Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 666: 665: Transformation

"Burn."

The moment Corey said this word, flames that were as beautiful as an Aurora appeared on Corey's fists, and in the blink of an eye, the flames traveled from his fists to the tentacle-like appendages of the spirit.

The spirit shrieked so loudly to the point that Corey's ears bled.

"What?!"

Savage's eyes widened in shock as he stared at his contracted spirit that was writing in immense pain.

His gaze moved to the azure, silver, and violet flames that was slowly increasing in size as it burned his contracted spirit with a fiery intensity.

"What the hell is that flame?"

Savage spoke out loud with a baffled expression, but in the next moment, his eyes widened as his instincts screamed at him.

Without wasting a single second, his body moved before his mind even told it to.

A fist went over his head the moment he bent, however, he saw a knee coming for his face as he bent.

Savage's eyes widened because it felt like Corey already knew that he was going to bend and he acted accordingly. The speed of Corey's knee was too fast and the distance was way too short.

Bam!

Savage's head snapped back and for some strange reason, the pain he felt from Corey's attack was more than what he was supposed to feel.

Before Savage could regain his composure, Corey drove a fist into Savage's head with all his strength.

BANG!

Savage's head slammed into the ground, and then Corey placed his foot on Savage's head.

"It didn't even take so much to make you kneel before me."

Corey grinned, and without waiting for a response from Savage, he slammed his foot on Savage's head.

Bam!

Bam!

Bam!

Bam!

Corey repeatedly slammed his foot on Savage's head without saying a single word. Only his cold pure white eyes and indifferent expression could be seen on his face.

He raised his leg and then he slammed it on Savage's face once again.

Although it seemed like Savage was allowing Corey to step on his head without trying to stop him, this was absolutely wrong.

Everytime Corey stepped on his head, Corey was using Vibration Manipulation to damage and disrupt the movement of Savage's mana.

This was not all he was doing though, he was using his newly attained ability after ascending to Tier 3, Soul Perception, to perceive Savage's soul and with the power of Soul Entropy that was also infused into his every strike, he was practicing on how to attack Savage's soul.

This was the main reason why Savage had not been able to make a counter attack and why Corey was able to embarrass Savage for so long.

Everytime Corey stepped on his head, his soul shook in pain and sometimes, it got damaged.

Every slight disruption and damage to his soul prevented Savage from using any of his abilities and also from commanding his contracted spirits

Corey's ability to severely harm his contracted spirits also placed them in a state of fear and wariness, and this was exceedingly detrimental to him .

If not for this, his contracted spirits would have attacked Corey from the onset.

However, Savage was literally Corey's test subject, and if anybody knew this, they would be beyond shocked and speechless.

Savage was regarded as one of the most powerful amongst the Underworld residents. Even Divine was a little bit wary of Savage.

However, if there was one reason why Savage was in such a position to begin with, it was because he underestimated Corey, and it was also because of Corey's unconventional abilities.

The anger, the rage, and the fury that was in Savage's heart rose with every second that passed, and Corey knew this because it was reflected in Savage's soul.

His soul grew brighter and brighter, and Corey suddenly smiled and paused for a moment before he slammed his foot on Savage's head once again.

Without waiting for a single second, Corey vanished to another corner of the room, and the moment he appeared, a loud inhuman roar of primal rage and soul shattering defiance thindered in the room and the entire room collapsed.

The walls of the room crumbled and so did the ceiling, and through his Eyes of Omniscience, he could see the entire building which was the headquarters of the Legion of Nightmares crumbling apart.

Stones and large pieces of debris fell on Corey but his eyes remained fixed on Savage's transforming figure. As the Stokes and large pieces of debris fell on him, a barrier made out of hexagons flickered as the stones and debris shattered the moment they touched the barrier.

The earth trembled.

The air darkened.

And then it happened.

Beneath the rubble, Savage's soul burned like a black sun. However, it didn't burn with light with the fiery flames of fury.

Thick, suffocating smog-like aura exploded from his body, and it flooded the room in a storm of dread. The shadows in the room also began to slither like serpents towards Savage.

Savage's body unnaturally rose into the air, and then it began to expand slightly, but not like a bodybuilder but like a sinewy creature, like his flesh was stretched over something writhing beneath it.

His eyes turned completely black, and then tendrils of thick black smoke began leaking from his eyes, and in the smoke were horrifying spirits that were physically trying to escape his gaze.

Savage's skin cracked and from the cracks oozed black mist and red sigils that crawled like tattoos across his body.

His back erupted with writhing, semi-invisible appendages that consisted of ghost hands and tentacles that phased in and out of visibility, like blinking glitches.

Some appeared skeletal, others were clawed, and some were just shadowy mouths.

His hands grew larger and became jagged, like claws made of broken obsidian.

The moment Savage's transformation was complete, the gravity around him became distorted slightly and the stones and debris around him floated.

The temperature dropped drastically, and the air became thick and black, as if ink had been released into the oxygen in the air.

Savage's body slowly got closer to the ground, and the moment his legs touched the ground, a thick dark breath was released from his mouth.

Corey watched all of this silently with his pure white eyes still cold.

"Now that's more like it," he muttered while cracking his knuckles.

"Let's see what you've got."
