Chapter 267: Beerus
"Wait, Lord Beerus—!" the Supreme Kai started to protest, but Whis gently raised a hand to silence him, still smiling.
"Let him," Whis said. "It's rare he finds someone interesting enough to fight. Besides, I'm curious myself."
Dave didn't flinch. He rolled his neck slowly, cracking it again. "You want to fight me? Alright. But don't hold back just because I look good doing it."
Vegeta and Goku both took a step back.
"He's insane," Vegeta muttered.
"He might actually survive this," Goku replied, eyes gleaming with excitement.
Beerus raised a single hand, and the sky above seemed to dim. A ripple of divine energy surged through the air as he floated forward, his aura now fully visible—a deep violet haze that radiated raw destruction.
"Show me what makes you so special, Saiyan," Beerus said, his tone calm… but deadly serious.
Dave smirked and instantly surged into his Legendary Super Saiyan form. The ground beneath him cracked and exploded outward as green lightning flashed around his towering aura.
"Gladly."
And with that, they both launched forward—divine and legendary power colliding in a deafening shockwave that split the clouds above.
The battlefield had turned into a warzone of raw energy. Craters dotted the landscape, mountains were reduced to rubble, and the skies above swirled with unnatural storms from their sheer power.
The landscape was unrecognizable. Vast craters, torn earth, shattered mountain peaks, and glowing molten trenches stretched for miles in every direction. The air was thick with energy so volatile it hummed like a living thing, warping light itself. Every gust of wind carried sparks of lightning, each one born from the overwhelming clash of power between two titanic forces.
Dave, his body pulsing with the seething green aura of the Legendary Super Saiyan, let out a primal roar as he lunged at Beerus, fist cocked back and glowing with raw ki.
"RAAAAAAH!"
Beerus, unimpressed, raised a single finger—and with effortless precision, deflected the blow. The sheer force of the impact sent out a spherical shockwave, flattening everything within a five-mile radius and launching debris skyward like meteors.
Before Dave could recover, Beerus teleported behind him, delivering a devastating axe kick that cratered Dave into the ground, splitting a nearby ridge in half. The God of Destruction followed up, appearing directly above and raining down a flurry of rapid-fire strikes, each one glowing with Hakai-infused energy.
Boom! Boom! BOOM!
The ground beneath Dave shattered again and again with every hit, creating layered shockwaves that shot across the horizon like ripples through reality.
Suddenly—a flash of green light!
Dave surged back up with a roar, his muscles bulging with barely-contained fury. He slammed both fists together, unleashing a massive emerald shockwave, forcing Beerus to retreat into the air. With his teeth clenched and rage overflowing, Dave rocketed forward, grabbing Beerus by the throat and hurling him across the sky.
Beerus twisted in midair and stopped himself just short of slamming into a floating mesa. He chuckled darkly. "You're better than I thought, Saiyan… but you're still not refined."
Dave didn't wait. He charged again, this time channeling his ki into a massive energy sphere that grew to the size of a mountain. With a growl, he hurled it toward the God of Destruction.
Beerus narrowed his eyes. "Tch."
With a flick of his wrist, he raised a hand and condensed his own energy into a tiny orb no larger than a marble. As Dave's attack approached, Beerus casually lobbed the orb at it.
The collision was nuclear.
The sky turned white for a moment as both energies met—and then the explosion. The air was sucked into a vacuum before violently exploding outward in a dome of energy so wide it flattened every peak, vaporized nearby forests, and turned the sky blood red for an instant.
When the light faded, Dave was still standing—but now panting, bruised, and blood running from his lip. He wiped it away and grinned, his aura still crackling wildly.
Beerus floated above him, barely scratched, his golden eyes locked onto Dave. "Is that all you've got?" he asked, voice calm, almost bored.
Dave's grin vanished. His eyes narrowed, and his body began to tremble—not from fear, but from restrained power. The green energy around him suddenly began to darken, morphing and twisting into a deeper violet shade as the very air pressure dropped.
The ground beneath Dave cracked like glass. His breathing slowed.
"No," he said quietly. "That wasn't everything."
Then—everything changed.
BOOM!
A strike from Beerus landed cleanly in Dave's gut, sending him flying across the scorched ground and slamming into a rocky cliffside. Dust and debris rose like a curtain.
Beerus floated in the air, arms crossed, his expression sharp but unimpressed. "Is that it?" he said coldly. "You've got power, but no discipline. You're just brute force. Is that really all you can do?"
The words echoed through the canyon.
For a moment, there was only silence. Then, from within the rubble, came a low growl… and a shift in the air. The very atmosphere began to tremble.
Goku's eyes widened. "Wait… that energy… it's changing."
The green aura that once surrounded Dave flickered—then vanished completely.
In its place, a dark violet storm of energy surged outward in every direction, violent and primal, yet eerily controlled. Dave slowly rose from the crater, his eyes glowing crimson-purple, and his hair shifting to a shadowed black streaked with violet tips, flowing upward with godlike intensity.
His body was slightly more lean but emanated crushing pressure—he had transcended.

Whis raised an eyebrow. "Now this… this is interesting."
Dave looked up, his voice deeper, steadier. "You asked if that was all I could do..."
He raised a single finger, and the energy around him exploded, sending a massive shockwave that pushed even Beerus back a step. The God of Destruction narrowed his eyes.
"So, you were hiding this."
"No," Dave replied. "I was trying to avoid using it… but you insisted."
In a blur, he was gone—then right in front of Beerus, his fist slamming into the deity's arm with force that rattled the heavens. Beerus blocked, but his feet scraped back across the air as if sliding on glass.
The battle resumed—but now it was different. Every clash between them bent the sky. Their movements tore through space like a knife through paper.
From below, Goku shielded his eyes. "This energy… it's beyond anything I've seen. Even Whis didn't feel this heavy…"
Vegeta stared silently, sweat rolling down his face. "What the hell is this form…?"
Whis smiled faintly. "A fusion of destructive instinct and Saiyan rage… not quite a God of Destruction, but not a mortal either. A Destroyer. A rider of ruin."
And above them all, the storm raged on as Dave and Beerus exchanged god-shaking blows, their power shaking the Earth itself.
