I will see you, and call me if you need anything."

"Jeremy..."

He looked at her and leaned in, she placed a kiss on his lips, Jeremy pulled her in hesitantly and the kiss deepened.

They pulled apart when they heard footsteps and it was Chase, he did not say a thing and passed them without looking at them.

'"I guess I have to take my leave."

"I will text you, and thank you for tonight, Jeremy, I needed this."

"It's my pleasure." He grinned at her.

She walked into the house and Chase grabbed her wrist, she was on the couch and he was on top of her.

"What are you doing Chase?" He leaned in..............
