Chapter 84: Chapter 84: Ten Fist Swords, A Destructive Battle

"AHHHHHH!!!"

Nnoitra's scream tore through the forest as if his soul itself were being ripped apart.

This time, he wasn't the summoner—he was the price. The one being summoned… was the Gedo Statue.

Smoke exploded into the air in thick white plumes. His body nearly torn to shreds, Nnoitra vanished in a burst of light and spiritual pressure.

And then it descended.

Before the stunned eyes of all the Espadas and gathered Hollows, a monstrous entity—hideous, towering, grotesque—materialized like a living mountain. The Gedo Statue.

Its roar echoed across the endless forest of Menos Grande, shaking the earth beneath their feet.

Nnoitra's presence was completely gone, as if he'd been crushed beneath the very foot of the colossal monster.

The Reiatsu that radiated from the Gedo Statue was even more terrifying than what it had during the Soul Society war. Now fused with Hollow spiritual energy, it exuded a twisted, unnatural power—like the fury of both gods and demons combined.

Harribel narrowed her golden eyes, breathing in sharply as she studied the monstrosity.

"This thing... it's even more terrifying than the Beast God-Yong. How was it created? It doesn't just contain Shinigami power… it's laced with Hollow energy too..."

The Beast God-Yong, a creature formed from the fused remains of her three Fracción after they severed their own arms, was already a nightmare—a being whose destructive power rivaled even hers.

But compared to the Gedo Statue, it wasn't even close.

This thing was on a whole different level.

The others—Ulquiorra, Grimmjow, and Yammy—stood rigid, tension crackling between them.

Ulquiorra broke the silence.

"…We can't rely on Nnoitra. We attack together. That's Lord Aizen's command."

Without waiting, he drew his Zanpakutō. His expression was blank—but deadly serious.

"Resurrect: Murciélago."

His Reiatsu erupted, and black energy poured into the sky like a thunderstorm. It rained down like droplets of ink, and the air darkened around him.

Ulquiorra's form began to shift. Gone was the pale Espada in white robes.

In his place stood something far more sinister—a true demon.

Two vast black wings sprouted from his back, and his white mask grew twin horns. His hair lengthened, his nails extended into deadly claws. A demonic helmet crowned his head.

Then came Harribel.

She didn't hesitate.

"Destroy him: Tiburón!"

Her Reiatsu surged upward, a tidal wave of power surging behind her.

Her outfit changed—more revealing now, her bronze skin shimmering against the white remains of her armor. Behind her, a swirling current of water formed in mid-air, crashing like the sea during a storm.

Her sword now resembled a giant, shark-toothed cleaver—deadly and beautiful.

Grimmjow let out a wild grin and shouted:

"Grind: Pantera!"

With a crackle, his figure blurred into a feral, feline shape—his speed and bloodlust practically radiating off his form. A white panther stalked into battle.

"Roar: Ira!"

Yammy bellowed, his Reiatsu erupting as his massive body began to expand like a balloon of muscle and rage.

He transformed into a towering titan of pure brute strength, his voice shaking the battlefield.

"Th-this is bad!" Kadishe stammered, his face pale. "They all used their Resurreccións… Master Qiye, we have to run—!!"

If it weren't for Nilu still resting weakly on Qiye's shoulder, they might've already bolted in fear.

After all, even at her peak, Nilu was only ranked Third Espada. There was no way she could take all of these monsters at once.

Qiye narrowed his eyes, watching the enemy's overwhelming power gather.

"…Yeah. This is definitely a problem."

He licked his lips, smiling wildly.

But then—he laughed.

"Still—running away? That's not really my style."

His eyes glinted with reckless excitement. Reiatsu flared from his body, hotter and more violent than ever.

"Let's make this a real show!!"

"Complete Form—Susanoo!!"

A crimson blaze erupted from Qiye's body.

Red skeletal ribs formed around him in an instant. Then arms, armor, and finally—the full form of a Martial God towered into the sky.

Susanoo, in its complete form, stood shoulder to shoulder with the Gedo Statue, each one as enormous and imposing as the other.

In its left hand, a massive Yata Mirror shield shimmered with divine defense.

In its right hand—a glowing Totsuka Blade, shaped like a gourd-tipped sword, gleamed with the power to seal anything it strikes.

It was the Susanoo of Uchiha Itachi—both deadly and untouchable.

Qiye had absorbed the spiritual energy of countless Menos Grande. His Rinnegan had already awakened.

But with that power came the Mangekyō Sharingan—and with it, multiple forms of Susanoo.

For this moment, Itachi's form was the perfect choice.

