Starting Sign In From Naruto

Hinata slowly began to regain her consciousness. When she opened her eyes, she saw herself lying on the ground in an uncomfortable position.

When she tried to gather her thoughts, a pain shot through her head. She remembered someone behind her, whom she tried to shake off before being knocked unconscious.

The terror, like never felt before, was rising up her veins. She struggled to sit up but found, although she was regaining her consciousness, all of her limbs were absolutely unable to move.

Then, a long silhouette stretched out in the moonlight was seen in front of her. She exerted great force in looking upwards, where a black-haired boy stood before her.

Concurrently, Xu Fan caught a glimpse of Hinata.

Their eyes met, and in Hinata's fearful gaze, Xu Fan saw terror. Her small body instinctively tried to move away from him, her eyes filling with tears.

The sign-in was complete, so Xu Fan could have just left Hinata there.

But seeing her expression—

Weak, pitiful, helpless, and utterly despairing—

made Xu Fan sigh.

He crouched down slowly, noticing Hinata's attempt to shy away from him.

"I'm here to save you."

"You're safe now."

After a brief explanation, Xu Fan ignored her reaction, picked her up in a princess carry, and held her in his arms.

"I'll drop her off at the Konoha Hospital," he thought.

Xu Fan was sure of his plan. If he happened to encounter members of the Hyūga clan on the way, he could simply hand Hinata over to them.

However, during the journey, he neither came across the Hyūga clan nor any search parties from Konoha.

Perhaps they hadn't yet realized Hinata was missing, or maybe it was due to the route he'd taken.

"Fine, I'll create some noise and leave."

Boom!

Harnessing his immense chakra, Xu Fan clenched his fist and struck the ground, creating a powerful impact.

Just as Xu Fan was about to turn and leave, Hinata finally mustered enough strength to utter a faint sound.

"Name…"

Her voice was still so soft it was almost inaudible, like the buzz of a mosquito.

If not for Xu Fan's sharp hearing and the quietness of the night, he might not have noticed it.

Come to think of it, Hinata had always been shy, her voice soft and delicate by nature.

"Senju," Xu Fan said, leaving behind only a surname before vanishing into the darkness.

Not long after, the commotion alerted the hospital staff on duty. They rushed outside to investigate and were shocked to find Hinata lying on the ground.

"Isn't this… the Hyūga clan's young lady?"

The staff panicked and immediately called for assistance to carry Hinata inside.

At the same time, Xu Fan, who had gone missing, was perched on top of an electric pole secretly watching Hinata get carried into the hospital to receive treatment. Only after that did he turn and leave.

Upon hearing this, Xu Fan's eyes lit up.

Signing in at the Ninja Academy?

He had taken Hashirama Senju's chakra, but he had merely received an incredible amount of chakra.

To be a member of Konoha's upper echelon, or even Hokage, he first had to be a ninja.

At least Naruto was a genin, although he was frequently ridiculed.

Xu Fan, on the other hand, was a simple civilian from the waning Senju clan.

To climb Konoha's political ladder and become Hokage, becoming a ninja was the only way.

Entering the Ninja Academy would be the first step toward becoming a genin.

"Besides, if the first reward was so generous, the next sign-in might grant me Wood Release!"

Hashirama's chakra combined with Hashirama's Wood Release—now that would truly be the God of Shinobi.

Of course, this would be a feat for tomorrow. Xu Fan already had a rather long day behind him and needed something to be worthy of a proper rest.

In the meantime....

Hiashi Hyūga, head of the Hyūga clan was leading a band of clan followers in pursuit; soon he could see the edges of the borders of the Fire Country.

Whoever did it, he needs to find his daughter.

 After an indeterminate period, Hizashi Hyūga, who was supposed to stay at the main Hyūga residence, appeared at the scene.

"Clan leader."

"Hizashi? Why are you here?" Hiashi asked, shocked to see his brother.

"It's about Lady Hinata."

"Hinata? What about her?"

On hearing Hinata's name, Hiashi's emotions became agitated instantly.

For both his daughter and the future of the Hyūga clan, Hinata was an important figure.

"She was taken to Konoha Hospital," Hizashi revealed, taking a deep breath as he continued to speak.

"Hinata is taken to the hospital?"

Stunned, Hiashi looked back to see what lay before him.

Could it have been Lord Jiraiya after all?

"Hizashi, gather up the bodies of the Cloud Village ninjas and bring them back to the village."

Hiashi instructed, but before waiting for Hizashi's reply, he sprinted back toward Konoha.

Just as Hizashi had said, Hinata was lying in a hospital bed, receiving treatment.

Not only that, but the Third Hokage and Danzo, the advisor, had also arrived at the scene.

"Lord Hokage," Hiashi greeted, before hastily asking about Hinata's condition.

"She's fine now, just frightened. She needs some rest," the nurse replied.

"Who brought her here?" Hiashi asked again.

In fact, both Hiashi and the Third Hokage, as well as Danzo, were very curious about this.

"We're not sure either," the nurse said after some thought. "But Lady Hinata mentioned the name Senju several times while unconscious."

"What?!"

Hiashi, the Third Hokage, and Danzo all froze at the revelation.
