Summoning Pokémon in Naruto

Chapter 27: Chapter 27: Medical Ninja Plan and Visitors

"More?"

Sarutobi Hiruzen's smile stiffened slightly. What else is this child planning to show me?

Uchiha Hayato didn't say much and instead pulled out a purple spray can. Under Hiruzen's curious gaze, Hayato explained, "This is a potion from that world, designed for rapid wound healing."

Before the words even fully left his mouth, Hayato used a kunai to make a shallow cut on his arm and gently sprayed the potion over the wound.

As the spray settled, the bleeding stopped, and the wound began to heal. Hiruzen nodded appreciatively, his eyes showing admiration. "Not bad. If we could integrate this into our ninja gear, it would greatly enhance the survival rate of Konoha's shinobi on the battlefield."

But Hayato didn't stop there. He took out a red spray can from his backpack, and this time, he made a deeper cut on his arm without hesitation.

Hiruzen frowned and muttered under his breath, "Hayato, don't overdo it—"

Before he could finish, the Miltank standing nearby sensed the tension and moved closer to Hayato, nudging his arm gently with its head, letting out a low, concerned moo.

"It's alright, Miltank," Hayato reassured it with a soft smile, then sprayed the more potent potion onto his wound.

This time, the healing process was faster, and the wound closed completely, leaving no visible scar. The skin was smooth, as if untouched.

"This is a Super Potion, with an even stronger healing effect. Like the previous one, it's also a spray and highly portable," Hayato explained. "There's an even more advanced potion, but I'm not about to use myself as a test subject for that."

He wiped his arm with a pained grin. Hiruzen might not test it himself, and Hayato didn't have the heart to experiment on his Pokémon, so using his own body was the only choice.

"The key point is, I've managed to summon the raw materials needed to make these potions."

[Items:]

Oran Berry: Restores a small amount of health when eaten.Medicinal Herb Seeds: Can be cultivated to grow herbs for crafting potions.PP Herb Seeds: Produces herbs that boost stamina and vitality.

Oran Berries were among the easiest to cultivate, while the medicinal and PP herbs originated from Pokémon Legends: Arceus, where they were essential for crafting healing items like Potions and Max Potions.

"I heard the Fire Country borders have been unstable lately, and even Sukumo has been sent to the frontlines. If Konoha had a reliable supply of medical resources, we could prepare for war ahead of time," Hayato explained earnestly, his gaze firm and filled with expectation. "I propose establishing a medical division to train medical-nin and promote herb cultivation."

While this proposal was partially for Konoha's benefit, Hayato also had his reasons. By increasing his standing within the village, he could secure greater influence. When the time came to run for Hokage, even if the elders opposed him, the people would rally behind him.

What's more effective than sheer numbers? Hayato thought smugly.

"No!" Hiruzen shook his head slowly but firmly. His tone left no room for negotiation. "Establishing the commerce guild is fine, but the medical division is off the table for now."

"While I agree a medical division is essential, Konoha currently lacks the manpower and knowledge for such an endeavor. Additionally, if we were to form one now, it might alert enemy villages and inadvertently hasten the onset of war."

Hayato blinked, startled by the rejection. That doesn't make any sense. A medical division would strengthen Konoha's capabilities and enhance Hiruzen's reputation. Why turn it down?

Hiruzen softened his tone, noticing Hayato's disappointment. "Your idea is excellent, but the timing isn't right."

Hayato lowered his head in thought, his eyes flickering with frustration despite his silence.

Hiruzen sighed inwardly. Hayato's brilliance exceeded expectations, but such talent often came with challenges.

The proposals were sound individually, but together, they posed risks that outweighed their benefits. Didn't Hayato realize that such actions would paint a target on his back? Other villages would covet or eliminate someone like him.

"Let's proceed with the Pokémon Commerce Guild," Hiruzen said, attempting to console him. "It's beneficial to the village. As for your reward, you'll receive one million ryo and an advanced jutsu as a graduation gift."

Hayato, seeing that Hiruzen's decision was final, nodded reluctantly. "Fine. But, Lord Third, I want to be involved in the negotiations with the clans."

Hiruzen smiled. "Of course. It's your plan—how could you be left out?"

Satisfied, Hayato left the office, his mind already spinning with plans.

Watching him go, Hiruzen's gaze grew complex. "Hayato, if only you'd been born earlier," he murmured, glancing out the window. This isn't the best time to shine so brightly, but perhaps you'll grow into the strength needed to change the world.

Walking home, Hayato felt his spirits lift slightly. While the medical division had been rejected, the commerce guild was at least successful. It would provide financial resources for the village and help him secure his position as a key player in Konoha's future.

Let's see anyone mess with me when I have an army of Tauros and Miltank at my back, Hayato mused, smirking.

As he approached his house, he slowed. Wait—someone's here.

His belongings were safely stored in his system's inventory, so theft wasn't a concern. But who could it be? Minato and Kushina wouldn't visit without notice, and Kushina had been busy with her new friends lately.

Releasing Chimchar from its Poké Ball, Hayato cautiously opened the door.

Two pairs of shoes were neatly placed by the entrance: one adult-sized and another slightly smaller.

In the living room, sitting formally at the table, were Uchiha Setsuna and an elegant girl dressed in deep blue.

"Elder Setsuna… and who might this be?" Hayato asked cautiously.
