STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

The Reed Family:

Audrey Reed came back to her room after finishing her work. After taking some rest, she takes the name list again.

Looking at the name list, she frowned. She had already crossed many names off the list. Only fewer than 10 people are suitable for the mission.

Among them, she rejected Jeremy Night's name. She didn't take it seriously. Right now, she has decided to contact these 8 people.

She then began to contact the first person. He was from a medium-sized organisation. The person was a middle-aged man who was a Tier-4 Beast Tamer.

Audrey told him about the mission. The mission was to enter the inner part of the wilderness to find a special herb. She didn't further explain about the special herb.

But the middle-aged man immediately rejected the mission. He was not stupid to enter the Inner part of the wilderness all alone.

The Tier-5 and above corrupted beasts live there.

If he goes alone, then he might not be able to come back. So he refused to do the mission.

Audrey was not surprised. So she contacted the second person. The second person was a female beast tamer. She immediately refused to do the mission when she realised it was a solo mission.

Not many people can do the mission. Unless the Beast Tamers have the strength of Tier-5.

Some elite beast tamers can confront the Tier-5 Corrupted beasts with the help of their lifeline beast.

Time passed,

Audrey contacted one after another beast tamer on the name list. But everyone refused to do the mission. She was disappointed.

She had thought people would do anything to enter the Field Area. But no one is entering the Inner part of the wilderness.

Audrey needs the special herb for a reason. She hopes someone will agree to do the mission. Suddenly, her gaze fell on the list.

She has contacted all eight people. But there is one more name left, it's the person who wrongly mentioned his strength.

The name was Jeremy Night. She raised her eyebrows in surprise. She doesn't know whether the person would accept the mission or not. But she has decided to contact the person. She won't lose anything either.

Meanwhile,

Jeremy Night, who was in his room, received the call. He was surprised by the sudden call. Then he took a moment to realise it could be someone from the Auction House.

He then attended the call. When he heard the voice. He was surprised. Because it was a female voice.

"Are you Jeremy Night?" Audrey asked.

Hearing that he replied by saying, "Yes, it's me."

"How can I help you?" Jeremy asked.

"I'm Audrey Reed from the Reed Family. I noticed that you have sent your details for the mission," Audrey said.

Jeremy was surprised in his heart. He realises it must be the client who is speaking to him.

"Yes, I'm interested in practising in your Field Area," Jeremy replied with an excited voice.

Audrey said, "I'm glad that you were interested. But the mission is going to be difficult. I don't know whether you would agree or not."

Jeremy calmed his heart down.

"You can tell me. If it's a suitable mission, then I will do the mission," Jeremy said to her.

Hearing that Audrey Reed decided to tell the mission content.

A few minutes later,

Jeremy Night was shocked in his heart. He had thought the mission would be difficult. But he never expected to be this difficult.

He didn't give an immediate reply. Instead, he is giving some thought. He had gone closer to the Inner Part of the wilderness in the previous mission.

He knows how dangerous the wilderness is.

Audrey was happy in her heart. She thinks it's the first person who is giving some thought.

She then said, "If you can complete the task, you will be allowed to practise in our Field Area. At the same time, I owe you a favour."

"In future if you need the favour in future, then I'll help you," She added.

Hearing that Jeremy dropped his last doubt. It's not easy to make connections. He thinks it's a good opportunity.

Because he thinks the mission was important to this lady. If he can complete her mission, then he can make a good acquaintance.

"What do you say?" Audrey asked.

"I'll do it. Send me the details of the mission," Jeremy replied.

Hearing that Audrey said, "Thank you. I didn't expect you to accept the mission. I'll send it right away."

Jeremy Night received the mission details a few minutes later.

"After completing the mission, you can directly contact me. There is no need to contact the auction house. This is my contact address, save it," Audrey said.

Hearing that she ended the call. Jeremy then put his device on the table. He then started recollecting his thoughts. He accepted the mission. But it's not easy to do. He still has an armour suit under repair.

He needs to get the armour suit first. Then he needs to get permission from the Leader Gisela.

Jeremy believes that he would achieve a breakthrough once he practises inside the Field Area.

Then he collected his thoughts before taking the digital device. He started to read the mission content.

His eyes gleamed with a twinkle. He knows that the lady needs a special herb. But he didn't expect that special herb to be a healing herb.

So he became interested and started searching for the special herb name. So much information appeared online. He began to read those articles.

About 10 minutes later,

He was able to learn more about the special healing herb. The herb is used to heal the injuries of the lifeline beasts.

Jeremy thinks that the lady's lifeline beast may be injured. Maybe she needs the healing herb for others. But anyway, he didn't find any issue with the mission.

It's just that the location of the mission poses a great threat to him. He needs to be careful in doing the mission.
