Finn glanced at the two officers standing behind Jack Lewis. His mental strength was now extraordinary. He could sense that despite these two officers being a Colonel and a Lieutenant Colonel, they weren’t ordinary in the traditional sense. Both officers emanated a strong, menacing aura.

Clearly, they were veterans of countless special operations, bona fide military officers bred through real battles. “Yes, Sir,” the two soldiers saluted and responded loudly.

Finn chuckled. Perhaps in terms of mere competition in certain aspects such as hand-to-hand combat and obstacle training, they could perhaps match up to his recruits. But if it were a complete battlefield simulation, Finn believed that they definitely wouldn’t stand a chance against his rookies.

“We’ll know once we take it out on the field and give it a shot,” Finn said laughingly.

“Ha-ha, I’ve been waiting for you. Anyway, your firm’s new cell phone is about to go into production. You don’t need to get involved.” Jack Lewis inquired.

“I don’t need to intervene in these matters. Let the commotion in North Federation and the Alliance Countries die down. Once our new mobile comes out, they will realize that all the fuss they’re making is in vain,” Finn nonchalantly shook his head and replied.

Unlike other firms that apply for patents as soon as the product is manufactured, Finn’s mobile hadn’t been subjected to any patent applications. Applying for a patent means shedding light on the technology used, which then exposes one’s technology.

That’s one area of concern. Another reason why Finn doesn’t apply for patents lies with the simple fact that the technology used in Finn’s mobiles is quite obsolete. Hence Finn doesn’t stress over this. Not applying for the patent meant others were free to imitate the technology. Successful imitations indicated technological advancement.

Finn was essentially offering them a pathway to progress. The distribution channels for Virtual World Corporation products worldwide are unworrying. Given the previous constructions, these channels are now wholly established. As Finn mentioned earlier, as long as the Eve Morrison system doesn’t impact their profits, neither the hardware manufacturers nor software developers, wouldn’t risk hanging themselves on the same tree.

There are no absolute allies in this world; not to mention these companies can’t even qualify as allies.
