"How should I put it… It's a really strange feeling…" After regaining her senses, Xenovia suddenly let out a sigh.

"Mhm… totally ruins the image," Irina added, twitching her lips.

The Lord they'd imagined was supposed to be holy and dignified, blessing all beings and omnipotent. Riku did fulfil the 'blessing all beings' part and definitely had his share of dignity, but the way he treated those around him was no different from that of an ordinary person. As for holiness… that didn't really fit him at all.

"Hey, you two, that's kind of rude, you know." Riku raised an eyebrow, clearly displeased. "Do you want me to teach you what respect is supposed to mean?"

"Sorry," Xenovia apologised simply and directly.

"Almighty Lord, please forgive my blasphemy," Irina said, holding her cross with both hands in front of her chest.

Riku just shook his head. He didn't care about the title of God of Heaven. For him, it was just something he happened to pick up along the way. He didn't feel bound by it at all.

"Actually, I feel kind of the same way. But compared to the distant, untouchable 'Lord' in my memories, I think I like Riku better. Being with him just feels… safe," Asia said, her eyes full of devotion and admiration. "Now that I think about it, it's no wonder that Riku always said it was 'the Lord's judgment' at the church. Turns out, the Lord was right beside me all along."

"Sigh… Riku-sensei, you're the God of Heaven, but you're over here acting as an advisor for devils. That's really too much," Rias grumbled, rolling her eyes.

"Ara ara, you almost gave me a heart attack," Akeno said, smiling.

Koneko was also looking at Riku with a strange expression. The teacher who was always so pervy and caring to her turned out to be God? That was really something. The God of Heaven working as a teacher for devils if anyone found out, it would blow their minds.

But the man in question didn't seem aware of the shock he was causing.

Koneko watched Riku acting so casually and muttered to herself.

"Riku-sensei… thank you." Kiba looked at Riku with a complicated expression, finally bowing deeply. "Thank you for saving me and the others."

"It's nothing," Riku said with a soft smile.

"But Riku-sensei, if you're the God of Heaven, why are my brother and the others so respectful to you?" Rias asked, clearly puzzled.

Sairaorg and Serafall were Maou of the underworld, supposedly mortal enemies of Heaven. Why would they fear him? Even more, why was there such obvious respect mixed in?

It didn't make sense.

"I want to know that too, Sensei. Why is my sister so afraid of you? Even if you are God, with my sister's fearless personality, she shouldn't be scared," Sona and Tsubaki said as they approached. They were still shaken, but Sona managed to steady herself and asked.

"You'll find out soon enough," Riku replied with a faint, meaningful smile.

"…" That answer was clearly unsatisfying to Rias and Sona, but they didn't press further. After all, Riku was God and their teacher, and had just saved them. A certain level of respect was called for.

Everyone immediately turned toward the source. In the sky, a figure clad in gleaming white armour floated. At the centre of his chest was a large blue jewel, with smaller ones on his limbs, and resplendent azure wings spread behind him, radiating energy that left the onlookers breathless.

In an instant, Rias and the others' eyes widened in shock.

"The White Dragon Emperor?!"

"White Dragon, huh? Are you here to rescue Kokabiel? I thought you'd leave after I killed him, but I guess you've been eavesdropping all along," Riku said calmly. "That's not really the style of the Heavenly Dragon."

That's right, Riku and Schwi had sensed Vali's presence from the start; they'd just chosen to ignore him.

"Well, my bad. It's just that your conversation was so fascinating, I couldn't help but stick around," Vali replied, not the slightest bit sorry, then added with a wild excitement, "I never expected to hear such earth-shattering news."

"I am the White Dragon Emperor. My goal is to defeat God. But with the God of the Bible dead, this world had gotten so boring. And now, to find out there's a new god… you've really rekindled my fighting spirit," Vali said, eyes blazing with battle lust.

"Even more so, despite seizing the throne of God, you're still human, you have the Boosted Gear, so you're my destined rival," Vali laughed wildly. "I always thought I was a miracle, but it turns out there's someone even more miraculous. Not only a human, not just a god, but also a dragon!"

Vali's words made Rias and the others snap back to themselves. In their shock at Riku's divine status, they'd almost forgotten he also bore the Red Dragon Emperor's gauntlet.

At the same time, Xenovia and Irina remembered why Riku had said he was human, a god, and even a demon king.

Realising this, Xenovia and Irina exchanged stunned glances.

"I may not be a true Red Dragon Emperor, but it seems you've put me on your list of opponents," Riku said, watching Vali with a look of appreciation.

He did like Vali, fearless, ambitious, with incredible potential.

"So, are you planning to fight me right now? I wouldn't mind," Riku said coolly.

As he spoke, an overwhelming aura exploded from him, instantly forcing Vali's fighting spirit to a standstill.

Even though Rias and the others weren't being targeted directly, they could still sense Riku's terrifying power. It brought them all back to their senses, no matter how relaxed he usually seemed, Riku-sensei was really strong!

Under Riku's calm gaze, the previously passionate and arrogant Vali suddenly found himself at a loss for words, unable to utter a sound as he was overwhelmed by the pressure.

"A wise choice," Riku replied calmly.

Rias and Sona, meanwhile, perked up. Whether it was Asia or Xenovia, and Irina, all three had incredible potential. If they could be recruited as servants, it would be something worth celebrating.

"To think that you, of all people, would ask your loyal believers to become devils. Really…" Irina rolled her eyes, unable to hold back her teasing.

"Irina, come on, just hanging out with the Lord and a bunch of devils is already wild enough," Xenovia replied, putting on a serious face.

As he spoke, Azazel shot Vali a sidelong glance, letting out a silent sigh.

…Meanwhile, at Riku's house…

"Xenovia, Irina, what are you doing in the bath?" Riku was soaking in the tub, looking at Xenovia, who wore only a white towel and Irina, who was clearly conflicted but still let herself be pulled in by Xenovia. Riku smirked teasingly. "You two are so desperate to repay your debt with your bodies?"

"Mhm. The Lord has done so much for mere servants like us and even made us his divine attendants. We talked it over, and this is the only way we can think of to repay your kindness," Xenovia replied seriously, nodding. "Even though mere mortals like us shouldn't even dream of having children with the Lord, I can't think of any other way."

"U-uh…" Irina hesitated, but in the end, she nodded as well.

"That's so? Then I won't hold back," Riku grinned, eyes roaming over their bodies.

For attendants who offered themselves up so willingly, what man could say no?
