Chapter 243: Assumptions about Izzy
"Has it really been so long outside of Limbo that you've managed to create families and have children?" Sierra asked the three after a short pause.
"Of course not, Sister," Arabel replied, laughing. "It's only been about ten days."
Baby Rizzy, who appeared, still felt pain, and her eyes filled with tears. She looked like she was about to cry.
Idan hurried to calm her down and even extended his finger. Rizzy immediately grabbed him and, biting him, began to suck blood.
"A vampire?" Rizzу's act did not go unnoticed by those present.
"Yes, the baby's name is Rizzy," Arabel replied to Milica's question.
Nemo stepped forward to introduce the next guest, Izzy.
"And this is Izzy," Arabel said, pointing to the baby in Nemo's arms.
Sierra was not yet aware of Izzy's existence, but Milica and Eulalia, hearing the familiar name of the Spirit, experienced a real shock.
"Izzy?" said Milica, not believing her long ears. "She's… Has she already passed her stage of growth?"
As an elf from the higher realm, Milica knew perfectly well how the growth of the spirit proceeded. To some extent, she was looking forward to seeing what Izzy would turn into when she got past the fetal stage, and who she would look like.
However, according to her calculations, Izzy needed a few more years to reach her current level. Even considering the benefits she got from Idan and Arabel's transformation when Izzy absorbed the bloodline energy.
"Yes, she did," Nemo replied, using a mental link.
"Sister, Izzy was a spirit who made a contract with Nemo and was with him all the time. I'm sorry I hid it from you," Arabel explained to Sierra, seeing her confusion. Sierra was the only one present who didn't know about Izzy's existence.
Sierra was completely amazed when she found out who Izzy was. As a Valkyrie of Legendary rank, she, like Milica, had heard a lot about spirits and their growth. What she saw in front of her seemed like a miracle. After all, there was no reliable information about spirits choosing intelligent beings as their "parents."
From what Sierra knew, spirits naturally chose only innocent and harmless creatures. Only in legends and rumors could one find something similar to what she had just witnessed.
"Wait a minute!" exclaimed Sierra, drawing everyone's attention to herself. She looked at Izzy intently and asked: "Why do I sense a weak Valkyrie bloodline from this little girl?"
"Heh, did you notice?" giggled Arabel. "Because Izzy has become a Lightning Valkyrie."
These words struck Sierra deeply. She just found out that Izzy is a spirit who has overcome the fetal stage and has chosen Nemo as her "parent". And now she finds out that the same spirit has turned into a Valkyrie.
"How?" Sierra asked in disbelief. The other two, Milica and Eulalia— listened attentively, and their faces, like Sierra's, showed shock and a desire to learn more about baby Izzy.
Nemo glanced at Idan and Arabel before answering. Idan and Arabel caught Nemo's eye and realized that he was asking them if they should tell the others about System.
"Master, Sister, Senior Eulalia, we can't be one hundred percent sure, but we have an ability that allows us to see some information about items. From this ability, we learned that Izzy's soul was formed by the fusion of two souls. We assume that one of these souls was most likely a Valkyrie," Arabel said instead of Nemo.
Arabel's words caused even more surprise. All three of them were aware that this couple had their own secrets and amazing abilities, including the ability to possess multiple bloodlines. And having an ability that shows information wasn't too surprising.
They were surprised by the information about Izzy's soul. As representatives of the higher sphere, Sierra and Milica had more experience and knowledge.
"Does this mean that Izzy wasn't originally born a spirit?" Milica asked Sierra.
"If the information Arabel received with her ability is reliable, then Izzy is not a natural spirit, but was created by someone else," Sierra, like Milica, immediately realized that Izzy was not an ordinary Spirit.
"In that case, the second soul was probably a Spirit," Milica suggested, and Sierra agreed with her, looking at Izzy.
"A soul born from the fusion of the souls of a Spirit and a Valkyrie", — She thought.
"Besides, this is not the soul of a simple Spirit, but of a Fallen One," Sierra added with a gloomy expression on her face.
"Fallen?" Arabel asked, and Idan and Nemo, who had never heard of such creatures before, pricked up their ears.
"Spirits are pure and innocent creatures born of the world itself. Many people revere and admire them, but there are also those who see in them only a source of strength and power," Milica began her story. "Many people hunt Spirits, and Spirits that have been captured and enslaved become fallen spirits. Spirits are free creatures, and capturing and interfering with their natural development changes them, making it impossible for them to grow further. Such Spirits remain forever in the form of a Spirit, having lost all connections with the outside world."
"Undoubtedly, there was a third force involved in the fusion of the two souls. Spirits by their very nature would never make the decision to unite with someone else's soul. And the intervention of a third party would definitely turn the Spirit into a Fallen One, disrupting the natural process of its development," Sierra added.
"It follows from this that the second soul..." Milica started, but before she finished, her face darkened, just like Sierra's.
Seeing the expressions on Sierra and Milica's faces, Nemo, who was listening intently while holding Izzy in his arms, instinctively checked if the pendant was still hanging around his neck.
Milica, noticing Nemo's gesture, and knowing his connections with Valkyrie, his past, and his relationship with Izzy, she guessed exactly what might have happened.
Even Sierra, who was not aware of Nemo and Izzy's past, having only a small part of the information and her life experience, came to the same conclusion as Milica.
"Nemo, I'm not sure, but I have a hunch that Izzy's second soul is the soul of your newborn or unborn daughter from Valkyrie," Milica said with a heavy heart.
