Chapter 2: Alec's thinking
"You have to think carefully, Selvia." Negut suddenly added: "At that banquet, many powerful people and bosses of big companies will also attend."
"If you go there, not only will the fact that you own 10% of Terith Group's shares make you stand out, you can also get to know the people at that party."
Selvia glanced at Negut and said disdainfully, "Don't think I don't know what you're thinking, Negut. You want to use that party to announce to everyone that I'm your girlfriend, right?"
Negut was a little surprised when he heard that, but then smiled awkwardly: "Hahaha… as expected, I can't hide anything from you, Selvia."
However, in his heart he felt amused by Selvia's arrogance.
'Selvia… that party is for you.'
"Huh! Of course I know what you want, Negut." Selvia laughed and said, "However, since you gave me 10% of the shares, I won't embarrass you in front of everyone."
"I hope you will keep your promise then; otherwise… In this life, don't expect to see me again, understand?"
As Selvia spoke, she used the file on the table to lightly slap Negut's face a few times.
Negut was not upset but instead smiled ingratiatingly: "Of course, if I hadn't met you, how could I have lived?"
"Huh!" Selvia snorted in disdain, her gaze looking at him like a dog trying to wag its tail at her.
Selvia threw the file behind her without caring whether there were any important documents inside or not, then left.
"Wait!" Negut suddenly spoke up as Selvia was about to leave.
She turned her head and looked at him with an annoyed look: "You want to change your mind?"
"No…" Negut pointed at Alec and said, "You can go, but he can't."
Alec frowned, his fists clenched: "What do you want?"
Selvia also looked at Alec and Negut in confusion.
Negut shrugged and said, "I heard you are Selvia's fiancé?"
"That's right!" Alec said firmly, his words still carrying a hint of pride.
"Ah! I only have one piece of advice for you." Negut said with a smile: "You are not worthy of being her fiancé."
"Do you know how humiliated she was to have a useless fiancé like you?"
"You are not even worth a dog; you are like a parasite living on her money."
"If it weren't for her, I'm afraid you would be a trashy beggar now, sitting on the street corner, living on the mercy of everyone."
"You…" Alec clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, "Do you want to die?"
"That's what I should be saying to you." Negut laughed disdainfully: "If I were you, I would have left this place long ago. I wonder… how hungry you must be to cling to Selvia for so long."
"You…"
Before Alec could finish his sentence, Negut took a wad of money from his pocket and threw it at his face.
Smash!
The bills flew everywhere like a rain of money: "Ah! Is this enough?"
"Negut!" Alec shouted.
"Alec!" Suddenly, Selvia also shouted: "Watch your attitude."
"Selvia, he insulted me."
"Ah! You have self-respect too?" Selvia laughed contemptuously: "If you have self-respect, then get out of my house right now; don't be so arrogant."
Even though he was scolded by Selvia, Alec wasn't angry at all; on the contrary, he felt his heart ache.
His fiancée saw him being humiliated by others, and not only did she not help him, but she also humiliated him.
'Wait!' Alec suddenly realised something: 'She's definitely not that kind of person.'
'Because Negut is here, if she shows too much intimacy with me, I will definitely face retaliation from Negut.'
'It seems… She said those harsh words because she cares about me and is afraid that Negut will cause trouble for me.'
'Selvia, thank you… Really, thank you. But don't worry; from now on, I will definitely make Negut kneel at our feet like a dog.'
Alec let go of his hands; he no longer felt angry. Being cared for this much by the woman he loved, there was no need for him to be angry.
"Huh!" Alec snorted in disdain: "Dogs only know how to bark."
Negut frowned: "Very good… Then, would you like to come to my dinner party?"
"Of course. I am her fiancé; I will definitely come."
"Ah! One more thing…" Negut smiled, pointing at the door: "You broke my door; that's $2,000. Will you pay in cash or by card?"
Alec: "..."
'Damn it! This bastard is rich but why is he so stingy?' Alec cursed inwardly.
"Wait! What the hell is wrong with that door that it's worth $2,000? Are you kidding me?"
Negut shrugged and said, "The door is made of a rare wood and has an electronic lock. You can find an expert to appraise it."
Alec heard that and looked at Selvia in embarrassment.
Selvia pointed at Alec and said angrily, "You… you…"
She really didn't know what to say; she could only shake her head and sigh: "Why do I have a useless fiancé like you?"
"Sorry, Selvia." Alec gritted his teeth and lowered his head, feeling extremely ashamed.
If he had known this would happen, he wouldn't have shown his strength by kicking the door.
Selvia sighed again, looking towards Negut: "My secretary will pay."
After saying that, she immediately left, not wanting to stay in this place any longer.
For Selvia, there were two bags of trash, one yellow, the other black, and that was it.
When Alec saw Selvia leave, he also hurriedly followed. But before leaving, he did not forget to glare at Negut with hatred and then left with satisfaction.
Negut felt amused; he just sat on the sofa and stared at the information board in front of him.
'Alec, I hope you will like the gift I have prepared for you at the banquet.'
A moment later, another girl dressed similarly to Selvia entered the room.
"Hello…" The girl entered the room, saw Negut, bowed slightly, and said: "I am Laura, Director Selvia's secretary. I came to compensate for the door."
Negut glanced at Laura, an office outfit but still could not cover up all the charm of the curves she possessed.
Her long black hair was worn down to her waist, her face was beautiful but cold, and she wore yellow glasses, making her look like an extremely serious woman.
"What did you say? I didn't hear clearly." Negut tilted his head and said, "Come a little closer to me."
Laura trembled a little when she heard that, but then still went to his side.
"I am… AH!"
Before Laura could finish her sentence, Negut grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him.
She lost her balance, fell into his arms, and landed right between his legs.
"Director Negut, you…"
"There is no one here but you and me; you don't need to show me that cold face."
Negut said as he hugged her with both hands. Of course, his hands were not idle either, as they gently caressed Laura's hips and massaged her two soft, big mountains.
"Um… Director…"
"Hm?! Call me Young Master…" Negut's hands were like two thieves, easily sneaking through her shirt, touching the soft skin hidden behind her neat outfit.
Laura felt the warmth coming from Negut's big hands. She even felt his fingers touching the pink peach blossoms on the mountaintop, causing her to moan uncontrollably.
"Um… um… Young Master… don't…" She didn't seem to resist; instead, she reached her hands behind her back, hugging his neck.
The cold and serious face that was so scary just now completely disappeared.
Instead, her face was red with embarrassment and pleasure as she immersed herself in the feeling of being caressed by Negut's hands.
"You did a great job with the task I gave you. What reward do you want from me?"
