Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Leveled Up

Supreme Gacha System

Chapter 6; Leveled Up

Leon and his group finally reached the third floor of the dungeon. Each level expanded, scattering the goblins and making Leon easier to fight without being overwhelmed. On the third floor, Leon swiftly dispatched over 50 level 3 goblins, leveling up after defeating the 40th goblins.

The fourth floor was similar, more than 50 goblins were scattered throughout the area. Leon leveled up again, reaching level 5, and allocated his two remaining stat points to Agility. His movements became noticeably lighter and faster. However, his kitchen knives were now dull and unusable. He decided to use the system's equipment draw. The common grade draw required 100 low-grade magic crystals, and he currently possessed 110.

"Sigh," Leon murmured to himself. "Only one draw." He selected the weapon option at the equipment option and pressed draw. A shower of green light, like falling stars, illuminated the system interface, and an exquisite silver sword materialized in his inventory.

Leon withdrew the sword. A common, low-grade magic double-bladed sword, it measured approximately one meter in length and weighed about 100 kilograms. It's manageable with his current strength of 7, allowing him to lift around 350 kilograms. He swung the sword experimentally, a silver arc flashing in the dungeon's dim light.

Leon equipped the sword, a warmth that instantly bloomed within him. Stronger, he thought, a grin spreading across his face. It wasn't just a feeling; it was a certainty that vibrated in his bones. He could feel the difference, a surge of power that made him want to test its limits. But first, he accessed his status screen, eager to see the tangible proof of his enhancement.

Leon grinned, his strength having dramatically increased after equipping the common low-grade magic weapon. "Three accessory slots and four equipment slots still open," he mused. "I wonder if this is a world's rule, on where you can use any weapon, but only equip those suitable for your class."

He understood the system's logic: shields and weapons both fall under the accessory category. A warrior could equip a shield or another blade. However, things changed significantly at Tier 1.

Reaching Tier 1 as a warrior opened up several specialized paths: Knight, Guardian, Swordsman, Dual Blade Master, and Spear Master. Crucially, choosing one of these advanced professions was mandatory for further progression. Without selecting a Tier 1 specialization, leveling up became impossible, regardless of how many monsters or magical beasts were slain or how many magic crystals you absorb, you cannot level up without choosing a profession. This specialization was exclusive to Common Class Warriors; Rare, Hidden, Hero, and higher classes offered more powerful, advanced professions.

Changing professions was possible, but it came with a significant penalty. For example, a Tier 1 level 3 warrior switching professions would reset to Tier 1 level 0. This reset applied to all tiers above Tier 1 as well; profession changes were only possible immediately after advancement. Otherwise, all previous leveling progress would be lost.

Leon and his group descended to the fifth floor, their senses alert as they scanned their surroundings. A sudden whoosh sliced through the air.

"Arrows!" Stella, Fei, and Luna, possessing the keenest senses, identified the threat instantly. A dozen of them, whistling through the air.

"Master, be careful!" Stella and Fei shouted, their voices sharp with concern.

Leon nodded, a warmth spreading through his chest at their unwavering devotion. He met their gaze, offering a silent nod of gratitude and affection.

With ease, Leon, the three girls, and the ten Silver Moon Wolves effortlessly dodged the volley. Their superior agility allowed them to evade the incoming arrows.

Before they could catch their breath, another barrage of arrows rained down. This time, they spotted the source: a group of over twenty goblins, unlike any they'd encountered before. These goblins moved with chilling precision, a coordinated unit rather than a disorganized mob.

A line of level 5 shield goblins, armed with wooden shields and maces, formed the vanguard. Behind them, a dozen level 5 goblin archers that shoots another steady stream of arrows. And at the very rear, a distinct figure stood out, a goblin wielding a red wooden staff, muttering incantations. A head-sized fireball materialized in the void In Front of him, then hurtled towards them.

Leon's group scrambled away from the fireball's trajectory. A deafening boom followed by a shower of soil and rocks, scattered everywhere. When the dust cleared, a crater tens of meters wide and a meters deep marred the floor.

Goblin mage? Leon thought, his eyes narrowed. These weren't the pathetic goblins they'd encountered before. The shield goblins were significantly taller and more robust, their physiques far exceeding those of their smaller counterparts. The archers, too, were taller and more agile, their aims were noticeably more accurate.

