Super God-Level Top Student

Chapter 402 Mutual Understanding_3

The situation on the eighth floor is probably like this right now.

The outside world views this place as both mysterious and successful. After all, from a scientific perspective, Qiao Ze has just invited Edward Witten and Peter Schultz to Xilin and developed a new particle accelerator theory, making this the driving core for world technological development, becoming increasingly successful.

However, the three of them inside currently feel quite frustrated.

If things were really as smooth as they appear from the outside, Edward Witten and Peter Schultz wouldn't be arguing endlessly at every meeting they hold.

Thankfully, Dou Dou flawlessly took on the task of helping Qiao Ze with mentoring students. Otherwise, Qiao Ze's mood would probably be even lower.

That morning, Qiao Ze listened seriously to Edward Witten and Peter Schultz's argument, just as he did yesterday. Once the time was up, he announced the end of the daily discussion as usual, stopped paying attention to the two, returned to his office, and closed the door.

The world quieted down.

Actually, all the offices in the building have great soundproofing, provided the windows are closed.

Sometimes continuous opinions can offer new ideas, but most of the time they only make one's thoughts more chaotic. Luckily, Qiao Ze can automatically shield himself from the interference of these ineffective pieces of information.

When without clues, Qiao Ze would directly turn on the computer, intending for Dou Dou to find some related literature.

Although there is currently no clear direction for advancing the grand unified theory, quite a few studies still provide some ideas.

For instance, Siegel's conformal field theory, predictions made by Albert Taren through LHC experiments, or the visible dimension model and string landscape model, among others.

Although none of these are considered mainstream academic theories, nor have they truly explored the unification of fundamental forces, these "interdisciplinary" speculations somewhat touch on the grand unified theory. By Qiao Ze's standards, they at least offer new tools.

If Dou Dou can retrieve any insightful literature hidden in some obscure corner, it would naturally be ideal.

In fact, these days, Qiao Ze has been constantly reading, and when he cannot find direction, this is definitely the most likely effective research method.

However, this time, before he could issue any instruction to Dou Dou, this independently-minded little entity assigned him a task — to engage in an in-depth video conference with Microsoft's chairman and CEO.

Juggling with research challenges, Qiao Ze initially intended to reject this, but as he was about to reply, he suddenly recalled an incident.

That was when he was researching the preliminary issues of the Yang-Mills equations, he also had no direction, and the Greater Huaxia Region's president of Apple insisted on coming to Xilin for a meal together. He clearly remembers, during that meal, a remark from the Apple president provided him inspiration, leading to the successful resolution of that problem.

Even though the problem he faced this time was incomparable to last time, Satya Nadella's status in the business world seems to be higher.

Although these business leaders don't have the time to research natural science theories.

But standing at a higher position, they naturally can see farther; perhaps they might discuss interesting ideas and insights that could indirectly assist him? Even if not as lucky as last time, it seems at least nothing would be lost, likely sacrificing just half an hour.

It's worth having a chat.
