Star Wars: the purge

After the emperors speech, a ball was held for the highest ranking personal of the empire. This was done for them to foster good relationships with the new emperors, and to congratulate him on his succession.

Arriving at the luxurious gates that would take them inside the ball room was Vincent and Kokichi. Before entering Vincent turn towards Kokichi and speaks in a serious tone.

"Alright Kokichi, this isn't just a celebration ball, the highest ranking politicians will be using this event to curry favour with lord Anakan, while the high ranking officers myself included will be useing this time to show off our best and brightest officers. Ace piolets, battle champions, promising scientists, you name it they will be there.

"They will see you Kokichi as my promising new officer that im nurturing, so hold your head high return polite greetings and try not to embarrass yourself tonight."

"Ha,I know your joking, well I think your joking anyway. But don't worry I know how important this event is for the both of us."

"Good, also keep in mind that you will recive offers from other high ranking officers, some will be out of interest for your unique talents, while others to spite me."

"And while some of their offers will be tempting, remember this Kokichi there is no better position to rise through the ranks then beside me."

With kind eyes and a playfully smile Kokichi puts his hand on Vincent's shoulder" you worry to much friend, I know where I stand and will continue to stand."

With thise words said the two begain to walk through the door. What greeted them was a spectacular sight, beautiful marble flooring that reflected light from the extremely ornate chandeliers that floated above. A large group of finely dressed people,of all sought of races, servant that handed out drinks and food for the guest. Stirs at the back of large room white in colour decorated with red carpet that led to the second floor allowing the venue to house even more guests.

As Kokichi walked in he could feel some gazes directed his way, analysing his every step with sharp eye. A look that made him avert his eyes uncomfortably,before he could lower his head he was interrupted by Vincent

" keep your head high, don't let them bother you, most of them aren't really that important."

Apon hearing this Kokichi could see others grit their teeth a bit before turn away, all afraid of the very idea of any conflic with the man beside him.

Just as I thought all was going well, a tall figured man made eye contact with me and begins slowly walking over.

As the tall man with neat dirty blond hair, short beard, peircing blue eyes and a highly decorated military uniform comes closer.

Coming forward He completely ignores Vincent's greeting, saluting me before throwing his out stretched hand toward me.

Unsure of how to react to the officers brazen act of disrespect toward Vincent, but not wanting to be ill mannered I return a salute and shake his rough hand.

"Colonel Fedlock of the imperial army. What is your name and specialty lieutenant?."

"I'm lieutenant Kokichi Muta sir, I'm what you could call a remote druid engineer."

Raising one eyebrow in interest." Now that's an interesting skill, one that is wasted serving under a boot licking, ladder climbind sorry escuse of an officer like Vincent."

"One word from me to the high command and I can have you reassigned, what do you say lieutenant want to come under my command, a command were you won't be stuck in a ship all day and actually see combat."

If Kokichi wasn't utterly shocked by his first actions he definitely was now, not once had he heard even so much as a snicker of disrespect toward Vincent.

Looking over in Vincent's direction I could see the annoyance growing on his face while looking at Fedlock. An anger that he was starting to feel the same the more the Colonel spoke. Insulting the first person that Kokichi could confidently call his friend.

Finally mustering up word to say that weren't venomous Kokichi spoke." As kind as your offer is Colonel Fedlock I will have to politely decline such an offer."

His condescending smile slowly faded morphing into a kind smile." Good,good you've got loyalty kid, you always do know how to find the good one's don't you Vincent my old friend."

Laughing lightly Vincent now decides to speak."you always are a nuisance Fedlock, it surprises me every time that you even managed to make it to the rank of Colonel."

Fedlock bursts in to a fit boisterous laughter." Hahaha you know it surprises me sometimes to, knowing the right people can help you get further in life sometime."

Kokichi Interrupting." So how do you know Vincent, didn't think he was really one to socialise that often."

"Hmm, you haven't really known the Vincent that long have you. But to answer your question I served under his command back in the last years of the clone wars, it's probably one of the reason I hold my current rank, that and I'm an absolute machine on the battle field."

With new insight into Vincent he was going to continue to ask for more information, but then all of a sudden the room started to become deathly silent, the guests began to fidget uncomfortably as they gazed up at the stairs leading to the second floor.

As Kokichi followed their gazes he was almost left frozen as a chill ran down his spine. Gazing upon a figure who was as beautiful and she was terrifying, with long scarlet red hair that was tied into a large braid. Piercing yellow eyes that looked down at everyone below as if she was planning their very murders. Dressed in an imperial offers uniform only added to her frightening look.

As she turned her head in Kokichi direction, her eye locking onto them. Noticing her targets a mencing grimln began form on her beautiful red lips.

This action completely out reflex caused Kokichi to step into a defensive stance and begin channelling cursed energy throughout his body fearing pertental conflict.

Every step she took down the stairs caused the room to grow ever quiet, as she stepped onto the first floor the other guests began to step back involuntarily fearing just being in her precence.

As she grew closer cold sweat started to drip down Kokichi back, hoping that she wasn't one of the individuals that Vincent had bad blood with. Ever so slightly Kokichi began to coat his fist in cursed energy.

Thinking that it was just him Kokichi turns toward Fenlock only to see him completely silent. Holding his hands behind his back as to not show the mencing figure walking towards us that his hands were not so subtlety shacking.

As she topped arms distance away from Kokichi, looming over Kokichi at a towing 6.2 feet she dwarfed Kokichi, looking down at him like a predator.

Believing that she would not kill him I a public setting, but with all the cancelled weapons she was carrying on her person, it had Kokichi wondering how she even managed to get into this high class venue.

In an eeri calm voice she speaks to Kokichi and action that continues to send chills down his spine, his mind telling him to either attack now or flee." I haven't seen your face before, you must be new."

Turning to Vincent for help, he looks at me slightly before smiling." It's good to see Kassandra, this is lieutenant Kokichi Muta."

With a twinkle of amusement sparking within her eyes." Nive to meet you Kokichi Muta we will be seeing a lot of each other from now on, I hope we get alone well."

Vincent seeing my delemor he tries to ease Kokichi worry." This here is major Kassandra of the imperial navey, as well as my second in command and vice captain of the Oblivion."

Looking at Kokichi with a puzzled expression" there is something odd about you, you have good reflexes and didn't cower completely and yet your muscle are untrained how is that possible?."

With a troubled expression Kokichi replies." I was born a cripple, and was up till about a mouth ago."

With very accurate insite kassandra speculates." Then that would mean that you controlled a puppet of some kind, allowing you to fight through it.interesting that would mean your going to need some training,and your in luck kid this I were the fun begins.

With those words and relizing that there was probably no getting out this Time Kokichi could only curse inside 'well shit'.
