"Hey, Rongrong, Zhuqing! You made it!"

Ye Chen's heart soared when he spotted the two people he missed every night. He couldn't help but beam as he made his way over to Shrek's group.

But just as he took a few steps, disaster struck—the bath towel he was wearing brushed against the corner of the sofa, leading to a rather embarrassing moment.

At the same time, the six lovely girls from Tianshui Academy, who were hanging out behind the sofa, stood up in surprise at the noise.

Ye Chen quickly grabbed the towel to cover himself, looking at Rongrong and Zhuqing with a distressed expression, feeling like a thousand horses were racing in his mind.

"A misunderstanding? Then what do you call all these girls?" 

Ning Rongrong pointed at the six pretty girls from Tianshui Academy, her delicate face suddenly flushed with anger. Even Zhu Zhuqing, who usually kept her cool, had a fierce look in her eyes.

"What?" 

Ye Chen frowned and turned to the Tianshui girls, but seeing their expressions made him want to laugh and cry at the same time.

The six girls exchanged disappointed glances with Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing, then quickly mumbled some apologies before hurrying out of the villa.

Ye Chen nervously swallowed and forced a smile, saying, "See? Just a misunderstanding, right? Haha."

It was clear his explanation was a bit flimsy, even if it was the truth. Ning Rongrong turned to Dugu Yan and said quietly, "Thanks for bringing us here, but you don't need to see us out."

After that, she politely escorted Dugu Yan out and closed the door, then slowly approached Ye Chen with Zhu Zhuqing.

"Whether it's true or not, we'll get to the bottom of this. You can't escape today."

The tension in the air was palpable, making Ye Chen gulp and take a step back.

"Please, it really was just a misunderstanding! Ah!"

Before he could finish, Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing tackled him and dragged him into the bedroom, leaving only a couple of scratch marks on the smooth floor.

Clenching his fists, Ye Chen's eyes burned with determination. He vowed that once Rongrong and the others were a bit older, he'd make them kneel and sing "Conquer" in front of him.

Lost in thought, he eventually turned over and fell asleep, utterly exhausted.

"Captain, you need to see this! There are a ton of people outside!"

Ye Chen was jolted awake by the urgent shouts. Rubbing his tired eyes, he opened the door to find Xu Ning looking impatient. "Captain, you really need to check it out! Our little courtyard is surrounded, and it's not looking good!"

"What's going on? Is it that Fourth Prince from yesterday, causing trouble again?"

Yawning, Ye Chen waved his hand dismissively. "If it's him, just deal with it however you want. I'll take the blame if anything goes wrong!"

Xu Ning shook his head. "It's not the Fourth Prince; this is about you, Captain."

His anger was palpable, making Xu Ning take a few steps back, not daring to make a sound.

Ye Chen couldn't help but cough lightly, then casually patted her shoulder. "Let's handle this mess first, and I'll explain everything to you tonight."

With that, he stepped up to the door, his gaze icy as he addressed the crowd.

"Hey everyone, isn't this a bit much? If there's something to discuss, let's talk it out. Coming here to stir up trouble for no reason? Do you really think I'm an easy target?"

His voice wasn't loud, but everyone heard him clearly.