"Who said that goblins are stupid and weak," he muttered. These were elite soldiers, not mindless brutes. The shield goblins, six feet tall and powerfully built, formed an unbreakable wall. The archers, he realized with a chill, weren't just carrying quivers; they were carrying buckets."A bucket, overflowing with hundreds of arrows. This was a well-organized and well equipped army, not like the stupid goblins we encountered before.

The girls tensed up, ready to retaliate, but Leon held up a hand, and stopped them. His eyes fixed on the leveling opportunity. Dodging arrows and fireballs with great speed, he closed the distance in seconds. His enhanced strength and the sharp magic sword made short work of the shield goblins, a single swing cleaved through shields and bodies with the ease of cutting tofu.

The goblin mage, witnessing the carnage, reacted swiftly. Disregarding his own troops, he ordered the archers to retreat while continuing their barrage. The mage himself began a hasty retreat alongside his archers.

A gruesome ballet of steel and blood ensued. With each swing of Leon's sword, green blood sprayed, heads flew, limbs were severed, and bodies were cleaved in two. The air filled with the sickening sounds of battle and the smell of blood.

Despite the constant hail of arrows, Leon systematically eliminated the shield goblins.

His pursuit of the fleeing goblins was relentless.

Just as he was about to catch them, the commotion attracted three more groups of goblins, each led by a goblin mage and numbering over twenty.

Soon, the goblins attack together, faced with a deadly barrage of fireballs and arrows, Leon strategically activates Moonlight Aura. The A-Rank skill's fivefold agility boost wasn't just about speed, it sharpened his senses, slowing down the world around him. He used this advantage to pinpoint his target, the fleeing goblin mage.

The mage's archers formed a desperate defense, but Leon was like a phantom, his movements too fast to track. He weaved through their attacks with effortless grace, his silver sword a blur of deadly precision. The result was a swift, brutal massacre, the archers fell before him in a storm of blood and severed limbs.

Leon cut down dozens of goblin archers, a relentless tide of steel and blood. The goblin mage, desperately fleeing, sought refuge in the approaching ranks of his allies. Arrows rained down, a constant threat, but Leon, with a blur of motion, pressed his attack. The mage, his fireball spell still cooling down, could only growl orders, his face contorted with fear.

Leon closed the distance, intercepting the mage before he could reach safety. A single, swift swing sent the mage's head arcing through the air. Without pausing, Leon turned his attention to the goblin group on his right, leaving the two remaining groups on his left for later.

The pattern repeated, the mage's retreat, the archers' scattering volley, Leon's unstoppable advance. He cleaved through their ranks, his magic sword a silver scythe reaping a harvest of goblin lives. Each swing was a death sentence, limbs and heads flew, bodies were bisected.

The scattered archers fell before his relentless assault, their arrows falling harmlessly short. Leon moved like a phantom, his speed a terrifying display of power.

Only two groups of goblins remained, approximately fifty goblins,a final obstacle standing before Leon's victory.

Exhaustion tugged at Leon, his muscles screaming in protest. He caught Stella's eye, a silent plea for aid. She responded instantly, her voice barely a whisper as she cast Moonlight Healing. A wave of silver light washed over him, a soothing warmth that seeped into his very bones, mending the wounds and chasing away the fatigue.

Renewed strength surged through him. With three minutes of his agility buff remaining, he launched himself at the remaining goblins. The battle was fierce, brutal, but short. Within two and a half minutes, the last goblin fell.

Leon collapsed, his shoulder bleeding, an arrow protruding from the wound. He lay panting, like a tired dog, until he realized he'd reached level 6. The girls rushed to his side, their concern etched on their faces. His vision blurred ,darkness claimed him and fell asleep.

When he woke up Stella's worried gaze could be seen. But now his injuries are gone, healed completely.

"Are you alright, Master?" Stella asked, her worry evident in her voice and eyes.

"I'm fine," Leon replied, forcing a reassuring smile.

Fei let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. "Good. It's good you're alright, Master."

Luna's pitiful gaze and a rumbling stomach spoke volumes. Leon understood, she was hungry. He just shook his head, a wry smile playing on his lips.

He'd splurged on a pocket watch to track the time, cursing inwardly, it costs thirty low-grade magic crystals. The system's message, a condescending reminder that it was a unique, 50% discounted item, almost made him spurred blood. He sighed, accepting the expense.

A glance at the watch confirmed his suspicion: it was evening. No wonder Luna was famished. They hadn't eaten since morning.

After a shared meal, Leon treated himself to a portable restroom and bathroom. A hot bath followed, and finally, a well-deserved sleep.