A battlefield of titans formed—Susanoo and the Gedo Statue standing as gods of war and destruction.

"ROOOAAAARR!!!"

The Gedo Statue let out a world-shaking howl.

A pillar of lightning burst from the spines on its back, arcing across the battlefield, turning the sky white for a moment.

The very forest of Menos Grande trembled.

Then, the statue opened its mouth.

Vast spiritual energy condensed at its core.

A black orb slowly formed in front of its gaping maw.

Qiye's eyes widened.

"...That's—a Tailed Beast Bomb!?"

Qiye hadn't expected this.

After its latest enhancement, the Gedo Statue had changed—dramatically.

"…No, this isn't just a normal transformation," he murmured to himself, eyes narrowing. "It's a Cero... but different. It must've devoured the Soul Society's King of Destruction—and inherited the ability to absorb and replicate the Tailed Beast's power..."

Before he could finish his thought, the Gedo Statue's mouth opened wide—and an overwhelming black beam of energy shot forth like a lance of pure annihilation.

BOOM!

It tore through the sky.

But Yammy, ever impulsive and full of pride, roared with laughter.

"Don't underestimate me! I'm YAMMY!!"

He opened his enormous jaws, gathering a swirling mass of blue Reiatsu, and fired a powerful Cero of his own—straight at the black beam.

For a moment, the two beams clashed mid-air.

But only for a moment.

The black Cero consumed Yammy's attack without resistance.

"Wha—?!"

Yammy's eyes widened in disbelief.

And then it hit.

The blast engulfed him completely, swallowing him in a blaze of black light. With a guttural scream, his massive body was sent flying—his figure completely erased from view.

Only a massive crater remained in his wake, stretching deep into the heart of the Menos Grande Forest.

"…That brainless idiot…" Harribel muttered under her breath, jaw clenched.

She could hardly blame herself for being angry—one Espada down, and the fight had barely begun.

But she didn't waste time mourning Yammy's loss. Instead, she bypassed the Gedo Statue altogether and charged directly toward Nanaya, her blade shimmering with water-based energy.

"Trident Mist Halberd!"

A compressed torrent of water exploded from her sword, forming a sharp, piercing jet—like a blade of the sea itself, aimed at Susanoo's core.

But Ulquiorra and Grimmjow weren't idle.

In perfect coordination, both raised their hands toward the red-armored titan.

"Gran Rey Cero!!""Gran Rey Cero!!"

Twin beams—one emerald green, the other blue-green—blasted through the battlefield, slamming into Susanoo's chest with tremendous force.

Qiye barely flinched.

He raised the glowing Yata Mirror shield, and the attacks dissipated against its surface.

"What? That's it?" he laughed, voice booming from within Susanoo. "Doesn't even tickle!"

With a sharp motion, he swung the Ten-Fist Sword forward—aiming straight at Harribel.

Her instincts screamed. She felt a danger far greater than any ordinary strike—a danger that went beyond death.

Without hesitation, she retreated.

Her face was grim.

"What is that sword…? Why does it feel like it could erase me entirely?"

She stared at the glowing, gourd-shaped blade.

As the Ten-Fist Sword struck the ground, a pulse of red light spread outward.

Everything it touched—soil, roots, rock—was instantly absorbed into the blade, as if reality itself were being devoured.

The Espadas nearby watched, stunned.

"Wait… that sword… it can seal us!?"

A chill ran through them.

If even a fraction of that weapon's power hit them head-on, their souls would be sucked into the gourd, sealed away for eternity.

No wonder Aizen had ordered them to attack as a unit.

One or two Espada alone wouldn't stand a chance.

Not against a monster like this.

"…We need to destroy that red war god first," Harribel gritted out. "Don't let that sword touch—"

Her words caught in her throat.

BOOM!!!

The Gedo Statue's hand came crashing down.

A massive, five-fingered impact crater exploded in the earth where she had stood moments before.

Harribel reappeared nearby, cold sweat running down her cheek.

"…Tch. These enemies are more troublesome than I imagined."

The battlefield had become chaos incarnate.

A clash of titans—Susanoo vs. Gedo Statue, Espada vs. sealing sword, destruction vs. annihilation.

Reiatsu of every color lit up the sky: green, cyan, black, blue, crimson—each burst a monument to the fighters' raw power.

Shockwaves rippled through the battlefield, blasting apart the ancient trees of the Menos Grande Forest.

Gray-white trunks cracked and split.

The ground beneath them was torn open—huge craters formed one after another, the very earth caving in under the pressure.

The war had truly begun.
